Not to count chickens etc. etc., but from the results so far I think Gunnerkrigg's got this one. =DDD I'm so happy for it and Tom; this will be great for getting the comic some well-deserved recognition right when it needs it.

I'm not happy with the negative feelings it's generating, about the readers OR the comics. @gunnerkrigg: It was bound to happen, and I was never really okay with pitting comics in direct competition with each other in the first place. @gunnerkrigg: Also, while I'm thankful for those who voted for me, I realise that my comic has undeservedly made it this far in the running. @gunnerkrigg: With that said, I have requested that, win or lose, my prize be donated to Child's Play on my behalf. I do not feel it is mine to claim. @gunnerkrigg: So, thanks again for the support, I hope there are new readers that have found comics they will continue to enjoy! |

I'm a fan of GKC, have no doubts about that, but I think that from an objective standpoint Goblins is the better comic of the two. But no matter who wins, I'm just glad it will be one of my favorites.
