Eon pointed at the spot where the hippie dissappeared. "EVOL! EVOL LAIR! And by the way, is this RP rated PG? If so, I think you can say the swear." "No thank you," said Calypso. "And blame my mother. She swears a lot, even though my father hates it." She glanced at the lair and examined it. It did seem evil... "Should we go investigate or something?" "Sure! What could go wrong?"

Calypso examined the lair and tried to find an entrance. There was a rather large oak door at one side, and it was impossibly locked with large rusty chains with an equally tarnished padlock.
"I'll handle this," she said. Summoning her extraordinary godly powers, she created a huge blast of green flames that instantly melted the chains and lock.

Eon picked up whatever remained from the lock. He turned to Calypso.
"You know, you could've knocked. Now we owe these evil people a new evil lock and chains"

"Who cares?" she replied to Eon. "Well, at least we found a way in. So are you going in, or not?"

Eon shrugged and asked, "Should I say 'Ladies first?' or 'I'll go in first as a gentleman' or something like that?"

"You go in first," said Calypso with a shrug. So you'll be the first to get hit, in case someone's waiting for us, she added to herself with a smug smile.

Marblanc just looked at E'llisarra with a sigh. ''You'll have to stop doing it if you want to survive. If you must, don't make any noise and make sure no one sees you.'' He smiled.

"Um okay," said Eon as he took out his spear and entered the lair. What horrors would he face? Oh no!!!!
"Lookee here! I found a penny." :3

El'lisarra cried more of her echoey crystal-like tears and sat on her bed hugging a pillow. "But I don't even want to be here! Why must I do whatever that nasty demon lord tells me? I feel like a little bird in a cage here..."
Right on cue a soft gust of wind swept through her tiny barred window and blew her hair and tears gently to the side. Some tears landed on a dead plant which instantly regrew back to life.

"A penny?" Calypso raised an eyebrow. "A PENNY? DON'T TOUCH IT!" A blast raced out from her fingertips and instantly reduced the poor coin into a piece of charred nothingness.

"A penny?" Calypso raised an eyebrow. "A PENNY? DON'T TOUCH IT!" A blast raced out from her fingertips and instantly reduced the poor coin into a piece of charred nothingness. Eon sighed as his road to riches vaporised in a flash of light. And he saw another penny on the ground. And another. A trail of pennies leading of somewhere. "Hey Calypso, look at that."

"Oh, so this is one of those cliche scenes where we follow this trail that either leads us to something good or something that will spell our doom?"
She glanced at Eon and sighed.
"Fine. I'm leading." Using a fistful of green magic as their beacon, Calypso marched forward and held it up like a lantern.

"You're probably right," as Eon followed.

The trail of pennies led Eon and Calypso towards a long, winding staircase that twisted and turned all the way to the top. The place was eerily quiet, and some parts were dusty.
The demi-goddess glanced upward and strained her ears. Somewhere up high, there was something going on.
The question was, what?
"D'you hear that?" she whispered.

Nrstfagl grumbled as he saw that the adventurers were onto his follow-the-penny trail. It had been a good one too. There were three shark pits, falling acid, not to mention the spikes...
