Gem power: Wind. (She actually has a bit of every power, but Wind is the strongest, since it is enhanced by the Gem. All her other powers are natural... Sort of... I've gotta stop using these people in RPs before someone accuses me of god-moding!)
Gem: Blue
Appearance: Around four and a half feet tall, She has fair skin, blue eyes, and brown hair with pale blue streaks in it. It only reaches to cover her ears.
Bio: If you're family, MAYBE she'll tell you.

Jade decided she didn't care if they hurt her or not. She came out and asked: "Why in the world did you do that?!" she was very mad now. Those people could of killed many animals while destroying those trees. And it could endanger the whole forest if only one creature or a couple of trees died by a cause other then nature.

Clay rages on shooting all around him.

Clay: "Come out of you're hiding place!"

Jan: "Calm down, Clay. Before there's no forest left."

Clay: "Oh, but that's my exact idea! No more forest, no where to hide!"

They hear the screeching again, and Clay practically goes mad.

Mai: "He can't control himself. He has the hearing of a dog, maybe twice that, and his hearings way more acute then ours."

Clay shoots in every direction, even the ones he already has. He shoots a beam that just barely passes Jade.

Jan: "Give it up already! You almost hit a girl that last time!

Clay falls to the ground, powerless, and only half conscious. The second Clay hit the ground, shadows in the shape of spiders crall around on the path.

Whitney: "That's weird. Where are those shadows come from?

The shadows emerse from the ground as black spiders with V markings on there backs.

Jan takes his sword out.

Jan: "They're the same things that attacked me after I found the sword! Except there's a lot more! Run! And take Clay with you!"

They run down the path that Clay had made earlier with Clay on there shoulders. As they see the girl in the distance, not knowing she has power, Mai yells.

Mai : "Run!"

Two Shadow Spiders appear behind them.

Whitney: "Ugh, you're to slow, Mai."

She holds her hand out.

Whitney: "Gem Rod of Feline, send me strength!"

A beam of light surrounds Whitney, and when it clears, and there is no difference in appearance.

Whitney: "Get on my back!"

Mai: "You can't hold both of u--"

Whitney: "Just get on my back! NOW!"

Clay has enough power to hold on to Whitney, and Mai holds on to Clay.

Whitney takes off, but you can only see a blur, being one of the Speed Twins. As Whitney passes Jade and grabs on to her to, on her way to where the beam ended.

Jade grabs on to Whitney very tightly. She muttered a few words and some water started to come out of the ground, and after drowning the shadows, went into the ground as quickly as it appeared.

Mai: "You can stop now, Whitney. It looks like people up ahead."

As they approach Brandon Whitney starts to slow down. When they're finally with Brandon, Whiotney lets everyone go, and the beam of light leaves Whitney, and she, to, lies on the ground.

Mai: "Great. Now they're BOTH down."

Clay starts mumbling.

Clay: "Jan..."

Mai: "OH! I completely forgot! Jan's out there fighting those creeps and there's nothing I can do!"

Clay mumbles again.

Clay: "He's got the elements... And the sword..."

Mai: "How's that supposed to help him? Trees and metal. And you expect the average teenage boy to know how to weild a sword?"

Clay: "Just wait..."

Then he rolls over, completely unconscious. Mai then looks up.

Mai: "And what would your names be?"

"Well, my name's Jade. Nice to meet you." Jade said to Mai.

"Not really, I only have power over water." Jade answered, pointing at the white gem on her forehead.

Gender: Female
Age: 9
Element: Bird (She's still learning how to use her powers, though.)
Appearance: Short, light brown hair which points in every direction (like ruffled feathers), light blue eyes, little over half the size of her sister (Nokua)... There's a blue stone in the middle of her forehead. She wears leather slippers, light brown tights, capri-like pants, and a short-sleeved white blouse (which is usually dirty).
Personality: Being only 9 years old, she's very energetic, and can get very annoying. She scares easily, but is brave enough to do as she's told (when she's scared, that is). Eny looks up to her older sister, Nokua, but usually doesn't listen to Nokua's warnings.

Gender: Female
Age: 15
Element: None
Weapon: Nokua always carries a heavy wooden staff with her. If she concentrates really hard, she can form the ends of the staff into sharp wooden axes (the type of wood allows her to do this, as it bonds with it's user in a sort of telepathic way when). She's had the staff since she was around Eny's age.
Appearance: Wavy, dark brown hair (shoulder-length), green-gold eyes, 5' 7 1/2", green tights, knee-length skirt, long-sleeved off-white blouse (usually as clean as possible), and a pair of leather slippers like her sister's.
Personality: Nokua is sarcastic most of the time, and may seem a bit crabby at times. Overall, she's pretty kind (except to strangers that look dangerous) and responsible. She can even be playful at times. Nokua gets very frantic when she loses something, though (especially her sister). She's very loyal to her friends, and has never broken a promise.

Eny ran into a clearing, there was pain between her shoulder blades, as there usually was. She had stumbled off the path and into the forest, blinded by her pain, which was stronger than usual. Eny sat on the ground, crying. Nokua had said to not go off the path, but Nokua didn't know anything. Her older sister didn't know the pain. Eny barely heard Nokua shouting for her name.

Meanwhile, Nokua tripped through the forest.
"Eny!," she called, "Eny, where are you!?"
Tears started forming in her eyes. Her mother would never forgive her if she found Eny dead. After her younger sister had obtained that... that... element, she had wanted to explore more than ever. Eny had claimed that something was calling to her, something that was far away. Worried, their mother had assigned Nokua the position of guardian to Eny as she let them go on their journey. Nokua continued to search for Eny.

About in hour later, Whitney and Clay were healed, and Mai was still pacing back and forth.

Mai: "That's it, you two, we're going.

Whitney: "But we just hea--"

Mai: "I don't care! Jan has been fighting those creepy things for an hour now, and still hasn't come back."

When they finally got there, there was pure silence.

Mai: "Oh, no..."

Just around the corner, Mai's frown immediately changed to a smile.

Mai: "JAN!"

Jan: "Hi..."

Jan had a somewhat evil smerk on his face.

Mai: "Are you alright?"

Jan: "Of coarse. You think a few spiders could do anything to me?"

Mai: "Well, I'm so glad you're fine."

As Mai goes to hug him, Jan jumps back.

Jan: "Wait! No! Don't touch me!"

Clay: "Someone is a little jumpy."

They head back, and everyone is introduced. Jan, Mai, and the Speed Twins decide to stay for the night.

"You can all come at my place, if you want, there's plenty of room." Jade proposed to the group.

Nokua runs through the forest, and suddenly stumbles onto the path. She had been running for hours, but she couldn't stop running until her sister was found. Unfortunately, just as she makes it halfway onto the path, she collapses. Nokua had fainted, having depleted her energy supply.

Eny wept more. Her sister should've found her by now, and it was getting late. She didn't like the dark, but she wouldn't move from where she was. Nokua had always told her to stay put if she ever got lost.
The small girl looked around the clearing. There were strange shadows lurking around the edge of it. Eny whimpered... Nokua wasn't here to protect her this time. She let out a scream as the shadows attacked.

I shrugged my shoulders, trying to get rid of the daggerlike pain in my shoulders. If I looked at my reflection, I could see the texture of feathers beneath my skin-skin that had been stretched so tight it was transparent. It had been almost three years since I'd been giving the seed of magic, and up until a week and a half ago the wings that were part of being a Twinstar hadn't seemed to be forming. Shae and Drintarr had advised against opening my skin with a dagger, but I didn't think I could handle much more of seeing... or rather, not seeing... my skin in that area much longer.

Far below me, I saw a little girl stumble by and collapse. Up this far in the tree, I couldn't tell how old she was, but I could tell that she was a girl. More benifits of being in the Twinstar family-my sight was even better than before.

((Erm... First of all, Eny didn't collapse first, Nokua did. Second, I wasn't gonna say you were copying. It makes sense that the one with the Wind Element would have wings.))

The shadows had attacked, and had given Eny a considerable amount of wounds. She had collapsed from the amount of blood loss, and lay sprawled on the ground. The shadows left her, sensing that she would die in a day if her many wounds were not tended to.

Nokua slowly opened her eyes... She was still lying on the ground, but she couldn't move. Her body was sore and numb, and she was starting to get cold. The 15-year-old girl could feel that her sister had collapsed only minutes before she ((Nokua)) had regained conciousness. A tear slid down her cheek.

Later, at Jade's house, the Speed Twins were setting up the fire. When they rushed by Jan, he put out his leg and tripped them.

Right now, Whitney is helping Mai set up the fire.

Mai: "Jan hasn't been acting the same lately."

Whitney: "What do you mean?"

Mai: "He seems sort of... evil."

Jan walks out, and Clay lights the fire.

Jan: "What on earth are you talking about? I'm the same as always. I have no clue what you're speaking of."

Mai: "Really? Then why won't you let me touch you?"

Mai gets close to Jan, but he quickly takes out his sword.

Jan: "Stand back!"

Whitney: "This isn't like you, Jan."

Jan swings his sword out, but Mai jump-kicks it. and it shadders.

Mai: "It's a fake!"

Mai punches Jan, but then Jan goes pitchblack, and darkness surrounds him.

Mai: "Oh my gosh! Jan! What have I done! I'm so sorry!

Clay: "That's not Jan. Gem Rod of Canine, Send me a Reveal Spell!"

The energy ball brings a strong blow of wind, and the darkness forming Jan is gone. In it's place, are four Shadow Spiders, standing on each other. Clay and Whitney double team them, and they then disappear.

Mai: "B-but, then where's Jan?!?"

(It's night time, just so you know) Big red eyes appear in the darkness of the trees.

Dark, low, voice: "I have him. I have Jan."

Clay and Whitney get in fighting position.

Whitney: "Warn all others in this area, Mai. NOW!"

Mai rushes off, and the Speed Twins are ready.

Clay: "It-it-it's the--"

Shadow Lord: "Yes. I'm the Shadow Lord. Main follower of Haroo, power over all at night."

Clay: "You'll never catch us!"

The Shadow Lord steps out. He wheres a black robe, and besides that, looks like pure shadow energy.

Shadow Lord: "Ah, but you have no where to go."

They look around, and the ground around them is pure darkness. They start sinking in it, and start panicing.
