Ikkin...major ROFL-ness. XDDDDDDDDD Put him in a comic, quick! ...that's not a bad idea... XD Though, I have no clue how I could make it make sense... and the picture alone probably isn't enough for a comic... *plans* Count me in! Count me in! Will do. ^_^

I told King Skarl; "Evil Skeith? Skarl!" and he laughed. And gave me some gruel. It was rather odd, maybe he lost all his good sense and went insane after the second Meridell War. So why he's still king of Meridell is a mystery to me. Kauvara should be elected queen. *nodnod* XD He sure has a strange sense of humor... But, why Kauvara? She doesn't even live in Meridell? And, to liven this place up... disco-dancing Darigan! So? Lisha originally didn't live in Meridell either and now she's the champion-ess of Meridell or whatever. Kauvara is just plain pwnful. That's why she should be elected Queen. Of Meridell...Or Kayla. Kayla's cool. Or, since Jeran is the prince and all that....nah. "King Jeran"...no. "Queen Lisha" maybe...Anyhow, I vote that NO MORE KING SKARL BECAUSE MERIDELL PWNS AND KING SKARL DOESN'T! See, if the land pwns and the king doesn't you gotta say 'bye-bye' to the king and keep the land. If the king pwns and the land doesn't. then make the king a king somewhere else and make the land property of Meridell. That's what you gotta do.

That's sure. I don't really like King Skarl from the beginning.

Either way, queens, kings and other members of a monarch aren't elected. They need to be related to the royal family to be in line to gain the throne. So, I think that Hagan should get it. Or maybe Hagan invades Meridell and gets it.

Hagan: To expand my empire and turn those brainless bumpkins in Meridell into bookish brainiacs! Never mind. But sometimes when there aren't any more relatives existing, this whole who-gets-the-throne-next business can be tricky. Especially since it's not quite stated if Skarl does have an heir to the throne. What? He's been there a long time, he should have had an heir![/shadow]

EDIT: Hagan should be around the same age as Skarl but... he doesn't have such high cholesterol compared to Skarl. So he could probably live longer.

...Roberta? Who is this strange relative? *is clueless*
Hmm, somebody needs to attack King Skarl, and um, the dead Jeran should take the throne, since he's the...(dead) prince...and since he's dead...Lisha'll hafta take over. *nodnod* That'll be good. Queen Lisha, championess of Meridell...Has a nice ring.

Well, even if Skarl wasn't married, it wouldn't be that hard for him to adopt someone (even if their parents were still alive, there are histoical precedences) and appoint them as the crown prince/ss.
I vote that Roberta is the daughter of Skarl and Hagen's sibbling. If she were Skarl's daughter, she'd probably live in Meridell.

They fight against the evil Darigan people so they don't take over the world with a sacred orb that controlled their minds. This way, things are much easier. It should be a random, common person, because they never get much attention. After all, Jeran IS royalty.

It should be a random, common person, because they never get much attention. After all, Jeran IS royalty. Well, what's to say that a ruler can't be a warrior? Think Lord of the Rings- Aragorn and Theoden were both kings, and they put themselves out on the front lines. j;) It wasn't all too uncommon for rulers to do that in medieval times. *shrugs* And, to clear up the misconception- the Darigan people weren't ever evil... they were good until Meridell stole the orb, and they were in the right to try to get it back. Not that Meridell was really evil, either... certainly not nice, but you can understand why they did what they did- they'd starve otherwise. Kass was the only one being mind-controlled, and he managed to convince his people that Meridell wanted to destroy them... which would have made the war seem quite justifiable if you only knew that side of the story, and not what was really going on. Lots of shades of grey in Meridell, and that's part of what I love about it. j:) But, whoever it is, it shouldn't be a 'random common person.' It has to be someone royal to fit in with the system of government. I think I'd prefer Skarl to retroactively be given an Usul daughter than to have a random commoner become king of Meridell. j;)
