You know, I hated the shopkeepers just as much as the next guy, but the actual pet...looks kinda nice. More Neopets and less NEOPETZ -- I think it's the eyebrows. I can actually see it as a female, now. There's still the issue with the neck, but for some reason it doesn't just *glare* at you now, especially in shadow.
I think I may get one, actually. Only I'll draw it with a lay-down mane and a thicker neck...yeah...
And that plushie is adorable.

Its eyes look better in the spotted one. They don't look so terribly fixed on something offscreen.

I does look better as a pet than as a shopkeeper... but it will never ever be one of my favorite pets. Bah. The Ogrin could use a revamp already... o.O; If the neck wasn't that skinny and the ears and tail didn't look like hooves, I'd find it pretty cool. Atleast it's different from what you usually see. The ranged attack pose has potential though...  Doesn't look much like a ranged attack... but at least the pose isn't bad at all. |
