Pyro nodded in answer to Wolf's request, watching the knight hurry off to the war room. There was no question in Pyro’s mind that she would join the other Knights there once she had seen that the boy was well cared for. That was her first task, then, the more quickly accomplished and she could move on to her second…finding out what she could do to help protect the Knights. Pyro knelt on one knee before Jonathan, trying to bring herself down to his level.
It had been a long time since she’d dealt with any children, though of course she was only a few years past a child herself, and she felt wholly incapable of making the boy feel at ease. Pyro wasn’t even good with people, forget about children she didn’t know…
“Jonathan,” she said, trying to keep her voice low so she wouldn’t startle the boy, “I’m Pyro. Why don’t we head along to the kitchen, then, and see if we can find you some food?” It sounded like SILE agreed with the plan, and while Pyro was waiting for Jonathan’s response, she turned to Lady Emma. “Emma, you’re coming with us, right? And SILE—will both of you go to the war room, or will you remain in the kitchen…?”
She hoped that the two others would either accompany her or stay with Jonathan. The flight of the kestrel earlier had a clear meaning and now the silent summons Wolf seemed to have received, calling him to the war room? That was hardly coincidence. It would not be wise to have two new Knights wandering around the castle if danger was lurking nearby.

((Zari said South. Her informant got the information from southeast Xenam where it joins southwest Dunburrow.))
Zari rubbed her head. Food. She hadn't eaten enough at breakfast, so maybe she should head down to the kitchens. She prodded the prone form in the corner with one foot. Holy groaned. 'Sleep with an eye open.' she advised. Holly muttered something and opened one eye. She nodded. 'Good girl.'
--
Zari had come into the kitchen intending to grab some food and go, but one particularly fierce cook insisted she sit down and eat that way, not in the least intimidated by the Knights mood. Zari mentally debated drawing a map of the Dunburrow-Xenam join to show where the trouble was and discarded it. It might bring up awkward questions.

“Ladies SILE, Emma, Pyro... Would you mind walking Jonathan to get a snack from the kitchens? I’ve got to run to the war room, but if... but if any of you would like to join us, you may send him back to my quarters with a servants after he's gotten some food and join us then.”
War Room? Emma wondered what would cause the king to head to the war room now, of all times. Was something wrong?
“Emma, you’re coming with us, right? And SILE—will both of you go to the war room, or will you remain in the kitchen…?”
Pyro's words shook her thoughts back to the present. "Er, yes, I'm coming. I'll head to the war room afterwards, unless Jonathan needs someone to stay with him." She turned towards the boy. He looked startled, a bit confused. "I'm Lady Emma. What're you hungry for?" she said warmly, trying to comfort him.

"SILE—will both of you go to the war room, or will you remain in the kitchen…?”
SILE started to talk much faster than before, her hunger bringing her patience to the test. "The latter, I say. To accompany Jonathan towards the culinary room is the order which our king had given us, and we shall abide by it", she said, her right hand now placed in front of her exposed tummy.

Jonathan looked up at Pyro and Emma as they introduced themselves. "I, um..." He didn't know what kind of food he wanted, actually. All he'd eaten with Sir Ruadhan for the past three or four days since they'd left Glen Oak had been preserved meats and fruit cakes, and neither tasted particularly good eaten for days straight. Then again, neither tasted particularly good when eaten just once, either.
His stomach rumbled and he wanted to taste his mother's shepherd's pie again. She usually made it for dinner, and he knew it was only nearing lunchtime now, but still. Then he remembered what had happened, and he looked down and felt tears gathering in his eyes.
Sir Ruadhan said he had to be strong, what had happened had to happen for the wellness of Glen Oak, but it still hurt inside....
"Eggs," he said, "I want eggs." He crossed his arms and looked down so his hair covered his eyes. He didn't want them to see him crying. He had to be strong. He had to be strong.

SILE was startled at another sound of a stomach grumbling. She looked around, finding out the source was very near to her. A message then gave her the answer.
"Eggs. I want eggs."
SILE watched Jonathan cross his arms and cock his head downwards. He seemed to be avoiding eye contact with all the knights around him. She thought he could not resist the hunger anymore.
"Oh, young one," she pitied, though not too much. "You must be famished. The colorization of your skin had etiolated. We must be moving on, I say..."
She started to take a few steps forward, but suddenly stopped to look around. This time, she turned back to her cohorts, retaining the strange smile she had earlier.
"I must say, the location of the culinary room had not been introduced to my ken," she uttered. "Does someone among us contain the information that could lead us to our set destination?"

Thinking he had gone back the way he had come, Sir Bacon realized he was now lost; the castle had turned into a labyrinth. "Hello?" he asked to anyone around, but there was no answer. "HELLO?!" He repeated louder. The sky was dark grey and the walls were black. "What's happened here?" He asked himself.
"This is the end." A voice behind him said. He turned, finding only a familiar horse.
"Lyardel? What is this?!" Sir Bacon demanded. He knew it was a dream, and he had little patience for visions.
The horse laughed. "I am not your steed, foolish human. I am the Arbiter of Time." The walls of the castle crumbled, and the horizon was only black. The grass grew grey and withered, decomposing in seconds."I brought you here to show you. This is the end of the world."
"But why are you doing this?!" Sir Bacon demanded.
The horse-like being snorted, "Do you not sense it? This day comes quickly! But it doesn't have to... You can stop it, you can all stop this!"
"HOW?!" The Porc Knight screamed.
"The man that killed your Riasa-Calleo brethren, he comes! Night approaches and his horse rides quickly!" The Arbiter shreiked in reply.

Sir Fuzz walked down a hill toward a group of knights. "Hello! What are you doing?" Fuzz asked looking at the group of five. "Can I be of any help?" He sat down on a log near the group and cleaned his pike off. "What do people do around here when we aren't training, eating, or fighting?" He asked not knowing what to do.

((Minor godmoding of Pyro and SILE. Sorry.))
"Eggs. I want eggs," said Johnathan finally.
"I'm sure the cooks will make you some. Now, we just need to get there." Emma began to follow SILE, and then nearly aran into her when she stopped.
"I must say, the location of the culinary room had not been introduced to my ken. Does someone among us contain the information that could lead us to our set destination?" said SILE.
Emma smiled slyly, thinking of her wanderings before breakfeast. "I've got a basic idea. I think it's thataway," she said, pointing and beginning to walk slowly in that direction.
Between the three knights, the group managed to make their way to the kitchens without too much difficulty. The kitchen was not very busy - breakfeast was over, and it wasn't quite time for lunch yet. "Now," she said to Johnathan, "let's get you some food.

Kat was sound asleep. She found herself sleeping much more than usual - which was good, as she needed the extra energy. Although practically the only magic she was allowed to do was light candles, the knight-mage practiced behind healers' backs with a few more complicated spells, such as summoning objects.
Turning over, she continued to doze, unaware of a black cat heading down the corridor that led to the infirmary.

Zari's head turned when she heard some of her fellows enter the kitchen. She turned back to her plate, allowing a curtain of brown hair to fall over her face. She was certain her fellows would ask awkward questions about what she did in the city, and why she disappeared again. Her wing was still itching. she unfolded it partway to move a feather to a more comfortable position.

((Can I join in somewhere?))
Sir Fuzz walked down a path towards the castle. He walked into the castle and roamed down the halls aimlessly. "What should I do?" He pondered to himself walking through the castle.

((OK! *Heads off to find some peoples*)) Skivv walked into the kitchen seeing other knights he greeted them. "Hi! I'm the new knight!" He said a big grin on his face. "What you doing?"

"Only King Wolf's sword can kill him..." The so-called 'Arbiter of Time' continued, "Because of certain chemical and magical substances in it, that I don't want to go into right now, but Wolf can, naturally, not face this dangerous man alone."
"Why are you telling me this? I've only just arrived, I am a nobody to these people." Sir Bacon replied, confused.
The Arbiter of Time snorted, "First, you know the man's face, and, to a point, his strengths and weaknesses." A flash of light and Bacon saw the dreaded man's head again, but only for a half of a second. "Second, you may not know them now, but these knights are your new brethren, and they will listen to you."
And then the castle walls grew back, and the grass was green and the sky blue. Now go to the kitchen... you will find some of the others there. The Arbiter's voice called out, although he was no longer visible. Even though he hadn't known where it was before, Bacon headed straight to the kitchen. "Hello... I don't beleive I know all of you." He said, noting Jonathan and Fuzz mostly.
