Say… do you think it's cheating to use speach-to-text software? Well, it would be in word wars, but what about just plain writing? What's peach-to... Oh. Speech. XD That was a bad typo. I don't think it would be cheating. You're still using the words, whether you're typing them, writing them, or speaking them.

Oh no. D: That's horrible. I'm so sorry, Eri. After reading all these stories, I think I'm going to go back up my NaNo. D= Oh no! I'm so sorry Eri! *hugs* Thanks, guys. Now, go back up your novels.
Hmm… I'm not sure I have to worry. *is using Google Dors, hence her story is online* Oh yeah, apparently it also periodically saves itself.

Question: For now, I'm just picking up from where I left off, in hopes that I will be able to sort this all out eventually. BUT... if it doesn't fix itself... would it be bad if I just keep writing, finish the story, and then just paste in the 10k-odd other words that I lost from another document for the official verification?
I'm still bummed out about losing all my work and very scared about losing stuff again (because I've been having issues with MS Word, I've been using WordPerfect 12, which is a bit flaky) but I'd be even more bummed if I had to start all over. =/

Ughhhh... I still have so much to write... I hate falling behind, but I just couldn't get a chance to write yesterday. ._. And now I'm just not in the mood.
Lucky for me, though, I'm writing a RaexJustin scene, so I just have to recount one of the memories of me and Mike. XD YAY. *goes off to finish the laundry before returning to writing*

And I guess if you had extra time, you could go back and start rewriting the beginning... I hope it does work out, though- have you tried restarting your computer? Sometimes my laptop completly wigs out (can't find the Internet, can't find file), but it's fine when I reboot it.

Just passed 10k and caught up to the word quota! Well, according to NaNo time anyway. By my clock I should already be working on the Day 7 quota. That'll be later today I guess. Already fell behind. ><; Removed the wordcount from my name since I'm not proud of it anymore. XD; Aww, you can do it, Ginz! In my first year I fell way behind in the first few days and spent the month catching up, but I managed it in the end. :3

As I type this, I have 12,345 words. ...Yeah, just thought I'd say that. *goes to continue writing, especially considering that she stopped in the middle of a sentence*

I'm approaching the part of the plot that I did not plan. T_T I anticipate strong writer's block in the very near future and don't like it.

Ever have a character, who you were expecting to appear in the story maybe once ever, suddenly jump out at you and go "HAI MAKE ME AN IMPORTANT CHARACTER "? XDDD Goodness, Virrin, one little 'ship idea and suddenly you start diving head-first into my plot. Not that I'm complaining, since plot is always nice. On a side note, I've actually had to correct myself from using the wrong place name at least twice now. >_>; You don't wanna get Eyridia and Auclay confused, PFA. That would be a bad idea. I'm approaching the part of the plot that I did not plan. T_T I anticipate strong writer's block in the very near future and don't like it. Aw yeah, I know the feeling. ; Got it a lot last year, and am getting it a bunch this year, too. I've kinda been forcing myself to make up a lot of plot as I go along. A surprising lot of it is music-inspired so far. At least I keep getting these little inspiration bursts as I make my on-a-whim plot, which is nice. ^_^

This year, not so much, so far I've planned out most of the characters...but in last year's NaNo, I had a character mentioned to give two other characters a conversation topic, and then she ended up being a semi-minor antagonist who was very important to the story. That plot thing has been happening; yesterday and today, to be specific. Today's went well, flowed nicely, but yesterday...yeesh. I spent a good part of the day trying to figure out something one of my MCs would need to get to the other MC as soon as possible. It was a ridiculous waste of time ><

Haha I haaate being plot blocked. And the only time I can think about it is when I'm going to bed, otherwise I get way too distracted and potentially forget everything. I sort of planned a lot of it out in advance, but then it all kind of dwindles into general ideas.. I'm not sure HOW things are going to happen, but I do know WHAT /needs/ to happen in order to progress. XD So I have a veeeeeeeeeeeeery rough outline goin' on. xp Rar, road block.
