Still shielded by water, Leslie unveiled more miniature tornadoes and hurled them at the shadow nearest to her. The knight responded with a mirthless snicker, slashing at her with violet lightning. Leslie formed an icy blade of wind and lightning and began dueling. Cristhalle and Anaiis were still fighting, swords clanging against each other with force. Meanwhile, Chanandra and Norina throw lightning bolts at the foot-soldiers while the queen duels with two of the dark mages. Leslie sighed- she was getting tired and beginning to fear she would collapse soon. How much longer can we last?

Hannah started to panic, she was on the other side of the barrier, and she could see her friends couldn't hold out much longer, but if she found a hole in the barrier, a shadow would see and follow the rest in. The shadow seemed to smirk and drew out it's shadow sword. Hannah gathered up all her courage and took out her sword as well.

Leslie stared at the barrier seperating her from Hannah. There had to be a way to open it without letting the shadows escape. "Maybe we should just eliminate it altogether," she shouted over the wall, "and fight the whole lot of them together." The lead shadow grinned mirthlessly. "Oh, but you won't be doing that." Leslie groaned. She did not want to find out what the shadow meant, but she had a feeling she was probably going to soon.

Just when the shadow was about to strike, Hannah managed to block it with her sword. Then, she pressed hard against the other sword, and it went flying. Hannah stepped to the right and backwards, and fell in a gap in the barrier, luckily before the shadow could see.

((I Will Then))
Far away Kada and the leader were still locked in battle, Twisting and turning trying to find a weak spot repeatedly failed. After about 10 minutes of non-stop fighting Kada finally found an advantage. He sliced with his swords at the shadows neck and the other at his stomach, and the leader fell down destroyed. Far away the army all fell down for without the leader they could not funtion.

((Aren't I fighting him, far away from here?)) Oops. Sorry. I guess he just looked away from the battle for a moment, then. (Sorry I haven't been on for a while. I was out of town and didn't have any internet access.) Leslie's watery shield fell at once, just as the faes' wings brought them gently back down and Cristhalle released her sword, watching Anaiis dissolve into the soil with a strange expression on her face. "Well, that was... rather pointless," Leslie panted, exhausted from the effort of holding up her shield, "if we just had to destroy the leader to destroy them all, wasn't it? How did you do that, anyway?" she asked, glancing at Kada. "I didn't think they could be hurt by swords, but then again, Cristhalle is using one as well..." The girl sighed, collapsing against a tree. "Well, I'm exhausted..."

Hannah got up from the ground, looking around.
"What do we do, now that the shadows are destroyed?" Hannah asked to no one in particular.
Hannah went over to the tree and sat down.

"Now... we wait," Leslie replied, staring at the clouds as they drifted across the sky. But what are we waiting for?
