Yey, revival :3 I am thinking about expanding my gallery, theme wise...'Water' in the name of the item seems too specific to some people...mayve change it to Maraquan? xD

Maraquan is also very broad...and very expensive. -chuckles- But another world gallery would be lovely!

Hmm...items which have direct connection with Water /and/ items with 'water' in their names? xD Those will exclude stuff like Maraquan PB or anything Maracite/Maractite
*hmm*

How about sea shells? There are a bunch of great shell-related items out there.
Or utility fishes, but those are a bit expensive...

How about a seafood gallery? That would be unique, I think.

How about a seafood gallery? That would be unique, I think. Ooh, that's good! Or a sushi gallery. Being specific is wonderful.

But I still want to keep these old items, since some of them were from friends, or others I spent a nice amount of them (probably you spent more, but still xDD)

Keep them, of course. Have a seperate category for those items. ^^
I just added a new section to my gallery. It has all of the accompaniments you add to coffee, hot chocolate and tea like milk and cream.
I'm missing one unbuyable right now and I just went to offer for it. -squee- I really want to win the Gallery Spotlight. <3

Smart new category, Char. Maybe you could expand on that & get all sorts of goblets and mugs and tea sets too. Too broad? This person has a goblet gallery: www.neopets.com/gallery/index.phtml?gu=dogvet fun to browse if nothing else. (I noticed that she has a coffee section too, but I'm sure you have all those items already...)

Hrm, I don't know, Lark. I want mine to be utterly focused on caffeine, not the mugs in which they are held in.
-malicious grin-
I think I WILL buy those big gulp neocolas. They will probably cost 16m in total to get, but they will complete my gallery. What do you guys think? Should I buy the r99 colas?

If you are serious about it, then go for it :3 I wouldn't buy them, mainly because it would take me years to get 16m and I wouldn't have the heart to spend it xDD Or maybe I would? Anyway, I don't think I was any help, no ? xDD

I have to admit I have one of the most cliched galleries in the world - I collect plushies. I would love to win the gallery spotlight, but I know I won't as it is just too often done and I have no idea of coding! But even so, I wouldn't change it for the world. It's what I'm passionate about collecting on neopets (and even in real life as I collect teddies!), and I wouldn't feel happy collecting anything else!

I would like to enter after I complete more of my Angel gallery. But I can't code, and there probably won't be an Angel Day (though they might decide to use it for an Angelpuss day).
They say they care more about completeness, but they also said that people who can't code have little to no chance.
Why should the look of a gallery matter at all, anyway? The NT seems to be the only talent place that I can actually get into and be seen.

The NT seems to be the only talent place that I can actually get into and be seen. I agree with you completely on that - the look should matter but it shouldn't matter whether you can code it yourself or use pre-set ones. Providing they fit the gallery etc then they should have as much of a chance as those who actually know how to code. The gallery itself is meant to be a place to collect and store the things which you want others to see. It is the collection that should matter, and how much effort you have put into gaining the items in the collection and organising it. It should not automatically exclude people who have no idea of how to code a gallery (or for that matter anything), as that shouldn't be the point of a gallery. It's to show off the items you've collected...not how fancy you can be with a computer.
