Hey all. I am once again Very Very Busy. Two more final exams, both in math. One's an in-class final, and one's a take-home final. I still need to study for the in-class one (note that, for me, "studying for a math final" means "spend anywhere from 15-30 hours madly banging out one problem after another from the textbook until equations start crystallizing in my brain and theorems spill out my nose), and I still have to start on the take-home (I know from experience that take-home math finals can be expected to last 5-10 hours). Then I have to finish moving out of my apartment. That's mostly done, I just have a few items of clothing, my computer (laptop and monitor, plus wires), some food, assorted small ephemera, and stuff I intend to give away (including kitchenware, meaning I'll probably let go of all but a plate, a bowl, a cup, and a set of utensils). And it's summer and I'm in the desert, and I haven't asked to have my swamp cooler turned on. At this point I don't think I will. My final final (oh, how I love the sound of that) is late morning/early afternoon my time on the 15th, and I fly back home shortly after that. Don't get your hopes up for any posts from me before then.
I expect a lot of other people here are in the same boat, so good luck to us all!

Anyone who takes "So This is Beauty and a Whole New Heaven's Song Upon a Dream Tonight" and manages to figure out all the songs I used gets points.
Anyone who then turns those songs into a coherent love song wins my eternal slavery. <3

Whichever way it goes, I can work with it; when all else fails, there's flashbacks. Linear plots get boring in the long run anyway. And if beating with badgers was a sign of twue wuv, all those cheesy romance novels would be a heckuvalot funner to read x3 Except maybe for the badgers. |
