I'd really like to know if any VAs have been chosen yet...
(I hope they don't ruin Hunny's voice XD)

Vic Mignogna apparently auditioned for that role. Of course, everyone knows that Vic would really like to play Tamaki (he said it himself dozens of times), so that's hardly surprising. There's plenty of speculation abound, though. No-one seems to be able to agree on who should voice whom. XP (One thing's for certain. For a while I thought that Aaron Dismuke (who voiced Al in Fullmetal Alchemist) might be a candidate for Hunny... then I discovered that he's too old now.) |

Ouran would most likely be a very difficult anime to cast dub actors for, and not just because of the twins. I mean, in all the fandubs (and even the original) I've seen, I've yet to hear a Haruhi voice that could pass as either male or female. Then again, I've heard a lot of low female voices (counting my own), and that might be influencing how I see/hear it. ...but at least the guys will be voiced by guys. XD (Not that they weren't in the original! XD Okay, Hunny is a possible exception.) |
