I'd talk with you but I don't think we're watching any of the same shows. D:
This season I'm watching Sasami-san@ganbaranai and Tamako Market. Tried to pick up some other stuff but it seems I can't manage it when it's not A. either by SHAFT or KyoAni B. something I know for a fact I'm gonna like.

I literally jump around to everything if I can find a decent quality version to watch XD Dub or Sub, I don't care to much (dub is easier for me since I can sit down when eating lunch or dinner to watch and not have to read XD)
Currently, I don't have anything new I'm watching... Sort of watching older stuff XD

I eat while watching subs all the time. C: Maybe it's a skill. I pick subs 99% of the time. For me there's only two reasons I'd watch a dub. If it was really well done and makes more sense for it to be in English (Baccano, for example) or if I grew up with the dub version and can't imagine listening to anything else. (Cowboy Bebop)
One time I made myself watch the Keion dub for five minutes and I cried tears of blood. Everyone sounded about thirty.

Probably because they were? Most voice actors are 30+ XD A few young ones here and there, but most are pretty old compared to who they play XD
I like dubs. The only ones I can really say I dislike are the old dubs before they actually tried. Like Ranma or Love Hina, which just sound bad... I'll watch them dubbed still... but.. Wow....

Yeah, but when you have an thirty-five year old woman who's been smoking seemingly since the day she was born voicing a fourteen year old girl it's really jarring. There are plenty of older actresses who can sound young, for some reason none of them were casted for the Keion dub.

Hmm, I don't know... I liked the K-On dub XD

So, it seems that Guillermo Del Toro plans on making a HBO series of Monster. They plan to make the series follow closely to the manga series, and Naoki Urasawa is supposed to go over each episode script (for the first season at least). At the moment the pilot script is being looked over by HBO.
This could be pretty interesting. I've seen the anime, and it's a pretty good series. A bit freaky. A bit gruesome. A bit awesome. Perfect for HBO XD

<_< ...this might seem like a weird question, but does anybody know of any good magical girl anime that can be watched online for free, legally?

<_< ...this might seem like a weird question, but does anybody know of any good magical girl anime that can be watched online for free, legally? Puella Magi Madoka Magica is available on Hulu. It's very good, though it's kind of unusual for magical girl anime in some ways, mostly in that it's a fair bit darker than most. xD (You might have to search for "Madoka Magica" by itself; I've had issues with it not coming up in searches for the full title.) That's the only magical girl anime I've seen, though, so I can't really help you much beyond that. >_> You can check out Hulu and Crunchyroll for other anime, though; both are legal sites.

I highly recommend Princess Tutu, but I don't know about its online legal availability. It isn't a standard magical girl show either and IMO transcends its genre and deals with some universal and fascinating themes, but it's closer to what you'd expect from the genre than Madoka.

Princess Tutu is available on Hulu, but only in the English dub, weirdly. I couldn't find a legal subbed version, last time I looked. xD Out of curiosity, have you seen the dub? If so, what did you think of it? I'd like to know if it's worth watching dubbed if I can't find a subbed version. (Anyone else who's seen it can feel free to weigh in, too.) (Mostly what I'm asking here is whether the dub is well-acted or not. I'm cool with dubs when the voice acting is good, but if it isn't...well. It's highly distracting.)

Ah, thanks for the information. Hulu is blocked outside of the US, so I'm never able to see anything on it and tend to forget it exists. <_<
I have always heard very high praise for the Princess Tutu dub and I remember watching a couple of episodes of it once and liking it, though I've never gone through the whole series dubbed. But I'd say yes, it would be worth watching dubbed. At any rate I don't think intolerable acting would be a concern.

Anyone think Pretty Cure seasons 1-3 were good? I was going to watch them this Fall but am curious about whether or not they're worth the watch.
