Age: Unknown Name: Sabboc, Sword Twirler Location: Anywhere he wants to be Profile: Mysterius wanderer of middle earth this swordsman has been everywhere across middle earth. His prefered weapon is a double sword (a sword with the hilt in the middle and two blades on the outside).
Riding across the plains of Rohan, Sabboc stopped, and looked to the west. A dark cloud was approaching. Turning to face it, he saw soldiers with the grey insignia of Rhun on there armor. As they surrounded the lone traveler, the leader of the soldiers walked up to Sabboc and said, "Where are your papers?" Sabboc replied, "Last time I checked, Travelers were free to ride in Rohan.
Anyone want to continue this Role play?

I thought I typed this, but it sort of takes place after the Hobbit but befor LOTR. After The dragon smaug was vanquished, the king of Rhun started to establish his power over other lands.

((Muahahahaha... I am in my element... My favorite area... I think I'll use Leo again... more fun with all the elves around... ntwriters.proboards7.com/index.cgi?board=roleplay&action=display&n=1&thread=4119&start=0Fifth post from the bottom. Only got some modifications for it: He's three hundred, not eighteen. He's four feet tall, not three feet (he hit a growth spurt at about one hundred and eighty three) )) I sighed as I leaned against a rock in the realm of Rohan, my horse taking a drink at the river nearby. I had filled my waterskin at it, but other than that had avoided the water. It was ice-cold, having run down from the mountains as the snow melted, and unsuitable to enter without freezing to death. Having fire in my blood, I had a snowball's chance in hell surviving in that water. I'd much rather be in hell than here. Or maybe I was in hell, only it had frozen over. I could never tell, with the pain.

(this is continuing from my last segment).
"Rohan yes. Rhun no. By declaratioin of the king of rhun, the lands of gondor and rohan are now parts of rhun." "Ohh," replied Sabboc, grinning slightly,"then I guess you might want this!" He threw a paper at the riders, then as soon as the leader picked it up, the paper suddenly expanded trapping him and his horse inside. With a roar, Sabboc charged through the ranks of horsemen, spinning his double sword as he went.

Name: Celebrinril (I looked the parts of that up in the index of the Silmarillion - it DOES mean something in Elvish <Silver Brilliance>) nickname: Celie (pronounced like the name Kelly) Age: Unknown, maybe in her 20-s? Species (lol): Part elf, part hobbit. Location: Wandering. Looks: Dark blonde hair, green eyes. Very small - about 3'9. Carries a knife... Personality: Quiet, she doesn't make friends easily, but those that she has.... she really cares about and would give her life to protect.
IC: At the top of the mound, Celie could see to the edge of Fangorn. Such a far distance, especially to one as small as she was. However, the forest was not her destination...
The Anduin was a fierce river, as she had seen. It had dashed her boat to pieces and now she was left to wander across Rohan in order to reach her destination - Gondor. Why, she did not know. Something called.
She slid down the hill and the forest disappeared behind her. She turned her head to the south and noticed a battle. One against many? Yet the one was winning.
Celie silently made her way towards it.

I'm in; I just saw two LoTR Movies a few days ago, so I remember stuffies. Name: Rwenn Age: 16 Gender: Female Species: Elven Bio: Never been cut white-blonde hair, and pale grey eyes. She weilds a double-edged sword, although it is very light, yet strong. Posses unknown magic, and is good with a bow. Rwenn was upon her horse, a bitter expression on her face. By order of the King, Myorrn will become a military city. Myorrn was a tiny city in Rohan, not on any maps. Rwenn had run away, and was now starting to regret her decision. She almost missed seeing the boy beside a river. "Hello there," She said politely, expertly bringing her horse to a stop.

He had timed well. After using his paper bomb (his last one unfortunetly) some of the riders to his sides moved to rescue there leader. By picking the spot where the line was only a few horsemen thick, he was able to charge through, and escape the horsemen. He new that they could not catch him, for his horse was Shadowing, sire of Shadowfax. After easily escaping the horsemen, he rode out on to warn the king of gondor. After a few hours riding, he stopped by a river where he saw what appeared to be a young boy...

The one had ridden out of the battle. "Running away," Celie said softly. "It may be a wise decision, but sometimes you must stay and fight." She continued walking to a river. Ahead was the one warrior, an elf and a boy. Saying nothing, she walked ahead of them and dipped one finger in the water.

I snarled at the woman who had just approached.
"Back off, elf! Unless you want a dagger through your throat, you had better leave. Find some of your demon kin and go torture something, like you do best."

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," I said, approaching the boy. "For where I come from, the punishment for murder is being forced to traverse the mines of moria, which is not a pleasent experience. Now I suggest that you drop the knife. NOW!"

I raised an eyebrow at the man.
"If the penalty for murder is a trip in the mines of Moria, then why is Mirkwood still overrun with elves? Besides, I wasn't going to murder anyone. I was merely defending myself against the race of creatures that slaughtered my family," I told him cheekily, not putting down my knife.

Maybe the race of creatures, but not the creature. This is but one elf, who personally has done nothing to harm you.

(sorry this wasn't in last post) I would also advise putting down the knife.

Celie raised one hand out of the water, letting the droplets fall into the river again to leave ripples. Softly, she said, "Revenge against one's family's murderers is a desperately wanted thing, but it can leave many consequences. Not all elves are evil, and not all humans are kind. It would be a terrible thing to kill one who had no part in your destiny. It could start a war that lasts for many years." She looked up at the others. "Why is the penalty for murder one more death? Unless, of course, they escape free, which is unlikely. Tell me, where do you come from, that a penalty is so harsh?"
