"And, no," Xivions said, bowing her head towards Hades. "I don't think that'll be neccesary. I'd hate for you to go out of your way-" Xivions almost said 'to get pulverized', but checked her tongue. "-to fight me," she finished lamely.

Hades shrugged. "Training requires us to practice against each other. I would just be jumping ahead a bit." He glanced around the room. "And unless any of you want me to stay, I'm going to try and sleep. Or do something to wake myself up." Like go jump in a creek, he silently added. That would work nicely.

"Sweet dreams." It was a common statement to someone going to bed, but for a long time, Rain had decided to mean it with all her heart. Dreams can be blessings or curses. To her, it was an important fact of life. After all, dreams are powerful.

Hades laughed. "I refuse to try and sleep. It either won't work or work too well. But I thank you for the sentiment." He raised a hand, deliberatly using his mechanical left one. Without another word, he turned, heading for the back door and the forest behind it.

"Suit yourself, I rather like that form of initation..." She checked herself, she almost said why she liked it. She was still wary of everyone, and didn't think spouting about all of what she could do, would help her. She cast another glare at Vyt, and turned sideways. "I'll go get Elcie. Shiloh stay here." With that, the vampiress silently melted into the backround.
Shiloh snorted, "Stay? Who tells a cat to stay?" But he sat down and began washing his paws. "Good morning Blizzard, where's that useless friend of yours? Still sleeping I suppose?" He was referring to Blitzkrieg. He still didn't like the male.

Xivion waited to see if Fen would come melting back into the room, but when she didn't, she squatted down next to the black cat, watching Shiloh stretch.
I wonder. She thought, fixing her eyes on the cat.
Hello. .... hello? She tried to make contact with the cat's mind.

Shiloh blinked. "Do you have to do that?" Beldratted humans. I can hear you just fine. You are called Xivion? Strange name you humans have. Might you have a nickname?

"Bathroom's down the hall to.. hm.. your right. We tried to make it in the middle of the living quarters, you know. There's a men's and a women's, but I'm afraid they aren't marked that well." She gave a sheepish look. "It was fine having them on paper until they got doused. We haven't replaced them since."
"... That's fine with me, as long as I take a bath", Vyt replied, even trying to imply that he didn't care if he gets watched while doing so.
Just before he could leave, Vyt heard Shiloh say, "Do you have to do that?" His sight caught Xivion with her eyes fixed towards him. The statement made the half-feline wonder if this Xivion was trying to do something with Shiloh.
Vyt tried to warn Shiloh, "... Don't talk", but all he could do was whisper. For the first time, he felt worried for the circus cat. He hoped his almost inaudible sound could reach Shiloh... somehow.

Rain shrugged as Hades left. "Well, in that way, I can be versatile. Dreams aren't always in your sleep, after all." She frowned, then shook her head and looked over to Vyt. "-And all I'm saying is that we wouldn't want to surprise any of the girls." The girl took another bite out of her sandwich rather resolutely then plunked herself down at the small wooden table at the far side of tbe room.

She gave up trying and stood there, impatiently tapping a foot on the floor as she waited for the return of the vampire. |

Shiloh snorted, stupid girl. He could hear her, but she could not hear him. Oh well. He ignored Vyt, it was not for him to decide whom Shiloh would speak with.
Fenrix tapped lightly on Elycien's door. "Elcie? We...ah...have a visitor downstairs. She wants to join the mercenaries. I didn't do anything to her." She silently added the word, yet. "I'd let her in, but I'm not sure I have that authority."

Blizzard's tail flicked slightly. "My brother is supposed to be waking Elcie up. I just came down to see what was going on." She glanced across at Xivion, studying the girl with faint interest.
"Coming," Elcie called, hastily pulling on her clothes and opening the door. She grinned faintly. "The way you say that makes me wonder. Did you want to do something to her?" She walked toward the entrance hall, followed closely by Blitzkrieg.

Shiloh hissed at blitzkrieg, visibly tense. His hackles rose slightly and he rose from his sitting position.

((Sorry I have missed much and need to go back a few pages.))
Arista heard the people in the room start to make their way out of the room. Looking around again, she darted into the closet that Vyt had been hiding in earlier that day.
"I wish I had the gut to show myself." Arista whispered to herself as she tried to force her way back to the left corner of the closet.
Finally, it looked like all the people had gone to bed. Arista slowly came out of the closet and took a look around, making sure to stay away from the sleeping corridors. To make sure she was not heard, she shifted into a small cat, almost the size of a baby kitten.
After a while, she perched herself on one of the window sills. The rain had just started to come down harder than it had the night before.
Arista had lost alot of time staring out the window, till footsteps in the building brought her back from her day dreaming. She quickly changed into a bat and flew silently to the closet and the place she had founded as her hiding place. Hiding in there, she listened to all the conversation that went on when a new person came to the front door.

Xivion hastily straightened up. Habitually, she slipped one hand in the belt at the her, playing slightly with dagger to keep away the stress. She tried to shut out her thoughts, but she kept getting weird contact. Someone's mind was talking to her. She blinked, feeling a little dizzy.
I wish they'd shut up.
I wish the Superior would be here soon.
