What kind of ability is "sink"? I can't find it in the abilities list. And I also decided to train Chanky. The best I could do was get the Moach down to 28 HP after he healed himself. Sink is the 8th dark ability, you have to be level 30 to learn it. It blocks out light, dark, fire, water, and physical (similar to burrow, but different icons) once per battle.

I just remembered that I only fought the monster once, and a new part might be coming out this evening. >.> This guy gets pretty hard pretty fast, doesn't he? That life drain and berserk attack are nasty; I'm beginning to need six or seven rounds to defeat him now, and I've only fought five times.

I'm a pretty hopeless battledomer. None of my pets have any faerie abilities and my pet with the highest HP doesn't have very good stats. XD I hope that not fighting this moach doesn't deplete me of too many plot points... X(

I'm pretty sure losing to plot opponents doesn't deduct points.

Ouch. He beat me with 22 HP left. There's no way I can ever beat this dude, oh well. I wish I had actually fought the previous one, lol...

I really want a new puzzle. ^^ If there's a new battle I won't be able to fight, anyway. I mean, there's no chance future battles will be easier than this one, is there? Generally the opponents always get increasingly stronger... so no. I barely defeated the moach once.

Okay... this is probably just wishful thinking on my part, but is there any way to raise a pet's HP other than the training school or the lab ray? Because my royal shoyru has all the good stats, coming from almost 4 years of coltzan's shrine visits and the like, but her HP is only 21. And I do NOT want to zap her with the lab ray, nor spend millions of neopoints and lots of time training her... I suppose I could make a new battle pet and zap them with the lab ray, but the pound is down and I don't want to train my current lab pet because I don't like them that much. :S Let's hope the pound gets up soon, maybe...

Generally the opponents always get increasingly stronger... so no. I barely defeated the moach once. My guess is that the majority of plot-solvers found this one as difficult as we did, so I don't know if they could possibly expect too many people to win against several more increasingly harder opponents. I'm not saying that there aren't plenty of people out there who could do it, but usually in a battledome plot there are several lower-difficulty challengers for more inexperienced battlers. Maybe they'll bring in a few opponents all at once next time, including some easier ones again. Or, maybe it'll be primarily puzzles from now on. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. ... I beat the Moach 10 times and I'm afraid to go much further. ^^; I had 16 out of 211 hp left last time, from being able to knock him out with one round the first time I tried.

You can try the kitchen quests, but those are a little risky when you have four pets, because any stat boost affects a random pet.

There's always dark and faerie queen quests when you get them. Coltzan sometimes is nice too, hard to argue with free. *shrug* Certain neggs raise hp too, but it is normally more cost effective just to train stats at the training schools unless you have hundreds of hp already. I hear kitchen quests may give out stats too, but you likely won't end up getting a stat point each time, and it's given randomly to one of your pets when you do, so not much control there if you have multiple pets.
