Oh, you're welcome. =D
I've seen worse, maybe that's why I'm unaffected by such a mental image. XD ... or maybe it's just 'cause I'm me. I dunno. XD

It's definitely true that opinions vary, since I can't think of a single case I didn't like so far. XD; Some that aren't as awesome as others, yes, but none that I didn't think were at least good. And I remember hearing once that 2-1 is one of the least-liked cases in AA history? Yeah, one of Omni's favorites last I checked. XD
But uhh yeah. :3 I'm just gonna dance around spoilers until I can get my hands on a less shady copy of AJ, mmkays~

2-3 is the most disliked case in AA, as far as I've seen.
I was just reading a topic on another forum, and one on GFAQs about peoples least favourite cases and why... and 2-3 was winning by a mile, and most of their reasons I agree with. XDXD
Someone said their least favourite was 3-5, and it was hard to tell if they were serious, or trolling. XD

2-1 is supposedly unpopular? I quite liked 2-1. Not as full of twists and turns as the others, but it's a tutorial case so you can't really expect that. It also had a bit more challenge to it than 1-1, which I feel if you make a mistake on you should not be allowed to play the game as it was SOOOOOOO stupidly easy, and just a pretty dull case really. I can't believe anybody would say 3-5 though. That's a great case with loads of twists and turns and.... YOU GET TO PLAY AS EDGEWORTH! Edgeworth vs Franziska, what a showdown. Then factor in that it really is the end of the trilogy and the characters have to go away in the end, what with the death of Misty Fey and the Maya having to take over. Plus you just throw in that twist of a new crime scene appearing after a day, more members of the Fey clan, murder from beyond the grave...
Okay I guess some may dislike it as it could be a bit convoluted in some of the things it does, but comparatively there are much worse out there.
We don't all like the same things though. Dreadful joke in that spoiler box title, but I couldn't resist Honestly, I haven't spoilered 4-4 in there, only 3-5! Oh, and Killix, I did have nightmares about Grossberg. I think I just have a more warped and twisted and HORRIBLY vivid imagination than you

I dunno, maybe I misheard when I heard that 2-1 wasn't popular? XDDD All I know is that Omni claims it's one of her faves... or maybe her very fave? Not sure. *asks her* ... *discovers that her favorite is probably 3-1, with 2-1 being up there somewhere* XD She has a thing for Phoenix tutorial cases, sounds like. Anyway, yeah, 1-1 was definitely the most easy case in the series. But since that was the very first case I played--in other words, back when I had no idea what I was doing--I can forgive it for that. And Morton, I wholeheartedly agree with you in that first sentence in your spoiler box. That part made an already awesome case spectacular, if just because it's me saying this~ As for 2-3, I've never had a particular hate for that case, myself. XD; It wasn't the greatest case by far, but I wouldn't say it was necessarily bad. Maybe I'm not that picky. *shrug* Or maybe I just love that little tidbit right at the end I DUNNO

1-1 can't be that bad anyway, since it is what hooked me on the AA series. XD

1-1 can't be that bad anyway, since it is what hooked me on the AA series. XD I had 2-1 for that (take that people who think 2-1 is crap!), due to finding JFA cheaper than the original. Anyhow, I wouldn't say 1-1 is bad, because like all tutorial cases it's just a simplistic... tutorial (4-1 is a bit different I guess). But it is ridiculously easy. The other openers require you to think a bit and look at the evidence a bit more, but 1-1 doesn't really. I could practically do the whole case without looking at what evidence I was presenting. Mark of a proper tutorial though really, where it's simple, holds your hand the whole way (Apollo is on a long tutorial in that respect, although what he's being tutored in is open to question ) and introduces the mechanics, ready for the later cases to introduce the game story/stories.

I guess they expect people to know how to play by now, so 4-1 got something a little different than your usual tutorial case. XD

Not really, 4-1 I think they just got more adventurous. After all, they need to assume you don't know how to play at the start of each game, or they will potentially push away newcomers to the series. All games in a franchise are there not only to keep the francise going and the fans happy, but to attract new fans to the franchise as well.
More fans = more revenues. Money makes the world go 'round after all.

WELL HAI So um. I was looking through the scans of the GS2 Fanbook (?) and I noticed that they did interviews with most of the characters from JFA and earlier. Curiosity struck, so I broke out my rusty Japanese skillz and decided to see what they said! Andand I probably misinterpreted some things! And about halfway through I realized that someone much better at Japanese than I had probably translated them already! BUT I DON'T EVEN CARE ANYMORE I'll post them anyway. <3 ((Quick note: JFA spoilers ahead!)) Q) So how has it been, being a defense lawyer?
A) It's had its ups and downs, but overall it's been decent. I'm pretty much just an unknown in the world of lawyers right now, though.
Q) Since you became a lawyer, have you ever had to manage the office by yourself?
A) Yes, once. To tell the truth... it's tough to manage the office when Maya isn't around...
Q) What would you say is your motto as a defense attorney?
A) "Believe in your client"... that's what Mia always used to say. So I'd have to say that's my motto.
Q) What's your family like?
A) I'd, uh, rather not talk about that.
Q) How long did it take to get your lawyer's badge?
A) It takes a lot of diligence and hard work to become a lawyer. Once I decided to go into law, it took about 3-4 years to get my badge. Q) Do you have any regrets about your death?
A) Not particularly, no. My main concern for Phoenix's welfare.
Q) It seems your spirit is always being channeled. Don't you ever get the chance to rest in peace?
A) Oh, of course I do. I'm not bothered THAT much, haha. Maya only channels me when she feels I'm needed.
Q) So what made you decide to become a lawyer?
A) Well... something happened that I'd rather not discuss. I suppose leaving Kurain Village gave me the chance to consider a few things.
Q) I heard it was because you wanted to resolve that spirit channeling scandal. Is this true?
A) ...As a spirit medium of Kurain Village, that scandal meant a great deal to me. Thus, I became a lawyer, to make sure that could never happen again.
Q) So are spirit mediums required to have wacky hairdos like Maya and Pearl?
A) "Wacky"? Really now? At any rate, I don't think so... though come to think of it, I believe I used to have a hairstyle like that, myself... Q) Huh? Why do I have to do this?!
A) Sorry, I can't tell you! I was busy training under the raging falls, so I don't know~
Q) *sigh* Did you grow up like Pearl, completely sheltered from the outside world?
A) Nope, I was allowed to leave the village all the time. Pearly's mom is just really strict and doesn't let her leave the village.
Q) So why is your outfit so... unique?
A) Huh? Are you saying my clothes are strange!? Well I... huh. I've never really thought about it.
Q) Are strange hairstyles a tradition in the Fey family or something?
A) Not that I know of. I just think this hairstyle suits me!
Q) So what's with the magatama you wear around your neck? Does it do anything?
A) The magatama possesses great spiritual power. Most notably, it lets you see people's psyche-locks. It also does a few other, less important things.
Q) What kind of things in Kurain, besides the magatama, have spiritual power?
A) Let's see... there's Kurain Iwakura (a large rock where gods dwell), the sacred urn, and the folding screen with our ancient writings on it. Oh, and also the Master of Kurain, that's one of the special things we have. Q) Do you have a school you go to?
A) Yes, I go to a rather nice school in Kurain Village.
Q) You seem to be rather sensible to romance. Have you ever been in love?
A) Me? I don't think I'm old enough... I'm so jealous, though! I mean, Mystic Maya has already found her special someone... *giggle*
Q) Is channeling spirits ever a strain on your little body?
A) Aw, no need to be concerned about me! It's fine, really.
Q) Do you have any friends your age?
A) Friends...? Well, of course I have friends. But my BEST friend is Mystic Maya!
Q) Aside from playing with your ball, what sort of things do you do for fun?
A) Well, I like to play with rubber bands, and I like to play Cat's Cradle and beanbag toss... among other things.
Q) Why didn't you talk to us earlier?
A) I... I'm sorry. My mother says to never talk to strangers. And I don't see people from outside of Kurain Village that often... Q) I heard you had mysteriously disappeared from the Prosecutor's Office for a while. How long did it take you to come back?
A) I don't believe I was gone long. Just a short while, I believe.
Q) Was it because of the incident involving your father? Have you gotten over that?
A) ... Does it really matter? Whatever way you think of it, it changes nothing.
Q) What's your relation to Franziska von Karma?
A) I was trained as a prosecutor under Franziska's father, Manfred von Karma. The same man Franziska herself trained under. Apparently she thinks of me as her pupil.
Q) What exactly were you doing during your leave from the Prosecutor's Office?
A) Hahaha... if you really must know, perhaps you should play Justice For All again. The clues scattered throughout the game should give you enough to guess off of. Q) How old were you when you trained under your father as a prosecutor?
A) A von Karma is raised to be perfect. I can't remember a time when I WASN'T taking special training from my father.
Q) What kind of a relationship did you have with your father?
A) I... I can't easily describe our complex relationship. Perhaps you could find out by playing through the game again?
Q) Do you have any siblings?
A) Yes, I have an older sister who's moved out with her husband. She also has a daughter, who owns a dog named Phoenix... ironically enough.
Q) How can you take a whip into the courtroom without anyone caring?
A) Any fool who questions the whip will face the wrath of it!
Q) Do you have a boyfriend?
A) No, I don't. Is there a problem with that? Q) How do you survive with such a low salary?
A) Somehow I keep getting pay cuts... so instant noodles have become a staple food for me. I really wish I could get some meat though!
Q) How did you become a detective?
A) I worked my way up to it, pal! Originally I worked as a regular cop, but then they transfered me over to Criminal Affairs, where I work now.
Q) Do you have any subordinates?
A) I normally have an investigation team, but I'll take subordinates, too.
Q) So why did you become a detective?
A) I wanted to be just like those detectives on the TV shows, always running around and wearing holes in my shoes! So that's why I became a detective, pal. I even got this coat to keep with the image of the cool detective! Q) So what's your real name?
A) Well, I gave my business card to Mr. Wright. Why don't you ask him?
Q) What's your family like?
A) Well, I do have a grandchild... ahh, but I'm sure you don't want to hear me ramble about that.
Q) What's your policy as a judge?
A) To have a long beard and a gavel. That way, when people look at me, they'll be able to say "now THAT looks like a judge!" They also did interviews with most of the minor characters, but I ended up being lazy and not doing them. XD ...If anyone really wants me to translate any of them, though, just ask and I'll give it a go.
