Yay halfway point! I think I have about enough plot to make it to the end at this point on. So I guess I should start leading into those epic plot points I've been waiting so long for. Whee! On a random side note, sometime in early December we're apparently having this little talent show type thing... and I'm strangely tempted to lug in my 50,000 word novel. >_> I'm more likely to just print off a random excerpt, though. Don't wanna kill my poor printer.

I stayed home sick today, but that's actually really good. XD I'm horribly behind, and this gives me the chance to make up for all the days I haven't been able to write for.

<3 Hooray, today I've began writing my first very epic fight scene. Katana fighting between parody Sues for the win!

The Nano robot counter took away over 200 words when I copy and pasted my novel.
Depressing. ;_;

Uck. I had the most horrible stomach flu/food poisoning/passing out and cracking up head at 2am. So. I'm rather behind and don't think it's going to happen this year

D: I guess this means I'll have to write 200 extra words when it gets down to the end of November. But hopefully that won't be a problem... I know it wasn't last year, anyways. EDIT: ...'Kay, so I looked again and it's really only like 40 words. XD; *tired brain* But it's still 40 more words that I'll have to write dangit!

There's a very strong possibility of me (gasp) not finishing this year. I thought I would pump out a bunch of words today but now I have two history projects and a chem test to study for and I just don't know if I'll have the time...like, ever.
Ughhh.

I just got out of a similar boat @_@ I spent the past two day writing a speech and making a visual aid for it...in addition to some papers I had to at least start writing, this week's been a bad one for my poor NaNo. It probably didn't help that I wasn't enjoying the part I was writing.

Yeah, I'm done. My NaNo died. XD I mean, my plot is still substantial, but I'm way too far behind and I got a wave of inspiration for a part in Requiem. So, I pulled an ADD. I might spew out a few more words before the month is over, but it's not very likely that I will finish NaNo. XD

I just fail'd NaNo hard when I saved over a large portion of my work. XD
It was my own fault, I wasn't paying full attention. XD Saving over work is something I never do with art... but I guess since writing isn't my league, I wasn't quite as attentive. XD

I've never accidentally saved over anything and I intend to keep it that way by obsessively making backups.

Note to self: don't try experimenting with Write or Die's kamikaze mode at school. A couple classmates came by to tell me something about a schedule change and I had to minimize the window; by the time I opened it again, almost everything had been erased. *headdesk*

People, always remember which version of your NaNo you are currently working on. I just lost 500 words of really awesome dialogue just because I saved over the version of my NaNo that I had written it in with a version that I had on my desktop.

At least I'm not the only one to accidently save over my NaNo. XD
Unfortunately, I lost more than half of my entire NaNo instead of just xxx words. XD

Well, ever since we did that hard disc repair on this computer, it hasn't crashed... so I assume that means whatever was causing it to crash is fixed now. So hopefully my novel should be pretty well safe now. *knocks on wood* On a side note... making your character have a mental breakdown is FUN. >DDD
