"Well, are you going to stand there looking lonely or are you going to join us?"
Hades arched his eyebrows. "It's not like I need to buy anything more than I already have," he said. "I brought an adequate supply of clothing, and anything else I can buy later when I actually need it. But, as I have nothing else to do, I will join you." He walked over, adding, "And I am not lonely. I am just used to being an outcast because of my implants. And because of... certain things that I would rather not discuss."

"Well dont we feel special" she grins, teasing "one cannot continue to settle for what theyve always known, I have a feeling theres no such thing as an outcast at this station... And just so long as youre not going to go Terminator on us, I kind of like having you around," she winks and pats his shoulder.
"Oh no! The deliveries! we're going to miss them! Come on!" she turns and starts to run. Zarah oddness strikes again.

((So if Zarah's figured out that Amneiger is snooping, I'm guessing he's going to have to be just a little bit cautious from now on. )) "Um. Bedding." Amneiger paused for a moment. "Just a minute." He went over to a register. "One standard size mattress, with one pillow and blanket of same size. In white please, for delivery to room 1180. And a receipt too please." "Sure thing," replied the cashier. "130 credits please." Amneiger handed him a credit chip, which the cashier swiped and handed back. Amneiger walked back and was just in time to hear Hades mention that there were things he would rather not discuss." If he doesn't want to talk about them, why is he bringing them up?At this point Zarah began running around. "...Shouldn't you give the deliveries time to get to our rooms first?"

((Bonding with someone over clothes? XD I think that may be true for my char, but not for me...I highly dislike clothes shopping. But not my char. ))
'Zarah, we don't have to be there as they arrive. There's time, and plenty of it. Hades, we all have our differences. I have mine, A few of which I'd rather didn't exist, but I talk about them because for me It makes it easier.' Zari narrowed her eyes 'If yoy must b'there for the deliveries, we can find a place to meet and continiue this odd little gathering most call a shopping spree.' she said. But despite her slightly sardonic manner, she was actually enjoying being around other people, learning, and actually having a life outside the safe illusion she had conjured to keep her sanity.

((XD same here, I Hate clothes shopping.. usually my chars are like me, with Zarah Im trying something different. Amneiger- Zarah is unusual. She doesnt know what hes up to, but she figures hes up to something, he hasnt been acting very friendly or trusting so shes just watching her back and trying to look natural while doing it )) Zarah closes her ears to the talk about differences, and hisses fiercely at the voice in the back of her head before it can make a comment. "But.. but.." she sort of pouts "Alright.. I'll meet up with you all later, I.." she thinks quickly "changed the lock on my room, the delivery folks wont be able to get in, and Im sure not carrying it all into my room on my own." Without waiting, she runs away. It had only just occurred to her that the delivery staff may find it slightly unusual to find an entirely blank room.. as in, no luggage.. just a highly recognizable suit of armor, and a dozen sets of expensive and extremely rare weapons. Oh dear.

Amneiger stared after Zarah, looking amazed. "Huh," he said.
Let's see here. Assume that Zarah actually has changed the lock on her door. This would be a fairly radical thing to do, since now we have a member altering the station's security network. Zarah will have effectively created an area inside Spacefleet areas that is outside the control of normal Spacefleet authority. If the occupants chose not to let people in, forced entry would require either assault or waiting for those inside to run out of food; both would be rather messy to say the least. Strife probably knows better than to let anybody do that unless they were a high ranking and very well trusted member who has been around for a while. Zarah said that she was a mercenary, which means that she's an entry-level combat class member who probably arrived not too long ago; no way she could have permission to do this. So either she's done something illegal or she's lying.
Amneiger let that thought sit for a moment.
All right, assume that Zarah did not change the lock on her door. Then what is she so worried about? If she didn't change the lock, then the delivery team will be able to get into her room. If they're in her room, they'll be able to look around. And if they look around, they'll find something. Something Zarah doesn't want them to find.
Amneiger looked around.
This shopping district looks rather busy, so the delivery people would be getting at least some workload. They probably have to do deliveries for other parts of the station as well, so they'll be busy; too busy to do things like search a room for contraband. Anything hidden in a box, closet, or drawer will probably remain hidden unless said box, closet, or drawer is in the way. So whatever Zarah's trying to hide would be either out in the open or very easy to find.
So what is in there? There's not enough information to figure it out from here, and I'm certainly not chasing after her hoping for a peek. So I guess I'll have to wait.
Amneiger shook his head. "That was just wierd," he said to the others. "So...now what?"

Hades shied away from Zarah. He wasn’t used to being touched by other humanoids, even less so now than before his implants. Listening to the others talk, he almost shook his head in amazement. The first thing he had done, upon arrival, was familiarize himself with the station. He didn’t gotten everywhere yet, but eventually, he would. These people were more concerned about comfort than safety.
"That was just weird," Amneiger said. "So...now what?"
“Now? Unless there is a more pressing concern, I am going to wait for the computer system I bought in my room.” Hades began walking off in the same direction Zarah had run. “You are welcome to come with me if you wish, though I doubt that I would be very interesting to converse with.”

((Shade, Hades can arrive any time during this if you like )) Zarah, by pure chance, arrives at her room and keys the lock mere minutes before the delivery team arrive. "Thank you," she flashes her most charming smile at the delivery boy. Poor kid never stood a chance, "I'll take it from here." "But.." the boy looks at the hover tray, the bed alone weighs at least 4 times what the relatively petite form of Zarah could possibly hope to lift. "Its heavy" is all he manages to say. "Im sure it is, but I think I can manage." The boy continues to stand there... Zarah's smile fades and for the briefest moment her eyes flash a feline green. "Run along," she growls, and like a startled rabbit, the boy leaves the tray and hurries off. You sure have a way with peopleZarah hisses aloud at the voice, baring fangs that certainly weren't there a moment ago, and with that she drags the hover tray into her room, the door slides shut with a bang.

Hades passed Zarah’s room just as she disappeared in to it with a heavily loaded hoverboard. Past the large amount of bedding, he caught a glimpse of odd looking armour. It seemed familiar somehow, but he couldn’t quite place it. But Zarah was, in general, weird, so it didn’t seem to much out of place.
Hades continued to his own rooms, a ways down the hall, and sitting outside his door was a large package, sitting on a hoverboard. A touch, and he knew that it was his computer system. Unlocking his door, Hades pulled the box inside and began to open it. The installation, which would take hours for most, would take him only half an hour, for he had plenty of practice setting it up.
As he set the parts of the computer around the corner he had mentally designated for it, he heard the door to his room slide open, and he heard the quiet hum of a hoverboard. “Sir?” a tentative voice asked. “Your order?”
“Just leave it here,” Hades said absently. “I’ll take care of it later.” The hoverboard gave a whine as it shut off, landing on the ground. The door closed a second later, and Hades was once again alone with his equipment.

Zari walked towards her room, humming to herself. When she arrived out side her room, she found the unfortunate delivery boy face-to-face with an unfinished project- A cleaning robot who refused to be known by any name other than Gak. 'GAK! STOP SCARING THE POOR GUY!' she shouted, startling the robot. 'Let him in, Gak, or I'll reprogram you to become a kids toy.' the robot let out a loud 'Mwark!' and scurried off. 'Sorry about Gak, it's a little bit paranoid.' she grabbed the hoverboard and shut it off, removing her stuff from it and placing it on the floor. 'Hello?' 'Yes?' Zari looked around, her eyes resting on her wristcomputer 'Dani here. Found anything, at all?' 'Nup. Zaha and this thing throw up Zilch. Any luck on your end?' 'Sion. Not a trace, just that paper. Let's hope no-one throws water at you, this whole investigation would have to be shut down.' 'Tza, I see. I'll check back later.'

((I know I god-moded you, Tiri. Sorry about that. If you want me to edit then I will.))
*THUMP*
"What the..?"
*EEEEEEEEE*
X sat straight up from his bed and cocked his head to the adjacent wall. He could here loud movements & lots of cracking in the next room. Something was either getting to blow up or there was a lot of packages to deliver today. He took the cautionary option to this situation and cocked his magnum which was still in his belt pouch. Moving quickly to the door he opened the door & closed it just as softly.
The hall was pretty much empty and he flattened himself against the wall beside the neighboring door. He raised his arm, pointing the gun in a careful stance at the ceiling. His shaggy, white hair and soul patch were matted to his face from the sweat he had been drenched in during his sleep. He wore no shirt, but grey sweatpants tied tightly around his thin waist. His equally sweaty & muscular chest heaved slowly, up & down, as X slowed donw his respiration.
He decided to count to three and then open the now closed door. He breathed in & out keeping himself calm to expect the unexpected. First biker bandits causing trouble, then a mysterious and almost-obnoxious female ordered him around. He wasn't sure if this trip had been worth it. He almost wanted to forget about the noises & go back to sleep, living with the noisy boarder next door. But then again...
3...
*CREEEEEAK*
2...
*SHOOOOOM*
1...
*THUNK*
He slammed the weak points on the side corner, door handle, inside hinges placement, and the center as hard as he could. Which was pretty hard. The door collapsed forward, just missing a hovercart with multiple containers on it & a suprised, familiar-looking woman. The gun was pointing directly at her face, but didn't disguise the fact that she was indeed the same person he had met earlier during the day. Zarah?
"You!"

Keng, who had also politely excused herself to meet up with the delivery guy, (really she just wanted to get away from the shopping mall) was in the hallway walking along with afore mentioned deliery guy having a friendly chat with him before their conversation was rudely interrupted by a loud crash up ahead. "What was that?" asked the delivary guy, who name just so happened to actually be Guy... no, not that Guy. "Nothing good I'll bet." responeded Keng with an eye roll. "Stay here, I'll check it out, you know, just in case." She took out her weapon and approached the door. She hear a familiar voice, she couldn't place it, but she'd heard it recently, say "You!" from the open door. She couldn't see inside, all she could spot from where she stood was hinges. That's odd... my door slides open. she thought to herself. She did not approach further, instead deciding to wait a moment and listen in to try to get a picture of what she was dealing with, and try to place that voice.

Amneiger shrugged. "Well, I don't have a better idea, so I suppose I'll go back to my room too."
Once he got back Amneiger put his purchases on his desk and sat down. What was he going to do tomorrow? Right, go to the lab, unpack the minitanks, do some work, and sometime after that start on the Archives. Good.
With that Amneiger fell onto his bed and almost immediately fell asleep, missing the start of the commotion outside.

((O.o "you!" = zarah or zari? *got confused by your occ post* I'll edit if you didnt mean zarah))
Only just inside her room, her back turns to the door, busy untying the bonds that hold the items to the tray. Suddenly of their own accord her ears flick forward and she freezes.. was that a footstep outside her door?
CRACK! The hinges snap away from the door, barely a second later the door falls inwards, just barely missing the hover tray. The instincts of years allow her to react instantly, before the door even hits the floor she has taken cover behind the tray and thick mattress.
Peering cautiously around the edge of the tray, her left wrist has shot up to cover her. An impressively technological wrist band covers part of her forearm.. it holds the same fatal toxic darts that she fired at the bikers earlier in the day.
"You!"
At the same moment that X recognizes her face, she also gets a good look at the intruder "You!" she snarls. No one can snarl better than a very cranky, very surprised, anthro snow leopard. She had only just stopped herself from shifting into a Nexu, he would never know how lucky he was... That is, if he had survived the three very-nearly-automatically-launched fatally venomous toxic darts.. which are still aimed at his throat. "What in blazes do you think youre doing?!"

A loud thump interrupted Hades, and he looked up from the parts scattered around him. What was that? A muffled cry followed, and Hades stood up, careful not to disturb any of the parts he had placed. One hand on the hilt of his laser, Hades opened the door and looked in to the hall.
He saw Keng and X, standing near Zarah’s door. Hades ran, as quietly as he could, over to them, in time to hear Zarah say, "What in blazes do you think you’re doing?!"
“Would someone please tell me what is going on?” Hades asked, his voice calm, a sharp contrast to Zarah. "And X, why are you pointing a gun at Zarah? As far as I know, she has done nothing to warrant that."
