Awesome, thanks for the help Yoyote! I think I decided on a topic for an alternate gallery. It'll have 40 items (including the ones from the NC Mall). (37 of those items that I know I can afford right now.) Do you think that'd be large enough of a gallery to submit to the spotlight?

Yes, that should be large enough. The gallery that won #307 had only 37 items, and I've seen others with 50-60 items, so 40 should be alright. Good luck!!!

Hm? I thought I fixed the categories for the spotlight. I guess I didn't.
I was just editing my gallery, and putting the CSS code from the preset themes to the main description so that it would show up when I set it to 'no main theme'. But then I pasted the background URL into that, and now it shows up behind the items instead of the grey area behind the site. I kind of liked it there, does anyone know the background positioning that will put it back?

Beautiful gallery, ButterflyGirl! I like the description and background. I was just editing my gallery, and putting the CSS code from the preset themes to the main description so that it would show up when I set it to 'no main theme'. But then I pasted the background URL into that, and now it shows up behind the items instead of the grey area behind the site. I kind of liked it there, does anyone know the background positioning that will put it back? xD I want to know the opposite. For the gallery on my side account, I want the background directly behind the items but don't know how to do that. www.neopets.com/gallery/index.phtml?gu=swordlilly

I see that your background code is this: body { background-image: url(http://images.neopets.com/backgrounds/chombybk.gif);} a { color: #020ea8; font-family: verdana; font-size: small; font-weight: bold; } a:hover, a:active { color: #020ea8; font-family: verdana; font color: #a1a7fd; font-size: small; font-weight: bold; } #container {width: 800px; margin: auto;} What if you replaced the underlined word 'body' with 'content'? Edit: Well, that went easy enough. I copied and pasted Yoyote's background code and deleted the preset CSS code, and now it's back in the right place. *resubmits and telepathically zombifies the judges - or at least attempts to*

Glad I helped you in a roundabout way. xP I tried replacing "body" with "content," but that made the background completely disappear. Ah well. I shall devote most of my energies to my main account gallery first, and then worry about the jelly gallery when I find time. I'm very happy today because I added The Storyteller to my "Writing Accomplishments" wing, and purchased a few new pencils and swords. 84 items in total, now!

Okay, then try this: <style type="text/css"> .content{ background-color:#FFFFFF; background-image: url(http://images.neopets.com/backgrounds/chombybk.gif); } </style>
That's what I pasted in my main description, with the general table layout for my gallery pages, but I took that out.

I'm not a fan of the gallery spotlight. A good majority of the galleries that win are galleries that required little work and contain inexpensive items. TNT tends to overlook the large galleries that took people years to create.
