Ten Dragons RP

SYNOPSIS: You are in the (fantasy) land of Verenia, which is currently being terrorized and colonized by ten dragons: Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Ice, Lightning, Stone, Metal, Thunder and Darkness (King). Nobody has risen up to the powerful dragons for centuries, preferring to live and let live, instead of invoking their wrath.

But now...some adventurers in the Near Village Inn have decided that it's about time Verenia has been freed from these dragons, who, apparently, are sapping the land of its resources and enriching themselves, enslaving the people, and basically showing them who's boss. They must journey through Verenia and the surrounding lands and stuff, in order to defeat the first nine dragons before taking the King himself, who has imprisoned the last remaining member of the Verenians' royal family - Princess Vivienne.

CLASSES:

MAGE: Each mage has his/her strengths and weaknesses. Each elemental magic is the ultimate enemy to another. This is why the dragons are spaced apart in Verenia - not only to keep more careful watch on the land, but also to keep them from destroying each other.

WATER beats FIRE
LIGHTNING beats ICE
METAL beats LIGHTNING
STONE beats METAL
THUNDER beats STONE
WIND beats THUNDER
EARTH beats WIND
ICE beats EARTH

ICE cannot destroy WATER and WIND and vice versa
STONE cannot destroy EARTH and METAL and vice versa
LIGHTNING cannot destroy THUNDER and vice versa
FIRE cannot destroy LIGHTNING and vice versa

(For example, you cannot use ice or water against the Water Dragon, but you can still use any other element, but Fire will always pack the biggest punch.)

WARRIOR/FIGHTER: Attack by physical damage...swords, bows, daggers, bare hands, etc. You still hold elements, but you are only limited to METAL, WIND, EARTH and STONE, depending on your main weapon. For example:

Bow - wind and earth
Sword/any dagger - stone/metal

HEALER: The name says it all - can heal oneself or others in battle or out of it. However, a healer must have one or two elemental magics.

HYPNOTIST: They can control a dragon's mind for a short time, but this takes a lot of their magic (LIGHTNING and THUNDER - fixed) and they won't be able to mesmerize/hypnotize/possess for a while after one bout.

You can be a combination of two.

Appearance: Wears a plain white shirt and brown trousers underneath her flowing blue robe, simple brown sandals and three silver hoops in each ear

Physical features: Long blond hair pulled into a braid, bright hazel eyes, freckled skin, rather short for her age

Strengths: Water, ice, wind

Weaknesses: Fire, lightning, earth

Background: Born and raised in Near Village, Saria is no stranger to the dragons' harsh domination. She has had a difficult time persuading her parents to allow her to take magic lessons for the sole purpose of fulfilling her dream of freeing Verenia from the dragons.

Weapon of choice: Simple wooden wand

Personality: Calm and mellow, Saria is a gentle soul who only embarks on this strange journey for the sake of helping her land. She is a dreamer, a thinker who really looks before leaping.

Name: Vedra

Age: 19

Appearance: A white robe with white cow hide pumps and two clear jewels on each eyelid.

Physical features: A young woman, Vedra is rather tall, about 6" with very short white hair that hardly goes back into the ponytail she wears. She has large liquid blue eyes and pale skin.

Strengths: Wind, Earth and Stone

Weaknesses: Ice, thunder and earth (in some ways, she is her own weakness, in that sense)

Background: Vedra grew up a lonely child, depending on her books to keep her company. She rode horses through fields on sunny days, with no one to befriend her. Older, she stole a set of her fathers arrows and his bow. It was then she discovered her talent.

Weapon of choice: Bow

Personality: Kind hearted and sweet, Vedra can also be protective and quiet, for the fact of her up bringing. She smiles often and likes to look on the bright side of things. She is also very bright and thoughtful.

Ok, so this isn't exactly in what you asked... if you don't want me to have this, just say.

Name: Cadmus (last name unknow)
Age: (unknow) (appear at least 25)
Class: Dragoon Warrior
Appearance: Fairly muscular. His long, black hair, tied in a Ponytail, end at the middle of his back. He always wear a black cloak to hide himself, under which he wear red coton clothes, with a leather plate, and a leather glove over his right hand as only armor.
Physical features: A huge scar cross his right eye, which seems to hold a deep meaning to him, as he will often touch it. Some lines(scars) form a dragon wing on the back of his right hand, the sign of a servant of the dragons.
Strengths: Wind, Earth/Stone
Weaknesses: Earth, Ice, Thunder
Background: Raised from birth to serve the King of the Dragons, he has done so faithfully for as long as he can remember... That is, until it ordered those he thought were his comrades to capture his beloved, pregnant of his first child, and kill him. While he survived the attack, he could not save his beloved. He is now wandering, waiting for the time where he will be able to get his revenge..
Weapon of choice: Lance
Personality: Cadmus is determinated and cold. He will stop at NOTHING to accomplish his goal. He lives stuck in the past, with his memories of what he lost...

About Dragoon Warrior: The highest Servants of the Dragons, Dragoon's main fighting technic is rather passive, and a mix of normal fighting and magic. They jump high in the air to avoid attacks, before falling on their opponants, lance first, to cause massive damage. They have controls over wind, allowing them to jump MUCH higer than normal persons can(Cadmus, the most talented Dragoon of his time personal record being 15 meters), and to control the dirrection of their fall. However, this jumping also mean opponing themself to aerial attack, from flying opponant to shooted(arrows and the like) weapons alike.

Name: Umi
Age: About 19
Appearance: Short blue hair and blue eyes. She has a frail appearance, and is overall rather short.
Physical features: None really notable beside the fact her blue hair is a natural feature.
Strengths: ???
Weaknesses: ???
Background: A mere servant, she was put to be the Maid(read that as complete slave) of Cadmus. Their first meeting didn't exactly go well. She (willingly) injuried him over his right eye, something that, done to anyone else, would have earned her Death. But Cadmus, benevolent, accepted her and stayed patient.. until they both fell in love. The King Dragon did not see well the Mariage of his most trusted General with a simple slave, and when she became pregnant, arranged it so that Umi was captured and Cadmus killed. Cadmus survived and fled, swearing his revenge, and Umi captured. Her whereabout are unknown.
Weapon of choice: ???
Personality: Umi was strong headed. She hated all of the Dragons with passion, which didn't stop her to fall in love with their King's second in command. She was trying to convince Cadmus to run and start a new life when she became pregnant and captured.

Name: Strenn
Age: 22
Class: Warrior
Appearance: Wears a black shirt, black pants, a black jacket with green straps.
Physical features: Short blonde hair, light skin, a very short goatee.



Strengths: Stabbing things. Wind
Weaknesses: Earth
Background: A wandering mercenary. He used to learn blades from his master, Karel, but Karel was slain after trying to oppose the dragons' minions. Without guidance, Strenn started working as a mercenary and killed targets as long as he got paid.
Weapon of choice: Sword
Personality: Sociable. But serious when it's about business or personal matters. He doesn't like talking about his past and gets angry when someone brings it up. He is loyal to those whom he lets himself near and those who hire him.


EDIT: His family all died in a freak accident and was adopted by Karel. There. Plothole filled.
