I think it's the 39k one that you have to pay to get island access the next day, but I'm not entirely sure. If not that, it's a 49k one.

Apparently buying a new mailbox like, made it so I can't ask him to make my house bigger today? XD Oh well. I'll have to wait 'till tomorrow. 8D Right now I'm just grinding in an attempt to get my approval rating up... water ALL the flowers, pick ALL the weeds, do ALL the errands, sell random bugs and fish for WAY BELOW MARKET PRICE. ^__^; I started this morning at 27% and now I'm up to I think the 70s so I'm getting there slowly haha.

Well, you can also plant a bunch of your fruit trees in the bare spots. That's the easiest way I got to it.

Yeah, I've been planting soo many apple trees. xD;; I must get approval so I can enact Night Owl and un-stagger my clock. >__>; I presently have it set back 5 hours because I like being able to play late at night and not have everything closed.

EDIT - Oh. Also. Has anyone had luck catching a shark!? I have found two but they both got away. ;__; I dunno what I'm doing wrong. xD

The trick to catching fish is to have the volume turned up loud. Looking just for the visual cue is usually way too late for me to be able to catch something.

Yeah, sharks are caught just like any other fish, except I suppose they require a faster reaction time than, say, sea bass. Personally I find it helps when I focus my eyes on a blank spot in the water so that I can see the bobber sinking animation in my peripheral vision when it's ready to go, rather than jumping the gun each time it wiggles when the fish nibbles. Then again, that's just me. Sound should be on, as well.

Pfff I'm up to 97% approval. xD;; *keeps grinding* Since my town has a mere four animals, I wonder what percent of one animal doesn't approve of me. 8D What is it: "Gee, I approve of her 88%... but there's 12% of me that doesn't like her much..."

EDIT - Derp, I can't seem to get it up anymore. .__. Keep donating things to the museum, planting trees... and it's stagnating now, of course. xD Oh, also, I added everyone's friend-code thingy that had been posted here. But I think Jay and Komori still haven't added me back. So, add me (unless you don't want to of course that's fine, I just want TOWNS TO VISIT haha). 8D

I think I got stuck at 86% when I started. Perhaps it caps out at a certain point per day? *shrug*

Whoo, island access starts tomorrow and I'm at 100%. So tomorrow, island and I can do start passing ordinances. And I'm making my house bigger again. XD Also I finally caught a shark. Watching the blank space instead of waiting for the sound cue was very helpful. If my house was bigger I woulda kept it as a pet but I don't think the tank would have fit. XD

Aside from that, people tend to post a lot of them on Tumblr and all sorts of Animal Crossing forums, so you probably don't need to do too much hoarding unless you've seen any in particular you want and you don't think you'll remember where it is.

Also, got the Golden Slingshot. If anyone wants my old regular one, I'm opening my gates right now, so feel free to visit and take it.

That's the problem- I have. XD I've been getting sent pages of them since I told someone I was getting the game, so I really need to collect and save them. XD

You can do both in one day, because one's an ordinance and the other is a public work. The only problem is having enough money, and you can always take donations for the bridge and leave it up until later. Just make sure it's in a spot you think it'll be fairly permanent >_>
