((Welcome to the most hackneyed rp in the universe! =D Create characters that have the most overused personalities and quests! Make satirical references to other well-known plots! Enjoy!)) Name: El'lisarra Background: A fairy elven princess born under the sign of the pink rose. Kind and gentle to all creatures with a secret desire for young 12-year-old peasant boys who sudden decide they must get strong and save a kingdom. Kidnapped by the Evil Lord Thragnadark at the age of 9 she has been trapped in his evil secret hidden lair for many years Appearance: Fair skinned, short, long shimmery pink hair, and eyes that sparkle when there's not really any light source around ***** El'lisarra sat at the window of the highest tower of the lair. With sad eyes she gazed over the landscape surrounding the edifice's radius. All of it seemed to be dead, dark and gloomy and constantly stormy. Despite the fact just about a hundred yards away everything was lush, green and full of fluffy white bunny rabbits. She could almost see her homeland of Terriwind in the distance with it's glittering forrests and giant happy mushrooms. How El'lisarra longed to return and frolic once again with her people and many furry woodland creature friends...

Name: Annnn (Yeah, that's the correct spelling)
Background: Annnn always thought she was a normal girl... until one day she found an old book in one of her normal visits to the library. (She spends a lot of time in the library, since she's smarter than anyone her age) Full of curiosity, she read the book to find out she was the last heir of a very powerful family of magical beings. She soon finds out she has magic powers that allow her to control the elements. She, obviously, is a very fast learner and soon learns to control her powers. She has became selfish and likes to use her powers to her advantage, but is not what you'd call evil. She's a teenager now... she wants to live a normal life... but we all know she'll get involved in something unusual somehow, right?
Appearance: white skin, green eyes, dark brown hair. She always wears cool oufits that look good on her, but don't ask me where she gets them from.

((Fine. I'LL start the storyline.))
Nrstfagl, King of the Demons, the one who had captured El'lisarra, was very unhappy. Not just because his entire supply of black capes had been burned up when he was angry and set fire to his bedroom, not just because his demonic minions had all decided to take their sick leave at the sime time (the announcement of which had caused him to set fire to the room), and not only because nobody had learned to pronounce his name yet, but because he was the evil lord of a cliche fantasy RP, which means he would most certaintly be killed off by a bunch of idiots who couldn't even define 'cliche.' Although he quite liked the glowing red eyes, demon horns, black clothing, tower of evil, and horde of orcclones.
((Note: The opening paragraph is stolen from Eric by Terry Pratchett.))

Appearance: Tan skin, long black hair that falls slightly below her waist, bright green eyes that emit this strange, supernatural aura, and is always wearing a shirt and trousers instead of dresses.

El'lisarra sighed as she heard her captor incinerate yet another room somewhere in the depths of the seemingly endless lair. She wanted to hate him but as and elven fairy princess she could only see the good side of people and if they had none believe that they were simply crying out for love on the inside. Whoich she had to do in Nrstfagl's case seeing as he kidnapped her for no real reason and hadn't even bothered to make up a lame excuse. Sighing again she waited for all her feathered birdie friends to return to the tower with fresh wildflowers so they could merrily sing and weave flower chains. That is if they weren't chomped to bits by the flying demony things that always seemed to be circling the lair

No matter how many flying demony things he summoned, the little birds could always bring wildflowers in. And if he punished El'lisarra by terribly mutilating her face and arms, her skin healed and returned to being beautiful by the morning. Why, oh why did he want to be the lord of her father's kingdom so much? ((Note: I'm assuming that if El'lisarra isn't a princess, then she has been raised by an adoptive peasant family and has no clue who her real parents are. This ok?))

((So she is a princess but doesn't know it you mean? Perfect XD)) Suddenly El'lisarra looked up from her window sill and clapped with glee as one by one her feathered friends appeared in the distance. She greeted them all by name and began singing a happy ditty as she collected their flowers. "Why hello Mr. Cardinal! I trust your wife is well. Ms. Bluebird it has been so long! Oh and you brought my favorite! Daisies! Glad you could come Robin family!" " Oh in this old dusty towwwwer! Many a day here I had! But with my friends all aroooound me! I know I'll never be sad!" As she sang the birds began flying about and tweeting to her song as they threaded together a crown of flowers and dropped it upon her head while she twirled and danced and sang.

(I hope you don't mind if I join in. This was too funny to resist. xD)
Name: Leon Darkheart
Background: Leon lived the average life of a RP farmboy, tending to the livestock of his parents' farm and, in the mean time, learning the arts of swordplay and archery. He soon became the best and most skilled archer and swordsman in the entire village at the ripe age of eighteen, which is conveniently neither too old or too young for a good RP character. One day, a mysterious stranger came to the village and killed his father and mother. Leon fell to his knees, begging for their lives. The stranger said that he would only resurrect them if Leon sold his soul to the darkness and became a bad dude. Leon did so, and lost all consciousness, all though we all know it's buried somewhere in that tortured heart of his.
Personality: Your typical mindless minion that does whatever his master, Lord Thragnadark, tells him to do. He's in a perpetually angsty mood because his life sucks and he doesn't have a soul, but tries to remain as stoic as possible whenever he's around superiors. Hidden deep beneath layers of angsty-ness and stoicism is a poetic hero yearning to be set free.
Appearance: Bright blue eyes as clear as cold river water, pale skin that's neither too tan nor too pale, and shaggy silver hair that manages to remain shiny and perfect, no matter the weather condition. He's neither fat nor skinny, and is extremely well-muscled, and wears dark chainmail with a silver cape. He wields a magical sword set with some gemstone whose name he can't pronounce, and has a shiny pendant passed down from his mother who told him, as a child, that it would "summon a miracle when times were darkest".
Leon was in a bad mood. Hiding away in the darkness of Lord Thragnadark was never a very uplifting experience, and besides, his life just sucked so it really didn't matter the location he was in. Gripping the pommel of his shining silver sword for no apparent reason, Leon waltzed up and down the halls in silence, patrolling them for any prisoner who managed to escape from their cells. It had never happened in the amount of time he'd spent in servitude under Lord Thragnadark, but he'd always figured it was useful, just in case someone did manage to break out.
But no one ever did.
As he continued to walk in the dusty dark dankness, a voice hit Leon's ears and caused his heart to lift suddenly, before returning to the darkness from whence it had sprung. The noise was that of the fair elf-princess El'lisarra; of that, he was sure. Her voice was a pure and beautiful as a unicorn, and just as fragile. Just hearing him made him want to leap forward and sing in response...
But no. He couldn't. His life wasn't that cheery and bright. It was, y'know, all angsty and dark. And besides, what would his superiors think if they saw him prancing around like a fairy boy while he was patrolling the halls for prisoners that would never escape?
And yet, the call tugged at his heartstrings. As the beautiful lyrics floated from El'lisarra's throat, Leon's mind concocted words in response to hers. He paused outside her door, listening to the sweet twittering of songbirds locked in a chorus, undoubtedly in one of their many flower-crowning sessions.
He knocked on the wooden door. It was one of his duties to shut the elf princess up whenever she was singing; it gave all the demon-minions a headache. He couldn't understand why such heavenly strains of the most wondrous voice imaginable would evoke such anguish, but a duty was a duty.
He waited for the princess to approach the door and open the slit on the other side, so he could talk with her.
