Since TNT will probably take next week off, I suspect this week will have early Borovan Day, Day of Giving, and Ogrin Day poetry contests.

I've been telling myself that I should try and write stuff for the Poetry Contest for months. Today, I finally got around to writing a little poem for the next Buzz day. Since Buzz is my favourite species ever, I thought I needed to give it a try.
I'm not sure if my humble poem is good enough to be accepted, though. So I guess I'll just have to wait and see. *Crosses fingers* I'm so nervous!

My Buzz Day poem has been accepted! ^_^ However, I'm just curious... Do they usually edit the poems? They've changed some words from mine... I'll accept it; however, i'll admit it bugs me a little.

Yes, they do have the power to change some things.
If they didn't, you'd see a glaring

just before all of my poems. They really have the best interests of the readers at heart.
Even so, it might get a bit annoying...*kicks the title of her Day of Giving poem*

Oh, cool! They liked the poem about Pacha that I wrote for Elephante day  . How much does it usually take for the site to give us our rewards, BTW? I know delays are common nowadays... But these are my first poems, and I'd love to get the trophies. And, of course, I'm looking forward to seeing what my other prizes are, as well. |
