I know there's quite a few of us out there, so I thought I might as well create this organization to celebrate the fun and joy and constant nagging mysteries of GKC.

And speaking of the mysteries, a few days ago in my spare time I put together a master list of all unanswered GKC questions. For your viewing pleasure:


I'm sure this list will get edited quite a lot. These go in chronological order, and I've tried to limit it to questions that will actually get answered (So no "Who sells time shares on labyrinths?"). At the moment, I'm only at chapter 25, anyone who wishes to help will receive my undying gratitude. At the end of Chapter 25, this was approved and edited by Tom. Without further ado:

--How did Reynardine know that Surma was dead just by figuring out that Antimony was her daughter?

Maybe Surma or Antimony's father wouldn't have sent any child of theirs to the Court otherwise? If I remember correctly, her father only sent Antimony to the Court after Surma died; possibly because he wouldn't have been able to look after her at home?

--Why does the court even have large animal holding cells?

Research? Alternatively, why not?

-- What's the point of the room with the cherries?

I think that there was a theory that this was part of a plan to get into the Court to try to leave some of the seeds he dropped.

-- Why does Annie get so angry at the notion that Mort was giving her a couple's gift?

Maybe Annie thought that Mort had known about the symbolism of the blinker stone and had been trying to trick her into carrying something that could be seen as a sign that she and Mort were together even though they weren't?

1. Good theory. Hasn't it been said that Anthony didn't like the magic side of the court? (Once again raising the question of how the heck did Surma end up with this guy)

2. Yeah, I thought "Why not?" was a good answer for that too, but someone suggested it on the GKC forum and I thought "Well, it could be part of super sinister research or something."

3 and 4. XD

5. So then why did he want to drop the seeds? All these questions are so connected. XD

6. Yeah, sure she could think that, but why would she get so ticked off at it when she nearly never loses her cool? She's emotionless, and then the thought that a boy wants them to look like a couple sets her off? There's gotta be something more there.

5. Ysengrin is supposed to have power over trees. The seeds could have been any kind of tree seeds that he could control. Even if he could only hear what was going on near them or something, that would have been useful.

(5.) Probably yes. Anja and Donald Carver made a computer program using magic, so persumably at least some of the people at the Court are interested in studying Etheric Technology and how it works.

Yes! =D One down, 50 or 60-some to go! Oh, and I posted the list of Unanswered Questions on the GKC forum, and have gotten some responses. So the UQ list is modified with lots of shiny new questions (and one gone!)
