[glow=red,2,300]So... who's doing what with Speck? Did I miss something big?[/glow] Wait, I thought security already caught Speck? In the first timeline, security eventually arrested Speck, so they'd know what she was going to do. So when everybody was sent back in time, they'd know to arrest the second Speck preemptively. ...Except I just remembered that original Speck and one of the Lerayes are still heading towards the research lab. >_> Maybe a post for those two is in order? I remember locking the door to the research lab, although I don't remember if I've turned on the security systems yet.

Yeah, since the RP got so slow, I myself can't remember for the life of me what we have done and what we haven't, and the timeskip isn't helping x'D *still can't figure out whether or not Hunty brought the Sue-Sword*
Consequently, the demon-attack has been pending for what, two months now, should probably bring them in to at least put some more acshun and tension in the general atmosphere, ne?

Zylaa, I think 'Tratta would be highly offended at your insinuation that he is rabid. Were he rabid, I'm sure he would tell you so in plain English--except he wouldn't tell you, because then he would, in fact, be rabid.
Nonetheless, I'm sure he would make his displeasure quite clear through squeaking, wild gestures, and if necessary, a bite on the nose.

Well, rabies comes in two possible forms with meepits. One: the basic plain-olde 'foaming, aggressive, bite until killed' kind of rabies that develops and worsens over a couple weeks and eventually kills the meepit. Or, in the case of my gang, they get killed before they can do any damage (which is also why the gang hasn't gotten much bigger over the years despite the big number of pups in meepit litters, rodents as they are). Two: a kind of brain mutation. If the meepit is singleminded and strong enough - and those have to be pretty exceptional cases by meepit and human standards alike - it's able to bring the mental aspect of rabies under its control and bend the physical aspects in its favor. Basically the rabies is re-channeled to activate parts in the brain that normally aren't active, like speaking. Dark blue fur is an unchangeable side effect. They still carry the disease, and that's why they're automatically outcasts from the rest of the meepit world, but in their case it's a passive form, and considered dangerous exactly because they're able to control it. They're like moving bioweapons.
Taking all that into account, I'm pretty sure that 'tratta would, in case of getting bitten, become the second version with the blue fur and etc, but I really don't think he'd like it, all downsides considered x3

Umm, quick questions. Where would Cyborg be at this point? Still in the Fleet HQ? And where in the HQ would he be if he is indeed there?

Your call. A little time has passed since we were at the armory, so he could have come along to the negotiations or stayed behind, and if he stayed behind, he's had some half an hour to roam around. Mind you, though, if he did stay behind, the meepitgang will have kept an eye on him and tracked him wherever he went.

Stupid meepits, can't do anything without being stalked. XD I think I'll have him at the negotiations, but not in Keng`s weirdy shipy thingy she and other Fleeters are driving.

Hmm…
So Leraye made a gem. It was somewhat unstable so he split it into two gems: a red, stable one from calm philosophers - which he kept - and a purple, unstable one from the more… wild occupants - which was hidden.
The purple one was later found, and Sev later burned it, releasing the inhabitants, who sailed to the north pole.
At the north pole, Leraye dropped his gem and Fraze grabbed it, snapping it up with his little box, and so the 'Fleet came into possession of the Philosophers Stone.
Leraye made another gem, this one a black one, from TMC.
While at the 'Fleet, Anester grabbed the Time Onyx (how does that sound for a name for it?) and ran off.
'Fleet guards grabbed the Time Onyx and kept it safe, meaning the 'Fleet is now in possession of this gem.
And now Leraye made another gem, probably unstable, from his demon followers and teleported off with the Demon Amethyst (name opinions?).
…So Spacefleet has two powerful gems of potential-doom?

Huh. Never considered it, but that's the way it looks. (I was having a hard time keeping track of the various gems being created and destroyed.) I doubt this will do much to help 'Fleet/NTWF relations, but those have been improving regardless.

Well, to be fair it's not like any of us are really willing to try using the stones... unless we get a new psycho commander...
So on that note TMC is still in a gem and the bike is still in the labs... speaking of which.. I believe I had some scientists heading over there... I'll post that later today. Going out soon.

Uh, Cy, what I said to Hunty was whispered, not broadcast for all to hear.

Well, as far as narrative logic goes, this would be just about the time for a Disney-esque duet, except you got very much the wrong pirate captain for the idea x3 Although Bloody Mary could give you a pretty professional-sounding ballad.
I s'pose it wouldn't be that hard to draw conclusions from witnessing a whispered conversation (body language and etc) although if memory serves, this is the third whack-around-the-ear Cyborg now has on his tab with the capitano, so it hardly paid to say it out loud >>

Well Cyborg isn't exactly stupid Fraze. If someone didn't realise the Hunty/Fraze flirting, it would be like if someone got ran over by a herd of hippos and didn't notice.
