Bob sighed and kicked over a bucket. It was very hard in a place like this to make inanimate objects feel good about themselves.
The bucket clattered over without putting up a front for itself. "Bucket, my instincts tell me that you have a lot of potential inside that big metal cover."
The bucket rolled over.
"See?"

Dark Lightning! Eon instinctively equiped his spear but was hit.
"Aah!" he said as he slammed into the wall. "No! My hit points!"
Eon looked at Nrstfagl. "A fight you want, eh? Well, this spear adds +4 to my defense and +3 to my speed. What do you have to say about that?" He twirled his spear and lundged at the Dark Lord.

And during the somewhat fragmented action, Calypso slowly began to stir. She moved an arm and mumbled something, but she still wasn't completely awake.
