Hannah turns again and tries to force the fire out. Eventually, she does, but when she looked up, she gasped. She saw red eyes on a tree. She approached the tree, but when she touched it, she felt like she'd just been shocked. She brought her hand away.
"Ow!" Hannah exclaimed. She backed away and a figure came out of the tree. Hannah turned around for help from Leslie or Nornina, but they were approached by a creature of the lake.

"What's going on?" Kada asked as red eyes started appearing everywhere "Yikes" he exclaimed as one of them dived at him barely missing his shoulder "This is not good" he said unsheathing his swords

Leslie fought the urge to scream and turned toward her tiny companion. "Norina, are they some of those enemies you were talking about?" The fae did not bother hiding her confusion. "No. Perhaps they are minions of one of my foes." The girl blasted a jet of water at one of the red-eyed creatures and took a closer look at it. It was a mysterious likeness, large blood-red eyes with golden pupils and gaping, shapeless mouths. The skin was shadow-black and seemed to be made of rotting silk; the graphite-gray hair hung in spikes around the pointed face. The creature laughed haughtily, sending a chill up Leslie's spine. "Water spout," it croaked in a voice from the grave. "That the best you can do, Gifted one? Go ahead, give me your best!" Suddenly, a wall closed around Leslie, shutting her out from her companions. The creature chuckled again. "Let us see how long you will last in here," it crooned, "The fae, the earth one and the battler are being taken care of by my friends."

Hannah faced the creature before turning around again.
"Leslie!" Hannah exclaimed.
"Forget it, Earth one," the creature in front of her said. "She has to battle."
"I beleive I have a name," Hannah said.
"Alright then, what is it?" The creature asked Hannah.
"My name is Hannah."
"Or so you think," the creature exclaimed. He made a wall around him and Hannah, like the one Leslie was in, only invisible.
"If you want to know your true name, you will have to win a battle against me."
"So be it." Hannah concentrated and turned Vanayara- like. She grabbed her dark vine-sword before turning back, making the vine a bright vine.

Leslie looks at the wall around her. "Will I have to fight you as well?" she demands. "Is this what you do, have battles with children?" Disgust is scrawled over her features, masking the fear deep within her. The creature laughed again. "Children, water one? You are Gifted, so you must be destroyed. Come, fight me!" Leslie closes her eyes, summoning the power deep within her.

Hannah opened her hand with the orb floating on it. The creature was entangled with vines, but that meant Hannah couldn't reach the creature with her vine sword and not get entangled. So, she summoned an eagle.

My power is not just centered around water, Leslie thought to herself, but human nature as well. If I can get this... thing into a human form, I can defeat it. "Norina!" the girl shouted through the wall. "Can you transfigure other creatures?" Leslie sensed rather than saw the fae nod. "I'll see what I can do!" Norina replied, shouting to be heard through the barrier. "Natrsche du Tamnalay. Human nature, in its fallibility, must be destroyed by itself." The shadow-creatures musty skin faded until it was a sickly shade of ivory. It screamed in a voice that was definitely female and human. Leslie's hands encased themselves around a white-and-azure beam. "Now let's see what you are thinking," she hissed. The girl frowned in concentration. "You are thinking of the lake. You can not survive without it." Leslie sighed. Drain the lake. Easier said than done. The girl's eyes were closed again, her mind wrapped around an image of a dry lakebed. The tinkling melody of wind chimes filled her mind, and when she opened her eyes, the lake was empty. Norina and Vivien stood before her, smiling. The shadow-creature screamed, screamed so loudly and horribly and loudly that the tree limbs shattered. The red-rimmed eyes faded to a sickly pink, and the creature was gone. Leslie smiled as the barrier around her fell. She was free. "Hannah? Kada?" she inquired. "How are you guys doing?"

The eagle went up to the shadow to poke the creature's eyes, but he only went through them.
"I have to get this demon into some sort of form! But how? I can't just use my persuading powers to... wait! Mabye I can! Demon! Do you realise what you are doing? Rather than ruling the world and helping by destroying us, you'd just be destroying the world, making it not only the end of us, but of you!"
Unfortunately, the persuasion failed.
"How can I get this demon in human form?"

Norina was busy warding off the shadow-creatures with beams of rainbow light. "Do you need any help, Hannah?" she grunted, throwing a spark at an advancing minion. "I can get them into human form like I did with Leslie's."

Hannah overheard Nornina.
"Please do!" Hannah exclaimed to Leslie.
The entanglement wore off and the shadow approached Hannah.

"Okay," Norina prepared herself to utter the incantation once more. "Natrsche du Tamnalay. Human nature, in its fallibility, must be destroyed by itself.." Something strange happened with the spell. Instead of transfiguring just Hannah's demon, all of the shadow-creatures were now human. Norina grinned. Battling an army of shadow-minions was nearly impossible, but mortals could be easily defeated. "Humans, your will are mine," the fae murmured under her breath. Her eyes began to glow in all the colors of the rainbow, and she forced the creatures to use their own magic to destroy themselves. The demons faded slowly, dissolving into the trees. Only Hannah's nemesis was left.

Norina shook her head uncertainly. "It is Hannah's Test, and therefore Hannah's responsibility," she explained. "She is required to use her own element. But you are welcome to try."

"There is an invisible wall here. No one can get past it until I complete the battle," Hannah said.
Hannah raised her sword and slashed at the creature. The creature now had a cut on his arm. It growled and slashed at Hannah. Hannah screamed a cry of pain. She waved her hands, the orb in her hand growing larger.
"Sainrara sumaul, remnin, erwarqua"
A tree fell on top of the demon who was a human. It couldn't move. It only grinned and started doing the same, only he had a dark orb.
"Requara Saino Porrarid"
A huge blast of dark energy came out of the creature's hands, knocking Hannah to the wall. The eagle screeched. And flew towards the human. He pecked at his eyes.
"GRRAAHHH!!!" The demon screamed. He was blind, but his dark powers helped him see. He chanted a spell, and the tree disappeared. Hannah got up. She stared deep into the eyes of the demon. She murmered some words.
"Trena Quare"
The demon was suddenly surrounded by dandelions, gleaming off light. It screamed.
"ARRRGGHHH!!!" The creature ducked, trying to avoid the light. He may be blind, but his dark powers weren't. The creature disappeared, and the invisible wall disappeared. Hannah put her hand in front of her as she walked, just in case.
