They defeat the giant bug and make it to the river. Roxton, being a Lutari and all, just hikes up his pant legs and is preparing to wade or swim across, since he likes water. He puts his pack on his head. In the next panel, he poses with one leg dramatically over the water, as Lillian rushes forward and says "Roxton! NO! Stop!" Just as one toe is about to enter the water, she pulls him back.

Then she says "We need to test that water first, sir! You don't know what could be living in there!" Then she pulls out a large hunk of meat and lowers it into the water with a rope. There is a swirling and churning. She picks the rope up, and there are all these pyranas eating the meat, the one leaps up and bites through the rope, coming dangerously close to her hand. Then the meat and rope fall back into the water and disappear forever.

And Roxton, instead of being grateful just makes a joke like "And to think you were carrying that large peice of meat this whole time!"

You know, you have a real talent for plots! I just wished it was true, because that sounds good! ^___^

In other news, I healed Candy and he's fighting the monster now! Yaaaay! 24 wins so far. I'm hoping to get at least 200...but I know it'll be hard, not to mention tedious! XD

The battledome isn't lagging so much this time, so it isn't as bad as it was last time. Still tedious, but at least there isn't the lag. I don't know if that is because some people quit neopets and aren not on, or if that is because the new layout makes it faster to load, or what.

When I want to heal my pets, I use dewberry revivers.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that puzzle somewhere back there, then again, by the time I'm done saying this someone will probably have already solved it. Either way, it shouldn't be a problem.

Speaking of which, did anyone notice that the Leaf Shield just did a QUANTUM LEAP in price? It went from 15k, to 48k. It's so good against this guy, and everyone knows it.

Oh, I have an account, it's just that I kind of left it for a while, I'm busy working on a project. A loooooooooong project. If I can get it done by July 7th, it's gonna be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

I've been using the Astronomy Club against the bugs, just for the sake of the mental images =3 My battle pet has nigh 100 HP so right now the bug aren't a bother *just got started*

The Battledome ain't helping with the mental images though x.x The lack of battle poses is sad. My fierce ninja Uni just stands there and looks cute.

As for weapons, the Scroll of Dark Nova/Scarab Ring combo works wonders. So does SoDN/Lost Desert Dagger combo, and any of them combined with Obsidian Dagger, and basically the more icons, the better *sage nod* When the pet has enough HP, you won't have to worry about defense and can finish the bug with one round.

At first, that is.

This monster has grown to the point where my defenses are not enough to protect against the Snow Mudball! I need to get Burrow!

But three whole Earth Faeries? Money doesn't grow on trees...

I'm still trying to do the 2nd puzzle. D: I keep on going all "I'm motivated, I'm gonna go try do it and I will get it!" and then ten minutes later it's back to "... I give up ;__;" for another couple of days.
How many of these puzzles are there total, by the way, if anyone knows?

There are three puzzles in all but beware; the third one is the hardest as it has more items and more squares in the grid. If you want, you can ask for help here and post your puzzle so that other people can try and solve it. I won't be able to help, but others might be able to.
