Norina jumped, her wings carrying her gracefully back down to the ground. "How did you find this realm?" she demanded. "Did you come in through Thailand?" "No matter. A sense an army of darkness coming our way. From the Shadow Nation of Anayanstra," Cristhalle sighed. "He might as well stay. Does he have magic?" Norina shrugged. "I sensed him multiply his energy output by about five on Earth," she replied, "but I don't know if he's seen the Orbs. Have you?" she asked as an afterthought.

"Strange," Norina remarked, "I could have sworn you did some sort of energy transition charm on Earth. Oh well, you can fight the shadows when the come." "Which would be now," Leslie replies, struggling to keep her voice calm. An army of shadow-knights, marching in a perfect diamond formation, was approaching them. The leader rode astride translucent, steel-gray horse with blank red eyes, a sword like Cristhalle's tied to the reins. An onyx helment, engraved with a flying serpent, hid his eyes from view while a sturdy steel shield covered his left side. The dark warriors behind him were foot-soldiers, some armed by thin silver sabres, others with spears and arrows, while a handful of them carried fiery orbs, ablaze with dark violet flames. Emily allowed a brilliant white orb to form in one hand and held it for all the shadows to see. "Okay, then. Let's do it," she ordered, voice regal. Following her command, Leslie shielded the group with water and prepared a small cyclone in her right palm. Cristhalle's sword illuminated itself, sending showers of red sparks toward the shadows. Chanandra, Norina, and the faerie queen flew overhead, poised to attack.

Kada charges toward the shadows swinging his swords in a manner that clears a path through the shadow army as he runs "see I don't need magic" he remarked as 35 shadow fell to the ground

Leslie disintegrated several of the knights with her cyclone and conjured a moving waterfall to drain energy from the rest of them. Cristhalle fenced with vigor and skill, her sharp sabre's power enhanced by enchantment. Emily stood still, sending lightning bolts on approaching warriors while the faes shot from overhead.

After about 150 shadows where destroyed Kada noticed that the leader was galloping away "Oh no you don't" he said as he started running faster than most humans, gaining quickly to the fleeing leader.

OCC: Possibly. I don't know. Ask Gentle_lil_queen.
IC: Leslie and Emily had sealed off most of the shadows in barriers composed of tightly-knit electric particles- a compromise of their powers. Cristhalle was busy fighting the shadow Anaiis, the one who had taken her parents. The faes still soared overhead, forever raining down rainbow light.

OCC: Okay, everyone's ignoring me. OOC: Oops, I guess I forgot about this thread. IC: Hannah looked up to the Shadow Knight, not showing any fear, though she was fearfull. She had no idea how to defeat the knight.

"Do you think you can add anything to the barrier Emily and I created?" Leslie pleaded, droplets of sweat gathering in her tawny hair. "I don't know how much longer I can hold out." "Can you summon the creatures of earth?" Emily mused, her child-like face calm. "Local wildlife?" Norina brightened considerably. "Unicorns, phoenixes, and dragons, then," she explained. But then the smile dissolved from her face, leaving a thoughtful frown in its place. "But I'm not sure they are creatures of earth. Spirit, light, and fire, more likely. But then again, you are connected to animals. Try it." Chanandra sent a gentle wave of lumiscent water sweeping over Leslie, replenishing her powers somehow. "Thanks," the girl murmured, flicking dewy drops out of her bangs. "Okay, again, I suppose." More cyclones flew out of her outstretched hand.

Hannah's eagle, which had traveled with her, was sitting on her shoulder. Hannah didn't realise it until she felt claws dig into her skin. She looked on her shoulder.
"Wow, I'm surprised it hasn't flown off or disappeared yet."
Hannah looked behind her and saw a barrier, with Leslie and the rest behind.

"What now?" Leslie demanded of Cristhalle, who was still locked in combat. "We fight," the mage grunted. But Leslie was beginning to wonder how long they could fight.

A shadow flew to Hannah, a sword drawn. Hannah tried to back away, but found that she couldn't go back any farther. The barrier was preventing that. She grasped her sword, ready to defend herself.
