"Well," said Bettyming, "there was an 'problem', that nearly jeopardized us. You see, Jernath was acused of killing a child, and nearly killing the mother of said child. So... there was a little tension, but hopefully, we're done with the matter, and we can focus on the priority of finding that rogue." She sighed. "Every day that I don't find her... I feel like I die a little inside..." Bettyming put her katana in a khaki backpack (that she had the whole time but forgot to mention when introducing herself). Suddenly, the woman who had been screaming burst through the door. "AND JUST WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!?!?"

"We were going to leave," SRGNG told the woman. "You know, go kill the rogue ninja, report back to our superiors once we're done, fun stuff like that."
Jernath sighed. He had the feeling he wouldn't get out of this so easily. "Look, I'm sorry about what happened, but I'm not responsible for it. I wish there was a way I could prove it to you..."

"Wait a minute..." said Bettyming, talking to herself. This woman looked familiar. Too familiar. She was short. She had black hair. She had a scar on her left arm. Another scar on her right eyelid. "You... I've finally found you..."

PFA watched interestedly as Bettyming started looking at the woman, as if she had knew her from somewhere. As Bettyming looked over the woman, PFA started looking over her as well. This woman had some scars, which didn't look like scars one would get from farming equipment. And...
Black hair.
"Uhhh... Uncle?" PFA grimaced, slowly reaching for a kunai. If this person was who she thought it was, then... well, this wasn't good.

"You..." said Bettyming. Her voice had anger, sadness, and revenge within it. "Ten long years. Ten long painful years of searching and waiting. And I've found you. Don't you remember me, Kaiyashun Akuma? The one that got away?"
"How do you know who I am?!?" screamed the woman. In her rage, she whipped out a long, damaged katana. She looked how she took it out, and quickly hid it.
"I lost everything because of you, you coward. Now you will pay with your life."

Cat Assassin glared at the same woman who chased them all the way from the forest. PFA and Bettyming might've recognized this, but her physical appearance matched that of the rogue ninja. Some rage exchanges with her and Bettyming showed that they both know each other, and that they seemed to hate each other too.
Cat Assassin stepped between the woman and Bettyming, not intimidated by their katanas. "Stop it, both of you!" Cat Assassin shouted firmly. "I don't know how intensely angry you two are right now and I probably don't give a heck about it, but if you want to kill each other, I won't allow it."
Of course, Cat Assassin had experiences encountering uncooperative people. He heightened his senses and got himself alert just in case.

"But... what about... Kaiyashun... she's..." Bettyming trailed off. She kept an eye on Kaiyashun, watching to see if she would try to do anything. She did seem suspicious, the way her eyes gleamed. It was the gleam of a psychopath. Bettyming felt uncomfortable around her. She knew that she was untrustworthy, and that she listened to no one. Then she saw it. On a pocket on the skirt, she fingered the shape of a shurikan. It was the trademark shape of their clan , too, a hawk. She subtly and slowly pulled it out, quickly glancing at everyone in the room. Bettyming's pupils dilated in a sudden realization of what was about to happen next. Someone was going to be shurikan'd. "LOOK OUT!"

((Sorry for not tending to this RP a bit))
Cat Assassin sighed as he delivered a quick punch to the woman's stomach, rendering her completely paralyzed for quite awhile and stopping her from causing more trouble. It was a rather easy task, considering that he was already standing between the two ladies, and with his expertise at stunning people he just felt like his body moved as an impulsive reaction.
When the woman fell down, the cat noticed something from her hand and, after catching the woman on his shoulders, dropped down to pick up the unusually-shaped object she dropped. It was a shuriken shaped like a hawk, and the design was rather elusive to him.
"... Now this was easy," Cat Assassin commented. "Rather too easy." He then turned towards Bettyming, the unconscious woman now being piggybacked by him. "You seem to know this girl. A lot. Care to elaborate?"

"Yes. This is Kaiyashun Akuma, part of the former Raptor Clan, known for studying pressure points, genetics, psychokinetic cell manipulation, and how everyone's body works. Apparently, after, *ahem* 'borrowing'," Bettyming made hand quotations, "money from the owner of the grocery store, in order to buy bigger and better weapons for herself, the owner found out. The debt was about... at least $20,000. Apparently, it was a long and elaborate scheme, that had been going on for years. So anyway, now she was in debt, and our funds were almost empty. Using her high-ranking position, she managed to sell some of our best-kept secrets to *shudder* pirates, which resulted in numerous defeats. They seemed to anticipate us when we were going to attack, and it looked like they were using some of our strategies. So, I looked around, and found sacks full of money hidden in ventilation systems, fireplaces, and other places no one would expect. I did what anyone would do, I told the superiors about what happened, and eventually, we gave her the boot. But one week later, after attending the funeral of my best friend, Shenjin Namazu, who was killed in one of the attacks on the pirates, I was returning to our headquarters, only to find the whole building on fire, and all the doors locked. Oh, and about the shuriken, that shape was our trademark. I think there was some sort of story about our founder watching a hawk catch it's prey or something. "

"Wait, selling secrets to the pirates?" SRGNG blinked. "Isn't that what you said the rogue did?"
"The rogue?" Jernath narrowed his eyes. "Are you telling me that this woman is the ROGUE? The same one we've been chasing all this time?!"
"Jernath, wait!" PFA yelped as the archer pulled out his bow and aimed an arrow at the woman's throat.
"What for?!" he demanded. "Give me one good reason not to kill her where she is now and end this madness once and for all!"

"... Because she's NOT the rogue ninja we're looking for."
Cat Assassin stared directly into the eyes of Jernath. "... The rogue ninja has destroyed two ninja guilds, raided a local town all by herself, captured one of Zaha's relatives and even managed to poison me the other night. By the sound of that, the chances of this woman being the rogue ninja we're looking for is slim, considering that I just knocked her out with a single blow."
The cat then returned his attention towards Bettyming. "Still, I will not allow you to kill this woman, and that goes for everyone around here, too. Unless someone comes up with a good resolution to all this, we'll leave this woman here on the village and resume with our journey," he breathed out, slightly expecting some retort from Bettyming due to not permitting ther to do whatever she wanted. The ninjas were there to chase after a killing machine, not to watch.

Zaha blinked. Everything had happened so fast. "It's possible this woman could simply be an ally or a decoy for the real problem. I suspected older, with faster reflexes and some dodge skill. Xora Mistra wasn't a relative- we share no blood, although she raised me. I don't think this is the rogue, personally. This could all be a cover." She crouched and took out a throwing star.
After a short silence, she added "This sells fish, figuratively. Any smart rogue would just burst in- they'd hide and wait and discern our weaknesses- then strike like a viper. Smooth, clean, no noise nor fuss. Them villagers wouldn't know we were dead."

Jernath hesitated, but then lowered his bow, letting out an exasperated sigh. "Well, if this isn't the rogue, then who is?"
"I don't know..." PFA admitted, looking over to the unconscious woman. "But maybe she does."
PFA fingered the kunai she had been reaching for earlier. If this woman had been brought in by the rogue to bring the ninjas' guard down, as Zaha briefly mentioned, then perhaps she could be questioned. Not that PFA was any good at questioning, but they had to find the rogue somehow.

Though the thought of interrogating Kaiyashun might've been the right thing for them to be able to continue their search, Cat Assassin began to doubt about the woman's credibility. Right now, she was becoming that of the rogue ninja's cohorts, but they could not force herself too much in fear of inciting a riot among the incoming townspeople.
The townspeople! Cat Assassin had nearly forgotten!
"Shoot, they're coming back quickly. We have to move, and carry this woman with us," he spat out, almost disgusted when he said that last phrase. If the townspeople would find out that Kaiyashun was missing, they might accuse the ninjas of abducting her.
Well, at least it was better than leaving a suspect in a defenseless town, he thought.

We can assume that Jakie fell asleep standing up during the events that took place. It's just easier that way. The cat-human started awake and glanced around. "Um.." She said softly, but no one seemed to take any notice of her. "Are we leaving then?" She said cheerfully. She stared at the very unfamiliar and very unconscious woman on the ground. "Is that..?" She didn't finish her sentence.
