Gem Sword RP

Okay... I'm sure none of you have heard of "Gem Sword..." And I don't blame you. It's an anime comic I'VE been working on. I'm getting short on ideas for it, so I thought I'd start an RP here... I hope some of you help. I'll explain the plot.

For all of time, the Gem King had possessed the Gem Sword, an item with markings all over it, each one representing a creature, element, or item in which he could control anything. And also, for all of time, Haroo, a very evil soul that ment nothing but harm and darkness, had tryed to take the Gem sword from the Gem King, and one day, he finally succeeded. He killed the Gem King, and snatched the Gem Sword. But the second the Gem Sword touched Haroo's hands, being the first thing he had touched excepted the King, began to over-power Haroo. The signs came off in the forms of gems, with the signs still craved in. The gems flew off to their destined ones, and changed those forever, unless the Gem Sword’s wielder saves them. They posses all control of that element, gain attributes of that element, and also harness a magical wand with a ball on the end called a Gem Rod.

One day, a teenage boy, Jan, finds the Gem Sword while digging through his basement. From that day on, weird things happen, and he finds from the spirit of the Gem King that he was the destined one to regain all the elements control. By simply touching the gem with his sword, he captures the element and frees the human that had weld it. But a few were destined to journey with him save the world. He sets out on a journey to save the world.

Okay, here is what’s happened so far. Jan’s set out on the journey with his friend, Mai, and he has encountered a few elements, namely, tree, metal, and the speed twins, Clay and Whitney, (portrays me and my friend) with the elements of canine and feline, who now accompany him on his journey. Haroo has come back, and is trying to obtain the sword.

Here’s how it goes. You can be a regular person that tries to help, or someone that posses a gem. (still thinking of a name for that… heheh)

If you posses a gem, you can be anything I haven’t named. The gem on your forehead can be any of these colours:

Black: You work for Haroo

Red: You’re neutral. Well, sort of. You might be out of control, causing terror and confused, but you also might have learned to control your powers, and use them how you wish.

White: You’re good, and are a follower of the Gem King. Either that, or you’ve chosen to follow Jan.

You can improvise, remember, I’m still getting ideas. I’ll post the first profiles in a sec.

Okay! Thanks! Sounds great! I was interrupted last night, and I didn't go on for the rest of the night.

First, I'd also like to add that I got mixed up with the Gem colours. I'll show them all over again, because I forgot a gem, and mixed two up.

Black: You work for Haroo

White: You’re good, and are a follower of the Gem King. Either that, or you’ve chosen to follow Jan.

Red: Another element has given you a bit of there element, and you turn into a monster or creature of some sort, (you don’t have to be TOO monsterous) and you now obey them. This only works for ones already with elements.

Name: Jan Brone

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Element: None. Weilder of the Gem Sword

Appearance: Brown eyes, brown hair, and wheres a green and yellow fighting robe with one of those sword holding thingies (: on his back.

Personality: Slightly serious, very determined


Anybody can role as him a little bit. But not too much--we need to keep it to the plot.


Names: Clay and Whitney Wertens (mixed our two last names, heheh)

Genders: Male and Female

Age: 15

Element: Canine and Feline (The Speed Twins)

Appearance: Clay: Copper hair, black husky ears, black husky tail, black shirt, black pants, black shoes, and black gloves; for Whitney, copper hair down to shoulders, white cat ears, white cat tail, and same clothes as Clay, except white

Personality: They're both the same. They always work togethor. They're slightly less serious, and slightly dumber, but can be a great help. (sometimes) Sometimes, they're a tad evil, since they used to terrorized

I'd prefer nobody would roleplay as them, since they DO portray me and my friend.


Name: Mai June (haha... you know how I got that name!)

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Element: None

Appearance: Blue eyes, where's a pure white fighting dress. Black, long, braded hair

Personality: Quite serious, but nice, yet shy

Same as Jan for her.

Jan: "We've been walking for hours one end! Will you two slow down a bit!"

Whitney: "Sorry, but it's so hard.”

Jan: “How can it be so hard to simply take a break?”

Clay: “All we had to do before you came is run around and cause terror.”

Jan: “Yeesh. You two are like two sugar high ani—“

Clay and Whitney give Jan a quick glance, and Jan stops his sentence immediately.


A few minutes later, Jan’s eyes suddenly become wide-open, his face goes pale, and he stops like a statue.

Whitney: “Yeesh, you can expect us to slow down for you two slowpokes, but you can’t be stopping suddenly on the trail every few minute.”

Jan: “It—it’s one of them again! It’s near…”

Clay: “One of what?”

Mai: “Jan, are you all right.”

Jan: “One of them… The ones who posses the gems…”

Clay: “Oh, please. You can’t sense them, you’re just being paranoid.”

They all hear a large screech sound. The Speed Twins Freak out, but Jan and Mai just remain calm, looking into the trees.

Appearance: Light blue hair(it is a manga, after all) tied in a braid that comes to her hips. Blue eyes and white kimono with a navy blue belt. She has a white gem on her forehead.

Personality: Very nice to the people she loves and mostly shy.))

"Leave me alone! Go away!" exlaimed Jade, struggling to get out of a huge man's arms((he's a bad guy)). "Somebody! HEL-" she was cut short, the man covering her mouth with his hand. "Stop talking, it's best for yeh!" said the man in a grumpy voice

Name: Brandon (wonder why I chose THAT )

Element: Nature (WH00T! That menas I have control over all the animals, weather, and the Earth (but not major). Like, I have water power but far less than Jade's)

Age: 13

Appearance: Dark curly hair, brown eyes, black and forest green-robes, brown pants, blue and red undershirt.

Personality: Can be stubbron and arrogant, defensive, and says the worng things at the wrong time too often for his liking. On a happier note, he cannot abide evil for a minute, always helps someone in need, and will be a great friend - if you get to that point.

Brandon's staff glowed.

Something was wrong.

However, the cascade of water on a struggling girl and strong man was enoug to tell him that.

As the girl fled, brandon summoned a quake and sank the evil man into the depths of the Earth, chuckling.

He then briskly walked over to the girl an air of pride about him, due to the fact he had just saved someone bigger than himself.

"How may I be of assistance?" he said, giving a mock bow.

Brandon grinned greatly.

"No problem. 'Tis easy. So, who was that guy? And I notice you have a power," he said, gesturing to the white gem on her forehead with his staff.

"Oh, one of Haroo's minions, I guess. Yeah, and I have a power over water.", she said. "What's your name? Mine's Jade." she asked, holding her hand in front of her, waiting to shake the boy's hand.

"Brandon," he said nodding briskly.

"My personal ability is power over nature. I can smmon any creature to my call, use the weather, and have power over every element - however, not as strong".

Jade nodded. "So, how may I pay you back, Brandon? You saved my life, after all." she said.

Name: Iyorrn
Gender: Female
Age: 13
Element: Fire
Stone: Blue
Appearance: Flaming red hair hidden most of the time by the pulled-up hood of her Black robe. On the few occasions the hood is down, knee length wavy hair the colour of fire is revealed, and eyes that were a more vivid green than the trees in the woods. Always has a phoenix resting on her shoulder; any without the power of fire would be burned to ashes.
Personality: As with fire, determined to go where she chooses, and when she chooses. Headstrong and determined; bold and brave. Never looks back and never regrets; never shy and always faithful. Good-natured, yet stubborn as a pig.

Iyorrn looked around, a slight frown on her face. There was nothing but solid woods in front, behind, and surrounding her. She frowned as her Phoenix thought to her I told you you didn't know where you were going. Shut up. I know where to go. Yorrn thought back harshly. After walking around for a few more minutes, she burst out of the woods, only to see a boy and a girl, the boy around her age.

(I guess it's somewhat like Card Captors, now that I sort of think of it. Sorry I took so long. I had to fix the computer with out a flashlight. :

The screeching continued in the area around them.

Clay: "That's it!"

(Okay, I'll show you how the Gem Rods work now.)

Clay hold out his hand, and on the palm of his glove, a bright ball or power appears. A stick starts to extend from it. (still bright power)

Clay: "Gem Rod of Canine,"

(Stick turns normal, and black, but the ball is still power)

Clay: "Send me a beam!"

(Ball of energy always leaves after that, too do the spell, if possible. Now, where the power at the end was, there's a white ball. It is always the same as the gem)

The bright power ball goes out, turns into a beam aimed directly near the trees. Soon, there is a big explosion, and everyone is sent back.

Jan: "Whoa, calm down, Clay!"

Clay pays know attention. He rapidly shoots more beams, leaving more explosions around the forest.

Clay: "COME OUT, COWARD!"

When the smoke clears, that part of the forest is totalled.

(remember, you can be practically anything you want. It doesn't have to be a real element. It could be like... Computer... Or an animal of some sort, like the speed twins...)

Jade looked at the blast at the other side of the cascades. What would happen to burn down the trees like that? "Do you mind waiting here? I'll be right back." she said to the boy. She went trough the cascade as if it had no current at all. she came close to the woods and peeked out from a side, seeing a creature that looked as if it were half-dog, half-human. Ohter people were standing in back of him but she couldn't see them clearly.
