And I'm Rabbit! One half of the Riel and Rabbit duo.
So the new direct. That was something.
The last major free update for ACNH. Lots of exciting stuff.
A lot of which is apparently from New Leaf. Now I never played New Leaf before, so all of this is new to me. (I did play City Folk for like all of an hour, but it didn't click with me because I really prefer Animal Crossing as a handheld game.) I heard a lot from Riel about the stuff from New Leaf he missed and a lot of it is in the update. So I'm excited for him and other veteran Animal Crossing players for getting all this stuff. And I'm excited for me because I get to experience these things too. ^^
In order of whatever I dang well please...
-Brewster.
The entire cafe thing just seems so cute to me. I really want to interact with NPCs outside of their standard boring business interactions.
-Kapp'n and the new islands you can visit. They look like so much fun. Different flora and fauna? Different times of day? Different seasons? Yes, yes, and double yes.
-Going off that, I saw vines. And you can climb up those vines. And so I need those vines. I have this one cliff top that I want easier access to and there's no room for a ramp and the vines would be perfect.
-Harv's Island now has a shopping plaza with shopkeepers new and old. That's just so cute and I love it. It'll make buying from them so much easier.
-Going off that, Reese and Cyrus are back and ready to customize furniture you can't. I for one very much appreciate this.
-Gardening! When I saw this, I got so excited. Now I never played Stardew or Harvest Moon or anything like that. But like. The idea of gardening and making food. It's just. It's just so cute.
-Them gyroids look fun.
-New KK albums. I like music, so I'm going to like that. One of the album covers that were shown looks like vocaloid box art and I don't know how'd that even work with KK, but I think that'd be awesome.
-Going off that, MUSIC BOX. I love love love music box themes to death.
-New! Villagers! I need Ione on my island yesterday, she is so pretty. I really hope I can island hop for her. Also, Petri is easily the best mouse.
-Going off of that, I do really do like that they brought back older villagers like Frett and Rio. I just think it's super cute and sweet.
-I still need Ione on my island, though.
-Seriously.
-I will get Ione one way or another.
-I know this would make half of my villagers squirrels. Let me live. She'd look cute with Tasha.
-Thank the gods for outdoor storage, I'll take twenty.
-There's new furniture. I saw some carnival stuff and I need that on my island asap.
-The new hairstyles look absolutely adorable. I'm definitely going to use a couple. That side braid looks so cute.
-Apparently people are excited about ordinances. I don't know if I'll use them, but Riel says I will, so apparently I will.
-Permanent ladders are cool. Not as cool as climbing up vines, in my opinion, but cool nonetheless.
-More storage is nice. Still haven't hit the 2,400 mark yet, but still good to have.
I'm nowhere near as bad as Riel.-Froggy chair.
-I don't have the money for the paid DLC, but Happy Home Paradise looks very substantial and the fact you can take what you get from it and use it on your own island is amazing. I would love partitions and soundscapes and all that.
-The fact that the DLC is only $25 USD when there's enough content for an entire other game is amazing, honestly. Happy Home Designer was its own separate game.
