Also, just to clarify, this isn't the same anime as the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, right? xD; Just double-checking. I've heard it referred to as S.O.S. Brigade or something, so... Gyaaagh. [  ] *Brain is confuzzled* Nope, Ouran High School Host Club is not related in any way to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The only similiarity is that both include a character named Haruhi. XD |

I find it hilarious that the voice actor who plays Hikaru is the same one who did Watanuki in xxxHolic. He's a pretty spazzy character (Watanuki is) so I can't wait to see how it turns out. XD

Yup. October the 28th. I can't wait! The trailer is up on the Funimation website. I don't mind any of the voices--Vic really isn't bad as Tamaki even though people were freaking out about him. The only thing I don't understand is the decision to translate the opening song into English. People always hate it when companies do it and the English version doesn't sound great, so what's the point? I like it when the song's in a foreign language so I can never fully learn them, and thus the singing doesn't get all too monotonous. (When you can barely keep up with what the heck they're saying, you don't even think about memorizing.)

I can't tell if the singer is singing really off-key in some places, or if that's just the bad quality of the video I'm hearing. MilkyCabbage's song dubs are awesome. I like it better than the official one too, but at least the official dub isn't terrible.
