I assume any and all leaks are false until proven by the daily update. If nothing is announced, we'll find out next month when it's released in Japan. |

I guess that starts to give some serious credibility to the recent leak since Shulk's official portrait is identical to the one in the leak.
I'll be kind of bummed out if it's true because it means that Ice Climbers were cut, and that's really upsetting for me. They were nice unique characters, and I guess they were cut because of 3DS limitations (that's what people are saying) but they included Rosalina and Luma no problem so I think they could have worked around it for ICs.
But anyway, i'm super happy that Shulk is playable. Xenoblade is one of my favourite games and even though he's another sword user, they're at least giving them a bit of variety with mechanics and stuff. |

1: Cut because of technical issues. But like you said, Rosalina + Luma...
2: DLC Character. A few places are claiming you'll be able to download the IC later to add to the roster along with possibly Snake again.
I never really liked or played them, but they were interesting in terms of gameplay. So it is odd to see them go if they did really take them out.

Plus talking to my friend. We both really believe the WiiU version will actually have a extra character or two that the 3DS won't. But that's still up to debate too. |

True. Of course, we won't know until Friday which version it would be. Oh, apparently, according to Sakurai via Miiverse, there will be an actual demo coming soon to the eShop (Japan already has it released with 3 days before the actual release of the game). Which, I'll be honest, is disappointing for a couple of reasons (the char/level select UIs are ugly, for example), but I'm still pretty glad that the roster's finally out there. ... Which will make waiting for Oct 3 all the more unbearable. XD |
