So what's the thing you can do with trash to get your approval rating up? >__>
Also, super glad, the new town had a fishing pole the first day. 8D I'm happy. Fishing has always been my favorite activity in AC!

You have to pay a fee to dispose it, but doing so increases your approval rating. (by the way, you should only ever sell stuff to Re-Tail because they give you better prices) |

Also, super glad I restarted.  With fishing, I already have the down payment done and some 15k bells on top of that. I don't know if the new map is objectively better, but I'm liking it a lot more because the re-tail and city hall are on the same side of the map, and the beach is more convenient. Once I'm able to add some bridges it oughta be perfect. ^__^ Also, man, does anyone really use the 3D feature? o__0 Even turning it on minimally makes me pretty dizzy just about instantly. @__@;; |

You can talk to Isabelle (from the mayoral back seat, I think) and ask about your approval rating. It's only a mechanic for until you get to 100%, though, at which point it never is brought up again. Oooh, you have all the beach connected. That's really nice. I use the 3D when I'm trying to pinpoint the locations of flying insects, balloons, and the like. Fireflies in particular--it helps to distinguish whether they're really high up somewhere to the south, or really right on top of your character's face. By the way, which fruit does your town have? (another by the way: save all your mail so that you can have long-term storage and essentially double your closet space) (another by the way: I have degenerated into useless detached tip mode by now. raid villagers' drawers when you visit their houses, and they might give you something for free) (another by the way: open your town periodically when someone's online so we can visit and plant trees and raid your Re-Tail/Able Sisters displays and send nonsensical letters to your villagers. you can tell someone's online because there's an orange light where the StreetPass/SpotPass notification light usually comes on) |

My initial town that I ditched had peaches, which I like because peaches are my fav fruit IRL haha xD. This one is apples, which I suppose is decent, and then Isabelle gave me some oranges. What do you have? How do I open my town? |

Awww, peaches and bananas are the only fruits I'm missing for my town.  Apples natively, though. You can open your town or visit an open town by talking to Porter at the train station. Say that you want to invite guests from a faraway town (or visit a town far away). |

At least you can get bananas from the island, if you have access to it. Actually, Coaster, you can visit my town for peaches. I do have bananas as well, but I just planted them, so it's going to be a while before you can get them.

My island has coconuts, so I think I might need to shuffle through some of the international islands since I'm finally a Club Tortimer member. Ahaha I had to take an ID pic to open my town/travel/whatever, my ID card is ridiculous. xD I live in Michigan IRL, so it says 'Michigan' on it, but my town is called 'Indiana' after my dog (whose name is Indiana Jones) so it says 'Michigan Indiana'. I must seem very confused. EDIT - I opened up my town. I dunno what it does. If someone visits, can I actually see them or no? XD |

Aw, Coaster, you should've mentioned you needed peaches. I've got all the fruits (except persimmons). I keep baskets of them in my locker for visiting towns. |
