The Gallery Spotlight Item hoarders unite! Great idea for a thread, Yoyote!
I really hope that when I get the rest of my Candychans, my gallery will win the spotlight. ^_^ The only cheap thing I need left is a Maraquan Petpet Paint Brush, then I need three more stamps and nine Candychans. ^^; Just a measly 325 million NP goal. ^^;
I really don't have a good title for it, though. I used my best Candychan title for my petpage (The Candychan Sanctuary). I also need to figure out gallery coding one of these days. ^^;
Your gallery is really clever, though, Yoyote! *wishes you luck in submitting*

A gallery spotlight thread! What fun! I won the spotlight several years ago with my gallery of bouncy balls, so I have a bit of knowledge on the subject. My own gallery has sort of fallen into disrepair lately, but I still try to keep up on the items. *shakes fist at the dozen or so unreleased bouncy balls* |

Ah Eagle! I was making a pen/pencil/quill gallery before I grew bored with it a few months ago... plus, it was so broad! I don't plan on really entering the gallery spotlight; my gallery is the cliched collection of items from my stories in the NT.  But it's something to work for, and as long as I keep writing, it'll keep growing. |

My gallery right now is a junk heap of pretty things, cute things, and things that people have given to me.
My dream gallery would be to make a gallery of all the items on neopets that have typos/funny mistakes in them. I would call it "They're human after all" ;D haha. I had a (tiny) list of items with typos in the desc, but I don't know where I stuffed it. Darn it!

And I understand what you mean about trying to collect items in a broad category... xP I came up with the idea of Pencil v.s. Sword so that I wouldn't have to collect ALL the writing utensils or ALL the weapons in Neopia. Hmm... right now I need the newly-released Heart Pencil, Fat Pencil and Star Pencil. They're rare item code prizes, and are all UB. Financial-savvy people, would you recommend buying them now, or waiting for the price to deflate? I'm really not sure. I'll also need to think about what swords to pair them with. *looks through Jellyneo's item database* |

I did get a held-over neomail, but this was years and years ago, back when you submitted by email. The system has probably changed somewhat since then, but I'm not sure how. Thanks for the advice. I'll wait perhaps a week or two, before the resellers jump in to inflate prices once more. =o I already know what I'll pair the Star Pencil with. =D A Blade of Ultranova. They match perfectly!   The only seller of the Blade of Ultranova is stubbornly demanding 2.4 mil, but it's worth 1.25 mil according to Jellyneo. =/ After trying unsuccessfully to negotiate, I decided to wait a little for another opportunity. I hope it isn't stubbornness on my part though... I wouldn't want to miss the right opportunity. I wonder what I should pair the Fat Pencil with when I acquire it. A Stale Candy Blade, or a Kiko Sword, perhaps?    And what about the Heart Pencil...? That one's pretty hard. xP   - matches visually, but not in terms of meaning...
