Runey entered the Inn and gently sat down at the bar. She pushed her hair behind her ears and her eyes wondered to the people next to her. She chuckled and turn to the bar. "Firewhisky please" She placed a coin on the bar and relaxed back.

Cadmus sighed. "It's getting fairly crowded here..."

"What...are you scared of people, or something? Who cares...I haven't seen much of people for the last couple of years." Vedra sighed. She got up again and always put a coin on the bar. "A beer for me, and the firewhiskey for her." She nodded towards the girl. She might as well make the most of this.

One of the innkeeper's associates came to fill the orders, taking the money and slamming down the respective drink in front of each customer.
Meanwhile, Saria looked longingly at the group of people having a few drinks. She would have liked to join them, but she was still too shy. Her misty eyes continued hovering upon them, but she glanced away whenever she thought someone looked at her.

Cadmus took the drink that had been taken to him. It was strong, indeed, even if it wasn't completely to his taste. He glanced at Saria.
"Saying all of these things earlier, and yet you don't even have the guts to come close to strangers? Before you fight something, you have to fight your owns fear. If you change the order, you'll just get yourself killed." He grinned, more maliciously than meaningly.

He did have a point, Saria thought, but still...she had never been outgoing or friendly. She would rather lock herself up in a room with nothing but her wand and a spellbook, but it didn't hurt to try and talk to these people. If anything happened...at least she could cast a mean hurricane.
Standing up slowly, she stepped forward to meet Cadmus. "Uh...um...hi," she whispered. "I'm...I'm...Sariavenelle, but everyone calls me Saria..."

"I'm Cadmus. C'mon, sit down and drink." He took a seat next to him. "I've got to admit I'm rather... curious.. about that goal of your." He grinned.

"No thanks, I don't drink, I'd prefer water, and I'm not really that thirsty," said Saria, slowly sliding into the empty seat beside Cadmus. "I don't know...I just feel like I'm being called to go out there and save the land from those dragons, see," she added.

"The girl has ambition." Said Vedra, who had, after finishing her drink, turned her attention back to the conversation. "Good for her." She pulled up her chair and sat down, her eyes never leaving the girl. "Saria, aye? Nice name."
She frowned slightly. She noticed the girl had not much muscle on her. "So, what do you do? Obviously not a fighter...magic, is that right?" She felt dizzy. She had not tuched drink for years. She turned her head and shouted. "An ale, a glass of water and whatever this guy wants."

"Yes, I am but a mage," said Saria. "What is your name?"
Meanwhile, one of her father's assistants had come around to their table, mopping a sweaty brow.

"I won't take anything else, thank you... I already have something... well, not for long." He drank his drink in one shot, satisfied. "Magic is plenty useful.. but only as backing. I'm suposing you will want companions, for this goal of yours?"

Saria was taken aback, and she nearly fell off her chair in surprise. "You...would join me on my quest?" she squeaked. "I've always planned to go alone...but my father has always said that there is strength in numbers..."
She grinned. "I was never good at anything else but magic," the innkeeper's daughter admitted. "But if you're willing to help, I would be forever grateful. So would the entire kingdom."

Vedra grinned at Saria. "I certainly do. Although, I will have to give myself immense will power before we head off, if I want to keep myself from punching Cadmus in his pretty face."
