@komori-at least there's the demo version while we wait. It will come out next week (Sept 19), according to what Nintendo live@ the Treehouse mentioned. If it's anything like the Japanese Demo, which it probably will, it'll only have 5 characters to choose from, local multiplayer, and one stage. So not much to hold most people with XD But it's enough for now (plus it at least has Megaman and Villager as characters to choose from) |

Meanwhile, I only had 300 points, so I wasn't close. |

Well, I'll say this much: Draco was entirely right about there not being much to hold you over until Oct 3. XD Limited to 5 chars (Mario, Link, Pikachu, Megaman, Villager) with 3 costumes each, Battlefield only, and only 2-minute battles. Can't even use the Options menu to change the button config. X3 I think this almost makes the waiting worse, because I want to start playing the game and unlocking things! D:

It lets you get a very small taste of the game. How it feels on the 3DS, and at least lets you play two of the new characters...
Though I've heard a number of people finding Villager weird to play with well. Pretty sure people will figure out how soon, but most online are having issues XD

I miss the Ice Climbers  Duck Hunt looks like fun, though, and he'd be a great troll character because of his taunt! |

My friend and I came up with the best Final Smash for Duck Hunt Dog. The dog just does it's evil taunting laugh in the background, giant, the effects of the Luigi zone from brawl sort of happen while ducks fly around the screen attacking you, all the while DHD just keeps laughing.
Though, the real final smash is a bit... Odd, but fun too.

If Japan's sales are any indications (over 1 million copies, both physical and digital, sold during its first weekend), Smash for 3DS will do well when it's released in Europe and North America. Of course, previous Smash titles have been Killer Apps on the other consoles, so I guess this shouldn't be a surprise.

EDIT: Okay nevermind, I read up the whole Princess Peach getting auto banned from For Glory mode because she can pull items (read: Turnips and off-chance Bob-ombs) out of the ground, in which one of the main rules was no items. Its not even a glitch or bug but rather a contradiction in the rules. Nintendo really need to patch this asap 'cos that was a major oversight on their part. |
