((nope, in the time it took her to get to the ceremony hall, shes basically 'pulled herself together'.. give or take eyes changing colour every now and then.. and yea sorta but regardless of hunger or pain, mainly it just takes strict concentration for her to stick to one shape, a skill she definitely lacked when she came to. Shes getting the hang of it again now though, not perfect, but passable ) Zarah stares at Amneiger the way a cat stares at moving prey just before pouncing.. Jumbled and scattered memories try to place his face in her head but the search returns a frustrating no result. She continues to stare, inclining her head this way and that, determined to figure it out.

((Ah Okay than.)) Amneiger glanced around the room again. There was still no sign of an officer coming along with give them their promotions, and the audience was getting restless. He looked into the audience, going back and forth through the rows, until he saw a familiar face. Zarah! Isn't she dead? What's she doing here? And why's she looking like that at me? I can't tell the others what I've seen right up here in front of all these people, everybody's going to try to get a look then. On the other hand, most of these people seem too distracted with their own business to be looking at the stage...Amneiger nudged Zari's foot and motioned with his eyes towards Zarah.

Bacon stood as still as he could, looking at all the different faces in the crowd. He coughed a little as he noticed a girl near the front whose eyes were changing colors. He shrugged inwardly, supposing that it was only about as weird as Fraze's skinsuit or Ice's molecular structure, neither of which he had any explanation for. He continued scanning the crowd, momentarily stopping on familiar faces like Silna and the nurse that had explained Ethan's amnesia.

Zari did a 360 and looked in the direction Amnei was indicating. Crap. 'Zarah.' she murmured. "I though' she died. Funny that.'

Keng was also quick to spot Zarah, but unlike the others she felt no need to contain her surprise. In fact her eyes bulged wide open and without a word she began weaving her way through the crowd towards her.

Her ears twist towards Zari upon the mention of her name, followed by her eyes and then her head, she also sees near to Zari a girl who looks like she's just swallowed a frog.
Meep! Who are these people?! and more importantly..... why does that girl smell like a puppy...?Eeep! Shes coming over here! She spins around but finds herself blocked by the crowd, frantically she looks for an escape but finds no options.

Amneiger watched as Zarah tried to force her way through the crowd. What is she doing?
((Puppy? xD Is it a cute puppy?
Also, LIFE.))

((Okay, one of three things need to happen here:
A. We continue the roleplay where it is. B. We timeskip to a few days later. C. We start a new roleplay.
Personally, I'm rather fond of choice C.
I mean, seriously, this roleplay's had a good run, and let's face it, it pretty much died somewhere between "Keng listened to the announcement..."(Page 94) and "...through the crowd. What is she doing?"(last post).))

Although since the Knights and Mercenaries are still running their own roleplays this might not be a good argument...

((Hmm. Personally, I'm with Bacon. We've kind of hit a standstill, and I don't think it's entirely because of GW2. No one is really sure where to take the RP next. I'd like to start a new RP, maybe one some time after GW2. The obvious problem with that, of course, is that we still don't know where GW will go. Amneiger's minitanks could receive some magical upgrade from a friendly mage, Strife's leech gun may be annihilated completely, Bacon may get a bionic arm with a special appendage that allows him to steal quarters from pinball machines. Therefore, if we choose to make it post-GW, we'd probably have to do some retconning to make things match up. It's still the option I like best, though.
If it's not too early to start planning, I'd kind of like the next mission to take place either in Spacefleet HQ, or very far from it. I've got a few ideas rolling around in the fluff in my head that I think might be interesting.))

The reason I haven't been interested in the current RP is because it's now inconsistant with the GW2 timeline, so if we were to continue this RP, we would have to constantly remind ourselves that it takes place before all of the GW2 events. xD; But anyway, i'm keen on starting an official Spacefleet RP once GW2 has come to a close. ^_^ I rather like the idea of it taking place away from Spacefleet HQ. So far, i've come up with a few possible scenarios for the next RP... - Spacefleet discovers a strange new world, far away from the NTWF, and decides to explore it. Depending on whether or not The Commander is still corrupt/power-hungry after GW2, his reason for the exploration may or may not be to conquer the planet. - A killer virus spreads across Spacefleet HQ that begins turning officers into zombies, causing an outbreak that leaves the senior officers in a struggle for survival. - After an uneventual couple of months, a huge swarm of meteors suddenly makes its way towards NTWF, and it's up to Spacefleet to find out where they came from... and to stop them before they turn the planet into an asteroid field. In this case, perhaps some of the smaller meteors can actually land on the surface in uninhabited areas of the planet, and upon landing, sprout wierd forms of alien life that are intent on eating our faces. x) - After a freak experiment, a portal to an alternate dimension is opened within Spacefleet HQ, and the fleeters must fend off hordes of demons before they invade planet NTWF. *did not get this idea from the Doom series <.<* Again, these are just ideas that I came up with in the past 10 minutes or so. ^_^))

I did have this incomplete idea planned out for after the awards ceremony, so I might as well throw it out here: (1.) Trading ship from another station arrives. Oddly enough, it's empty. (2.) We go to investigate the station. (3.) We find that the station looks like it's been abandoned for at least fifty years or so, with rust and broken machinery everywhere - odd since their last transmission to us was a week ago and everything was fine then. (4.) The engines of the ship we used to get here mysteriously asplode. (5.) We find out - somehow - that there's this nigh-unkillable monster on the station. (6.) *insert plot here* (7.) Monster dies, the ship is fixed, everybody's happy. (8.) Scene with an Omniscient Council of Vagueness discussing their disappointment at the performance of their superweapon. (Term comes from here: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheOmniscientCouncilOfVagueness)Um, yeah. >> Not really all that good. And Strife's last suggestion has inspired me to suggest that we ally with a rogue half-mad AI to find a way to escape the closure of the universe while fighting off slavers, the AI's evil twin and a chaos god. *totally not from the Marathon series <.<*

((Bacon may get a bionic arm with a special appendage that allows him to steal quarters from pinball machines.)) ((Oh, most definitely not. The bionic part, not the quarter part. I'd give my (persona's) life before I become more machine than man. No offense, all ye cyborgs. I myself have a few ideas for the new roleplay, but mostly it's just how I can retire 'Fleet Clint(let's face it, he's nowhere near as interesting a character as he could be) and after Clint leaves, Bacon finds that their backstories are intertwined in an unexpected way, and Clint knew so all along. I won't say any more than that because I want you to be surprised. I was surprised when I thought it up and it made sense.))

((I also thought is was mostly slow because of GW2. I thought that we were going to start a new RP after the promotion ceremonies in this one as well [probably leaving it open in case someone wants to do one last ending-post]. I say we just RP the promotions, some optional end-of-this-episode-y stuff, and then start a new RP after GW2 is finished. Three of Strife's suggestions sound like stuff from Stargate to me. Amnei's sounds like Star Trek [plus misc. fantasy whatnot]. ))

((So what's the final verdict? Start a new one or wait till after GW2?
Oh, and I forgot, we still have three major enemies out there (two Laketan commanders and Hrothgar) that may or may not team up against us. I think an invasion of Spacefleet HQ by a joint force of Laketans and Togorians and possibly some other species too, might make an interesting story arc.))
