I'm willing to splurge on some more expensive BD items now. XD This bug gets boring to defeat when you use the same attacks again and again. Any suggestions? If you don't already have the burrow ability, it is nice for blocking most of the attacks (just keep blessing with earth faeries until you get it). :3 As far as weapons go, Psellia's fighting fan and golden compass (3 fire, 3 light, 3 air, blocks 2.6 dark) are nice. Can you get Burrow at Level 1? *hasn't checked abilities* I got a Stone Club instead of the fan. I kind of like it. I'll see about that Golden Compass. What do you think of: Frozen Wand of Crystals Cloudy Wand of Storms I want to get one of those. ^_^

Both are nice with the defense built in, it should help take a little of the attacks. This foe uses a light blocker, so the cloudy wand of storms may get in more damage with this particular opponent, but the air from the frozen wand of crystals is tougher to block in most other battles.

Oh, well. Since Fuyue is the lab pet, she'll keep on getting back to Level 1 at the rate I'm going. I should really try to learn about this thing with icons in the BD. Ehehe...I hope I find an online buyer of one of those wands before prices inflate even more. XD

Ugh D:
What with the new less-than-a-week-old account of ours, me and Huggsy aren't gonna be able to do any of the battling. Hope there's a proper puzzle side to this.

Taking a break at 125 wins. *Pats Finns on the head* I'm still getting by on good looks (well, and weapons and stats). But, sheesh...that leaf shield will definitely come in handy soon. Ugh D: What with the new less-than-a-week-old account of ours, me and Huggsy aren't gonna be able to do any of the battling. Hope there's a proper puzzle side to this. You can beat him at least a few times if you have the right equipment. I'll send you a few things.

D: Either way every battle so far has resulted in immediate death for our pets, even with your items. Ah well. ^__^;; Thanks again though :3

Well, I've gotten 15 wins so far (fear my lack of BD skills)... but the Challenge Opponent page says I've only beaten him three times, even though his HP keeps going up. *is puzzled* I'll keep fighting him, but I hope the extra battles count. Heh, I couldn't find him for a while either. Poor Rourke, they are mean to him! Roxton especially; the Prof. and Lilian both kind of have this starry-eyed absent-minded academic thing going. (Even Roxton is getting frazzled. *g*) Although I confess... I kinda hope she takes down the bug herself (or in equal measure) instead of just being rescued. And speaking of taking down the bug.... ...That is the most awesome timing ever.

Well, got 250 wins. That's enough for tonight.
Nick--Glad I could help! I'm sorry they aren't more useful.

I don't have a Battledome Pet (my pets all have terrible HP) but I'm using Scarab Ring + Leaf Shield and it's working really well.

Arg. I moved my battledome pet (103 HP) to a side a while ago and now the pound is down for maintenance. *sighs* I've got four wins with another of my pets, but it's not the same. x(

King Kong!! *nodnod* The cave on the first panel of the second page looks IDENTICAL to where they stranded. *goes checking for pictures, but can't find any*

Um.
What?
I have one battle pet and I can't use him. He isn't hungry, he's got hit points. I can use my other three Neopets that are all incredibly WEAK but I can't use my ULTRA STRONG battle pet?! What is going on?
EDIT: He's suffering from Itchy Scratchies? Since WHEN? This is the first time I've noticed. *hopes the cure isn't expensive* If it is, I'm doomed.

This could happen next, but I just made it up for fun:
They defeat the giant bug and make it to the river. Roxton, being a Lutari and all, just hikes up his pant legs and is preparing to wade or swim across, since he likes water. He puts his pack on his head. In the next panel, he poses with one leg dramatically over the water, as Lillian rushes forward and says "Roxton! NO! Stop!" Just as one toe is about to enter the water, she pulls him back.
Then she says "We need to test that water first, sir! You don't know what could be living in there!" Then she pulls out a large hunk of meat and lowers it into the water with a rope. There is a swirling and churning. She picks the rope up, and there are all these pyranas eating the meat, the one leaps up and bites through the rope, coming dangerously close to her hand. Then the meat and rope fall back into the water and disappear forever.
And Roxton, instead of being grateful just makes a joke like "And to think you were carrying that large peice of meat this whole time!"
