Elycien couldn't dodge it, or else Tank would hit Alerid. She grabbed her scimitar almost immediately, but had only drawn it halfway when the blade hit her, tearing into her shoulder. The Thirecath gritted her teeth with pain, the gun falling from her hand.
With an effort, she brought the scimitar up in a defensive stance, grasping it with both hands. "At least have the decency to get away from him," she hissed, stepping forward. Alerid, behind her, was cringing at Tank's approach. The Thirecat captain's posture made it clear that she would defend him with her life.

"Elycien!" Arista yelled over the fighting. "Clear a path for me and I can get the injured and the servants out of here."

Clint fired a few rounds into Tank's back as he moved closer, and beat him over the head with the M-16 when he was close enough. Naturally he did this so that it would damage the gun as little as possible, so the blow wasn't nearly as strong as it could have been. But it was really meant as more of an attention grabber anyways.

A few clicking sounds more and Vyt was able to hear how far everyone was. Now, all he needed was to sense whose scent was peculiar and he could fight even without his eyes.
"Arista, how many enemies are there? I'd like to know," he purred.
Dum looked at Elycien and noticed how stiff her movements were. Behind her was someone injured, probably the Alerid everyone else was talking about. "Ms. Elycien, I'll get Alerid to a safe distance for you," his voice echoed around the room, reminding him that he was still submerged in it. "You go and pit Tank in a corner. He can't handle the pressure of having too many targets all at once," he informed her.
Quickly, Dum reformed himself between Elycien and Alerid, and started carrying the latter away from Tank. He needed to give the mercs a lot of space to counter Tank's free movements.

"Tank is the only one left." Arista said to Vyt.
She kept her eyes on Dum as he carried Alerid away.

A quick nod of thanks was all Elycien could spare toward Dum; at least now that she knew Alerid was safe, she could fight more freely. Her eyes briefly took on a distracted look as she used energy from the Emerstone to quickly patch up her injured shoulder; she couldn't spare enough energy right now to completely heal it, but now the pain had eased to a dull throb that she could easily ignore. With luck, she wouldn't strain the injury further in the course of her battle with Tank.

Fire erupted around the three vampires, but instead of it being the rich red of Fenrix's power, it was pure white, the hottest fire around. Takehiko grinned and shoved Hades away, tilting his upper body back far enough that the blade wouldn't reach his throat. "I wonder if you burn." He retaliated by lunging forward and grabbing Hades' human arm, shoving it into the fire and holding it there.

((*had far too much fun with this post* ..sorry if I godmoded Takehiko a bit, Fen.))
Fire.
Hades froze at the first flash of it, his left arm pulling back to his chest, even as his right arm was pulled into the fire. The scent of burning flesh was what brought him back to himself, and Hades’s eyes narrowed. “Burn,” he whispered, clenching his right hand into a fist. “Burn.” He opened his hand, grabbing onto Takehiko’s own.
Overcharge was such a simple concept. It was also one that Hades hated. Last time he had used it.. Hades shuddered, staring straight at Takehiko. Last time, he had burned. Last time, he had nearly died. Last time, he was fighting an opponent just as physically strong as this one. Last time had been what sent him from Spacefleet. Once was enough.
He could feel the electricity in his hand, feel the pain and hiss as the fire burned. And he smiled, pulling back against Takehiko with all his strength, pulling the elder vampire into his own fires. “Die,” he whispered, grabbing hold of Takehiko’s sword hand with his cyborg one. No limits on how much electricity pulsed through his implants. Either they would die, or Takehiko would. There wasn’t really a third option.
Well. Other than Hades himself dying, but he doubted that would happen. He was far too stubborn.

" Fine let's go." Cyborg said as he and Midknight started to where the mercenaries were. " Let's go Rose!" Midknight yelled. " What Rose is here?" Cyborg asked. " Yes she is." Midknight said as he and his rother reached where the merc's were. " Want help?" he asked.

(Taking advantage of Tank's lack of movements...)
Vyt took out his kunai and started to smell his way towards the direction of Tank. It was a good thing he was able to detect whose scent belonged to a mercenary and whose didn't; Tank's was nothing closer to what he could usually sniff.
"Vampires like you need to learn that there are so many species more powerful than your whole clan combined," he began to brag. "I'll show you by killing you without even using my eyes."
With that, Vyt started to rush towards Tank, his tongue still creating clicking sounds to guide him from any obstacle within the way.

Arista stared at Vyt as he got up and rushed Tank. He can't even see, yet he's going to try to kill a vampire? She thought to herself. He's going to kill himself!
"Vyt, what are you doing?" Arista asked him in cat.

Tank snarled in pain and back away from them all. The gun Clint had used broke from the force of it, and gave him a nice old headache. Teach him to use simple steel against a vampire. "Oh please Vyt. Don't even." He slammed his foot and created a hole in the ground just underneath the half-cat.
He was bleeding out, and knew he was going to die, but he refused to give in or give up. "So, it seems you've killed me. How very interesting." He grinned wickedly at Alerid before slumping against the wall. "I'll never leave you, messenger boy. You'll remember me in your thoughts, and you'll see me in every bit of glass or metal." Now his voice came softer as the life left him. He was dying...no...dead.
((And with that. Say bye-bye to Tanky!))

((Ugh, killjoy. T__________T))
Vyt made another clicking sound one step in front of him and heard no echo. That gave him the image of a deep hole, and the intuition to jump and avoid the gap that would've swallowed him whole.
His jump led him near Tank, but before he could even strike, his eyesight came back. It was after Tank mentioned something to Alerid that the ninja was able to see once more. It was as if the darkness that enveloped in front of his eyes dissipated upon the death of Tank.
Vyt was angry. Very angry.
He began stabbing the lifeless body of Tank, not having a speck of respect for the dead. "So YOU'RE the one who gave me that headache! Darn you, vampire! Darn you to the deepest hell!" he screamed.
Dum stepped in to stop Vyt from further riddling holes in Tank. "That's enough, he's already dead," he sighed. "Alerid is safe, and no one's killed-"
They were forgetting someone.
"I'm worried about Lady Fenrix," Dum said. "We should go and find her."

(( , Fenrix, you may want to read my OOC discussion post... Just in case you read the RP first.)) Seeing Tank die, Clint was completely emotionless. He didn't care one way or the other about Tank as long as he didn't interfere with Clint's objectives. Now that he was dead, he didn't. Objective one was completed, so Clint quickly snatched his weapons away from the slaves and marched down the halls without a word. It was time to find Takehiko, objective two.

Jernath watched blankly as Tank fell to the ground, dead. Well. That was the end of that.
"Want help?" came Midknight's voice which seems to have went otherwise ignored. Jernath turned his head to see where the voice was coming from, noticing that Midknight was back. And...
"Cyborg?!" Jernath narrowed his eyes, taking a defensive stance against the Kougra. "What are you doing here?" A pause, and then in response to Midknight's question, "You're too late; Tank's already dead."
