I've got many things to do, and I've got some other Neopian projects. My Draik's petpage story is still unfinished, plus I'd like to draw a comic for Valentine's day (I haven't drawn a comic in ages... not even for the Holidays! Reed would have loved that  ) and the real world keeps me pretty busy. You're really prolific, guys... That's awesome! Congrats on all those poems you get published. I'l be more like... an occasional poet. I'd like to write poetry now and then when I feel inspired by a certain day/pet species (for instance, Buzz is my favourite species, and Pacha is my Tyrannian Elephante's uncle  ). |

So it seems like Tuesday is the new basic poetry contest day, instead of Monday/Thursday? This is a good week to find out since there are no holidays this week.

Sooo apparently my poem was published after months (or even a year?) after submitting it on the 2004 page of the Poetry contest. That's the second time I get accepted, one was on my main account though which is now frozen. Side account is christos1993 if anyone is curious.
It's weird just randomly logging on Neopets after months to see that. It's kind of nice :3

Congrats, Christos! Even if it did take a very long time... Is everything normal with the Poetry Contest again? Is it backed up, sending out NMs normally, giving out trophies as it should etc.? I see doctortomoe mention it above, but no answer. I only ask because I've submitted my first poem in years for Valentine's Day today. Now a bit anxious if I'll just have to keep on the lookout. |

Thank you  I received the acceptance Neomail, as well as the trophy and the prize. Although it was my first trophy on that account, so I don't know if that makes any difference. |

That's good to know, thanks Christos! I don't think the trophy count should matter too much, I think I got in for the first time during a backlog and had to wait a while then to receive my prize.

And this rejected was for my entry over a month ago...for Valentine's Day. Yeah, duh it's being rejected if they've only got to it now.
I'd love to know if anyone has average response rates on the Poetry Contest. I keep track of Times, but don't submit to poetry to keep anything accurate.

I'm debating on whether to get back into Neo, even just casually, and if I do, I'm definitely going to start re-entering the Poetry Contest as my main source of NP income. I've actually won three times before, and I'd like to be able to go back and find my winning entries, but is there no way to search for them by username? I tried but couldn't quite seem to figure out how to do it.
