Gaaah, I still can't fight it. I hoped that when I lost enogh times, it would get weaker, but it doesn't. I really need to train Chankyton more x__x he can survive three rounds, but then the Moach heals and it's over. Gaaaaahh. Anybody know a good multiple-use defense item?

Patched Magic Hat would be best against it, but Leaf Shield is still decent... both have shot up in price drastically this war, though... x.o Downsize! is once per battle, but is extremely good to have around (halves the damage you receive one round no matter what the opponent uses against you.) If you don't have it already, burrow is an incredibly good defense against it, but once per battle (4 bottled earth faeries).

In some cases when you use Downsize!, you can actually get out of almost all damage an opponent throws at you. If you use that, a strong weapon like a Scarab Ring, and even a species attack to add a couple more icons, it's possible to turn the odds to your favour very quickly. =3 If you're surviving three rounds each time, it's clear you're not exactly a lost cause. xD

Thanks for the Leaf Shield tip, though I'll try this one.

Good luck, I hope you can beat it. ^-^

Regarding characters kissing on Neo.. well, anybody played Kiss The Mortog lately? I saw a comic in the NT that showed this, and when the frog transformed, the princess and the dude were still kissing. So in my opinion TNT needs to relax a little. Which comic was it? If it's the one I think it is, that one got pulled. Then again, there are LOADS of Kiss The Mortog comics.

XD I actually find it a funny comic. And I love the art. =3 I remember a Mortog comic that was just so weird that we were all " "ing at it on the reviews board. Must go dig it up and refresh my memory... Edit: Whoa. It did get pulled. I found the board where people were talking about it, but the link just takes you to the front page of issue 267. I clearly remember that it existed, though... if I recall, there was something of a kiss between a pet and a no-longer-a-Mortog princess.

Waaa, I died in one turn ;_; that so totally killed all the self-confidence I'd built up from pummeling the first bug... We have to battle a gigantic mooch. *bursts out laughing* 'battle a gigantic mooch'... sorry, it's just... *starts laughing again* ...*gaps for breath*...that's a hilarious typo. If I had a gigantic freeloader on my hands, I'd want to fight him off too!

I've been absent for a while because I got addicted to 'Aveyond'. Thank goodness I remembered to check for plot updates. XXDD Anyway, I've just returned from beating the bug twice. I'm contemplating having another go at it but I'm afraid. XD The first time, Fuyue was hurt but her HP didn't go down to the red level. The second time around, she barely won. At the end of the fight, she had 2 HP left. *wince* Btw, I used the weapons I got for the last battle: scarab ring, stone club, lesser healing scroll, and downsize! EDIT: Okay, scratch that. I tried for a third time and poor Fuyue lost. And the Healing Springs Faerie keeps giving me potions instead of healing my pets. XD I still want to defeat the Moach, though. Any suggestions? Too bad Fuyue's level isn't enough for her to gain Burrow. *le sigh* *waves fist at secret lab* Well, a greater healing scroll would be better with how many hp your techo has (it heals 50 instead of 25). If you could upgrade the scarab ring into something stronger like another stone club (or gold handled katana is slightly weaker, but much cheaper) it would help out too. I wish I bought a GHS instead of the Lesser Healing one before. <_< Btw, is it advisable to use 2 attack weapons at once? I was going to try to attack with the Stone Club and Scarab Ring but then that would mean I wouldn't have any defense. :/ My Techo doesn't have Burrow so she can only use the 'Defend' option.

As well as decreasing the amount of damage inflicted upon you, Defend also decreases the amount of damage you inflict that round, so I don't know if that's the best option either. >.> Speaking as an entirely non-1337 amateur battler, I usually don't use any defense at all besides Burrow and Sink. If you have a good healer, and have enough good attacks on you to knock out your opponent before he does so to you, then there shouldn't be any problem with using two weapons at once. It all depends on what works for you based on your pet's stats and abilities, but sometimes the best defense is a good offense when it comes to battling. =3

Hmm, I've attacked with two weapons before and just used a species ability (kougra swat in my case) and have been ok, but I guess it all depends on what the moach decides to do (that berserk is brutal x.x ). In later rounds after it's used up the stone snowball it may be a little safer to try that out. *shrug* Defend may reduce damage dealt to you, but reduces the damage you deal at the same time as well (vice versa for fierce). I prefer species abilities over those, myself... techo glare would at least add an extra 2 fire with no drawbacks if you feel you could survive the hit without defend.

What kind of ability is "sink"? I can't find it in the abilities list. And I also decided to train Chanky. The best I could do was get the Moach down to 28 HP after he healed himself.
