So Twiggy is leaving my town on the 4th of this month. I did grow to like her a bit, but I really need room in my town for a Snooty villager. And once she's out, maybe Alice will finally leave too...If anyone here wants her, just let me know!

Has anybody been playing Happy Home Designer? It's rather fun! My only issue with the game is...sort of a spoiler? Maybe? I had to decorate the School before I unlocked very much, including things like ceiling lights, and I can't figure out if it's possible to redo it. I'm wishing I could make it prettier!
Also I'm putting off doing the town buildings as long as possible so I can unlock stuff from villager requests.

So my town now has Julian in it. So that's all 3 special animals. Drago, Phoebe, and Julian. To bad he didn't move in next to the other two (they're neighbors, Julian invaded the Octopus area).

I started the museum on June 30th, 2013.
Today, I finally finished it, after playing every day. I finally got the last statue.
March 4th, 2016.

In case you haven't heard, New Leaf is now amiibo compatible.
EDIT: There are a few things that don't require amiibo to play, see the Animal Crossing mini Direct in either the Eshop, Nintendo website, or Youtube. Update is available to download in the Eshop.

I lost a copy of new leaf. My main one with over 50 million bells in it. So I've been slowly rebuilding....I love the storage space in your house now. It was a much needed addendum.
I really, really don't understand the amiibo update though. Do you need a reader for the cards? Can you still order only three pieces of furniture per day if you have the amiibo? Can new villagers come into your town via the cards? Nothing I see explains any of this. XD;

You need a reader unless you have a New 3DS (which has it built in). I believe you need to find a magic lamp, then use it to call out that ghost guy I forgot the name of. When you use him, then you can scan in amiibos or the cards to call villagers to the RV Park, where you can then ask them to stay in your village (or just buy stuff from them). No idea on the ordering furniture thing. Edit: The name is Wisp!

Yep, if you have an older model of the 3DS or the 2DS, you will need a NFC reader and writer. Otherwise, New 3DS have the reader and writer built in.
As far as I know, yes you can invite villagers to your town via the cards, even if you have 10 villagers, but you will have to kick someone out. This also bypasses the 16 villager cycle, especially if you have a favourite that left and you have the card for that villager.
EDIT: You do need to find Wisp first. The lamp will show up randomly.

So Animal Crossing Pocket Camp just came out for mobiles recently, and it's awesome! I felt so much nostalgia opening that up for the first time - it was like I was playing a whole new full AC game. 8D
My friend ID is 1213 5184 016, so feel free to add me, anyone!

Yes, Pocket Camp is awesome! My ID (which also was already posted on Discord) is 3848 5831 040, and I will add you wonderful folks posthaste!
I've also been putting a lot of time into it, I'm already level 21 but at the point of waiting hours for furniture and days for amenities, please persuade me to save up my leaf tickets rather than spending them on making this go faster so I can get a cute tent and keep leveling up my friendship with the other non-Natural villagers

I love this game... tonight, while I was under physical duress, I decided to go to the island.
She spoke Japanese, I spoke English, we hardly understood a lick of what we were saying, but by God we tried.
She used Romaji when she found out I couldn't read her kana that fast. I used simple English phrases and most of the Japanese I knew.
We went on one tour and just barely won which we both laughed about. We didn't get to tour very much, because she had to leave, but she said something that I need a dictionary to translate, and she had said "I hope we meet again". I wanted to tell her the same thing, but she was gone.
I'll remember that. Something approaching friendship with the language barrier being cracked if not broken. I wonder if she'll remember me. My name is not even Katie. Maybe her name isn't even Miki.
And people wonder why I want to learn this language.
