((Hehe, we get to go on a shopping spree first Hmm. I wanted to have a painting/decor party in my room >> Not sure when that will get fit in, after the pirates is fine too though )) Ice gave little thought to Keng's comment. She'd gotten used to weird things, especially from Zarah. Skipping ahead of the two, and the salesman as well, she pondered her color choices. Navy, definitely. White, maybe? Silver would be cool, too. Looking over the wide array of bedding, she selected a navy sheet and comforter, along with some pillowcases of the same hue, accented with silver trim. Oh noes.. There's no cart! D:"You, salesman guy. We need a cart or basket or something, unless you want to carry our stuff for us," she smiled.

((*lol* Alrighty! silly question to ask a bunch of shopping females (and one male, sorry hon) "no, lets wait till we finish shopping before we get to kick some butt!" *lol* Sorry Shino! shouldnt be long ) Zarah's disconcerting smile floods back, "No, you just remind me of someone I once knew." She always had been a good liar. "Right away ma'am!" the salesman stops just short of saluting Ice as he rushes away. "Ooh...!" Zarah grins, rushing past Keng to pick up and cuddle a flawlessly black fur and satin bedding set. Its pillows are satin, and at the edges of everything are subtle, perfect patterns in embroidered gold. Stroking the black fur of the bedding Zarah's long snow leopard tail flicks back and fourth and wait for it.... she actually seems to be Purring. Their new servant hurries back, but not with carts or baskets... with a host of fellow staff, two females and four males. The original shop keeper jumps to attention behind Zarah, keeping out of the way of her tail. Two of the males step in behind Ice, one of them holding out his hands, offering to hold her selections. One of the females and another male step to attention behind Keng. The last female and male offer their assistance to Zari. Zarah looks up from snuggling her chosen bedding and grins at Ice "Note to be mindful of offering such options to men lusting after 500 grand" she winks and strolls off to choose a mattress. Disappearing into the isles, they soon hear a "Whee!" and see a Zarah like figure sailing into the air, jumping on beds like a child. ((XD I love playing Zarah XD))

((You kidding? I can't stand shopping in real life. I just want some bed sheets at least )) Keng accepted Zarah's explanation, and watched her run to the soft bedding with a midful expression. Then Zarah started jumping on the beds. It was at this point that Keng decided that the only thing you could expect from Zarah at any given moment was the unexpected, and just gave up with expecting anything at all from her. As she walked up to some possible bedding, ignoring the people who had suddenly run to her aid, it occured to her that with such unpredictablitly, it would be wise to always keep her head about her when with the strange character. Her fingers grazed over a few different materials of blankets, then stopped when she reached a synthetic polyester material that was quite furry. It was soft, and she'd had a blanket like this before, it was always so warm and fuzzy when you woke up in the morning. She grinned as she picked up a light blue one. Perfect. She carried it herself, then walked over to some of the matresses. There was a wide variety from spring mattresses and the old memory foam variety, to the newer electronic ones. She didn't like the teched out ones, sure they were comfortable as.. well, she really couldn't think of anything much more comfortable to lay on, but they creeped her out somehow, so she stayed away from them. Instead she tried out a few synthetic and a few organic materials with a more traditional design. She sat and on each one individually, then was pleasently surprised by one that was quite different. It was like sitting on a bed of especially thick and soft moss, but without any of the odd scratchy bits. Apon further inspection, it even smelt like moss. It was an artificial smell she could tell, but was a magnificant intimidation of the real thing. There were pillows made of the same strange material. She didn't know what it was called, but she as sold! "Could I please have one of these? And, do you guys have room delivary for big stuff like matresses and whatnot?" she asked one of her attendants. "Yes," responded the woman, "can't have people walking through the station with beds on their shoulders can we? There's actually a law against that now after numerous injuries that occured a few years ago when people kept getting knocked over whenever one turned the corner." Keng's reacting expression was one of disbelief, but as she would discover later when flipping through the rules, it actually was true. For now she just shrugged it of. "Exellent, how much will that be then?" The attendant looked at their wrist, which apparently had a built in scanner for the code ghips, and calculated, and told Keng the price. "Right, Glith, credit chip." the small gear-like device on Keng's own wrist spun into action and quickly provided kend with a small computer chip which she presented to the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper plugged the chip into her own wrist device, which then scanned Keng's eye, and the deal was done in less than 10 seconds.

Zari had located a cart, whick was already piled with blanket, a duvet, and several cushions, plus a tool set and a huge bookcase, all in shades of red, gold, brown, orange, and black, which Zaha was leaning against in an attempt to stop it from falling out. 'Nah, I'm fine. Hey, can I buy these?'

((Me too XD But our chars are probably a little bit.. girlier.. maybe.. possibly))
"Of course Ma'am," the assistant replies to Zari and sets them aside for delivery.
Zarah strolls back having chosen her mattress, bedding and all the rest of the things to personalize her room. Most of which are either in fur, dark timber or silk. The approximate cost of which totals to around $22 Grand. A swipe of a data disc pays across $250 grand, enough to cover the purchases of the others, as well as bribing the shop assistant to credit-bounce the others cash back to them in a few days to cover the fact she bought their items even if they asked her not to.
"You've been most helpful," she purrs at their shop assistant who stammers back, "a-any time. They'll be delivered by the time you get back to your rooms."
She turns with one of her famous smiles. Letting it rest on Keng for a moment or two, she hadnt missed the wary looks. "Everyone got what they need?" she asks in a cheerful voice.

((Neither me nor my char are shopaholics- with the exception of jewellry.))
Zari smiled at Zarah, while glancing over everyone else's choices. Fur? Some sort of Mossy material? Ah well. She looked over at her own shopping. Those cushions would make a nice nest to read in, of course she needed sheets and a duvet, desk, yes desk hummmm... Zari stopped her train of thought and turned to Ice 'Do you still want to come back to my room, or do you want to furnish yours first? I'm in 1164, if anyone wants to know.' she said, glancing at Zaha, who immediatley jumped onto her shoulder, balancing there with the grace of an acrobat.

((You do realize that Amneiger is far too paranoid to check his bank account's status just once every "few days," right? )) Amneiger saw movement in one of the more reflective book covers. He turned and looked out the bookstore's glass front into the furniture store just in time to see Zarah bouncing up and down. This was who was supposed to be buying their things for them? Just wierd. Where had she gotten the money from? Well, there was one place he could start looking, and that was a paper trail. Amneiger took his books to the cashier. "Could I have a receipt with these?" "Sure." The cashier handed him a receipt. "Thanks." Amneiger walked over to where Zarah was. "I hate to say this," he said in a lowered voice, "but I may need a bit of help paying for these." Amneiger was fairly certain that he could keep his salary a secret; anybody who dug far enough would notice a notation that he had traded part of his paycheck for benefits and should leave it at that. If they did manage to get enough numbers to calculate that he could actually afford his books, he'd just say that he had done his math badly and blame it on fatigue. He wasn't quite sure what he would be able to find out if Zarah put the money directly into his bank account, but there would be something.

((naw didnt put money in their accounts, just if they paid, had their credits bounce back to them in a few days.. unofficial refund hehe
*glad you all like the unpredictability thing*))
Zarah just nods, noting the subtle tone of his voice "I'll tell the cashier to take it out of the 250" she says in a low voice. There is an edge of understanding there too, shes been in his sort of position (or so she thinks) quite often. "Dont mention it... no, really, dont mention it" she winks, just for a moment there, there was an entirely different edge to her voice, it wasnt a threat but it was in the same ballpark

Amneiger nodded. "Right. Thanks." Well, that hadn't worked as well as planned. The money would be coming through the store clerks now, and inquiries about where they had gotten it from could draw attention. Well, he'd just have to use the Archives when he got to them. For the moment he looked through his purchases one more time; the book on the history of Spacefleet, the records of sword sales, and something called "The Complete Spacefleet Station Map." Amneiger thought he understood why he had received the less accurate map in his packet; there was no way a full version would have fit, and handing out electronic versions to everybody who came on board would probably have been too expensive.

Hades finished bargining for his computer systems, and arranged for them to be delivered to room 1046, but not installed. He would do that himself. Looking around, he saw the others in a different section, one filled with bedding. After a glance around the electronics section to make sure there was nothing he needed right away, Hades walked over to the others.
A single glance and Hades had chosen what to get. A simple pad, large enough to fit about half his room, a pillow, and two blankets, all in a neutral gray. He didn't bother to talk to the others, just continuing to the register. Finding an open one, he said, "One large mattress pad, half normal thickness, two blankets made of a smooth material, and a pillow. All in a mid-dark gray, please. And deliver them to room 1046."
"Yessir," the man said. "That will be 142 credits." Hades passed the credits over, watching the man's eyebrows raise at the name that came up. "Would you like a receit, sir?" The man asked. Hades nodded, taking the slip of paper and stuffing it in his pocket. He turned, and walked over to near the others, waiting to see if they'd notice him.

"Clothes!" she grins.. she sure doesnt need them, but she'd heard rumors about females 'bonding' over stuff like this.
This peace for her was not going to last long, she was certain of that. And when it ended, it would pay to have as many allies as possible. Him included she thinks while looking over Hades "Well, are you going to stand there looking lonely or are you going to join us?"
