Ouch. Tough bug. I lost to him the first time and am now trying to devise a strategy while I wait for the Healing Springs to heal Sparkler. I'm really not a battler; I'm not sure I can beat this one. That's the first time in a plot that I can't fight the second pet... T__T I'm not a good battledomer... *sigh* I could beat it if it hadn't had a scorchstone >_> makes you wonder what the 3rd bug will be. I never had any favorite petpetpets in the past, but thus far, the mootix is the only petpetpet i want hanging around my petpets. herbivore and gentle. Will there be other gentle petpetpet? please may it be so. Would hate to see the giant Moquot...how many neopets is considered a "full meal"? *feeling sick* Well, considering that fleas apparently become gentle herbivores when increased in size...

Anyone got a good weapon suggestion for me? I don't think I'll be able to bulk Laurana up enough to beat him in time.

Please don't spam, thanks ^___^ In case you don't understand, posting single meaningless words like that is known as spamming. I'm sure it would be a lot better for you and others if you added something nice and constructive to the conversation ^^

You know, I was thinking last night. Seeing as Neopets is starting to broaden their horizon a little as far as plot, art, and site content go, you think maybe....just MAYBE they'll put a little romance into this story with Roxy and Lillian? I'm not talking like....you know, like heavy drama or sappy stuff, but like....g-rated material? I mean, you can have romance without being inappropriate or half-baked like the "Lost Desert" plot. Even a small kiss would be fine for younger people. (Hello? Little Mermaid anyone?)
That's probably just my own love life talking. I'm dating a really nice guy now and I got my romance mind in full-gear. But does anyone agree?

Yeah, I'd like to see a bit of romance every now and then.

*agrees* But I'll get enough points from the puzzles to make up for it, I bet. That reminds me! If the puzzles get any harder, then it's two against me! Maybe they'll get easier? Or maybe this Moach isn't so bad! I'm gonna go try it. THIS JUST IN: The blighter ravaged me to pieces. Looks like I missed the bus on this one. As for romance, NeoStaff hasn't gone as far as kissing yet, would they do such a thing? Disney might be g-rated, but NeoStaff has a history of being very strict with content, and even some Disney things might not fly. Then again, NeoStaff has a history of changing their minds. If someone DOES kiss, this will take down another wall for people who might want to rice up their stories with a little romance as well.

Wow, sorry I was just marking my place in the board! I dont want ot go through 38 pages to find my post! It's still spamming and I've never heard of 'marking places' before, not like that at least. This is just a friendly reminder not to do this in the future, as it could get you into trouble.

Wow, sorry I was just marking my place in the board! I dont want ot go through 38 pages to find my post! Even if you want to mark your place, it's usually better to try and say something related to the discussion at the same time. ^^ About romance, Lillian and Roxy seem to be making ample 'shipper fodder of themselves already. I'm leaning towards doubting that TNT will start letting their characters kiss; they've kept a tight hold on it in the past. Though remembering some panels from the Lost Desert plot, I might not be too surprised if they did. At least when there's no clearly defined pairings, though, 'shippers can support who they like. Whereas when there's a canon love story, someone's bound to be disappointed... Tomos/Nabile... *sniff*

Regarding characters kissing on Neo.. well, anybody played Kiss The Mortog lately? I saw a comic in the NT that showed this, and when the frog transformed, the princess and the dude were still kissing. So in my opinion TNT needs to relax a little.
Anybody got a good strategy for the evil Moach. It's my first time doing the battle dome in a plot before, but I want to get points for the plot shop at the end.. maybe I'll get an island pb... or something mutant. What is weird is that it said my damage was only 23 and I have 105 HP ... but my Lupe lost completely.

Well, Downsize! can block half of one of the attacks and is under 10k (once per battle, halves all icons used against you). Greater Healing Scroll may come in handy too if you don't already have one. Looks like inflation from this bug have kicked in on Patched Magic Hat (would have been great on it, but waaay too expensive now). Burrow/sink abilities have saved me in this fight many times, but it seems your lupe's level is too low for them now (burrow is learnable lv 10, sink much later). It does drain life sometimes too, and that doesn't show the damage it dealt at the bottom. It also has a light reflector that may have hit you if you used light damage on it too.

I've been absent for a while because I got addicted to 'Aveyond'. Thank goodness I remembered to check for plot updates. XXDD Anyway, I've just returned from beating the bug twice. I'm contemplating having another go at it but I'm afraid. XD The first time, Fuyue was hurt but her HP didn't go down to the red level. The second time around, she barely won. At the end of the fight, she had 2 HP left. *wince* Btw, I used the weapons I got for the last battle: scarab ring, stone club, lesser healing scroll, and downsize! EDIT: Okay, scratch that. I tried for a third time and poor Fuyue lost. And the Healing Springs Faerie keeps giving me potions instead of healing my pets. XD I still want to defeat the Moach, though. Any suggestions? Too bad Fuyue's level isn't enough for her to gain Burrow. *le sigh* *waves fist at secret lab*

If you could upgrade the scarab ring into something stronger like another stone club (or gold handled katana is slightly weaker, but much cheaper) it would help out too.
