"So you are willing to avenge the dark side, and those changed to the dark side? You would fight for evil, then, would you not? As the Elves are the first children of Iluvatar ((no accent, can't find the key)) and they are responsible for keeping the peace of Middle-Earth."
Another sound caught her ear. "The threat of Rhun?"

That was it. How dare she speak of my family, and my race, in that manner!
I leaped at her, fire shooting out of my back and dissappearing to reveal my wings, one hand stretched out, my dagger aimed for her heart.

Celie stepped back calmly. "Why are you angry? I asked if getting revenge on the Elves would mean fighting for the dark side. I merely want you to think about that. It's not an insult."

My jaw clenched, breath whistling through my teeth, I turned back to her.
"Quick little devil," I whispered. "What'd ya do? Elf trickery?" I snarled.
"As for your question, my actions are justified. You insulted my family-my race!-saying they were evil. I do not fight for evil, I fight for justice. The elves are evil betrayers, disgraces to the name warrior, who would orphan children without a thought. I nearly died at their hands, no more than a child, and they didn't do anything. They walked away, leaving me to die! The only one who cared about my life was Masdana, my mother, and she only save my life a second time so she could banish me!"

"I did not call your family evil," Celie said, an edge of anger and impatience in her voice. "I asked if that was an evil way of life you were following. From what I know, that is not the same thing. By the way... Many children are left orphaned each day. You should count yourself lucky that you had someone to save you. I have met others that are not so fortunate."

I scowled. Geez, but this woman was frustrating. She turned everything I said upside down, until none of it made sense to her, the way it did to others.
Turning away from her, I stalked over to my horse and mounted the obediant animal, digging my heels into his sides and walking him away.

(I'm back) Turning around to look at the river, Sabboc saw the boy turn and ride away. 'Well, he thought,' maybe I should follow him and make sure he doesn't kill anymore elves along the way. he going the right direction anyway.

Celie smiled as he rode away. Good riddance. He was a danger to all living things, including himself.
She turned back to see that the warrior was also riding away, leaving her alone. ((If I'm missing someone, sorry.))

((well, while I'm waiting for peanut, I think I'll give somemore backround on Sabboc.))
Sabboc was until recent times known as Sabboc the Green. He was a great wizard until Saruman destroyed his staff after arguing with Sabboc. Sabboc was kicked to the curb, and now is just a wanderer.

((Something I forgot to mention in the profile... he's got a very thick black wool mask that covers his entire face. The eye holes are nothing but slits, and the nose and mouth holes are just large enough to breath and/or talk through.))
My fists were clenched tightly, my nails digging into my palms, as I tried to stop the tears from coming. What did she know of being orphaned? I had been four when my parents died of plague, the awful disease sparing my life, leaving me to suffer as a knight for an evil fortress caught me and put me into a prison with many other children. They had taken our blood to use in potions or other foul things, not caring if any of us died in the cells-the knights would bring more the next day. Then, after three years of torture, I led many to freedom. That had been when I nearly got cut in half by the battleaxe, and the children who had been my family brought me to the dragons. Then, the elves had come, slaughtering my family, leaving me to die. Three families had died around me, three families had left me alone.
That half-elf could not begin to understand what my life had been like. The elves had murdured the last family I had ever had, killing all but me and my dragon mother. My anger was justified, my actions were justified.
Which was more than the elves ever would be able to say.
((by the way, he rides his horse bareback))

((Little history on Celie... (after CrazyWriter's post about Celie not knowing about being orphaned): She never knew her father - or even what species he was; elf, maybe - and her mother went missing soon after she was born - she left on a journey. Celie grew up with the children in her village (of hobbits, by the way) until it was destroyed by Men.... And that's when she began wandering.))

It took a while for my anger to boil itself down to the ever-present simmer inside me, but once it did I took a look at my surroundings. I hadn't noticed where I'd been going as I rode, but now that I stopped and looked around, I could see I was near Fangorn Forest... good, I could be alone there, no elves ever went in there, let alone men or dwarves.
((For those of you who have a map (like me) and have noticed (like me) that I just did days worth of travel in about twenty minutes, just blame it on his magic.))
