I still don't see the point of making some pets limited. What does that do? It doesn't change the fact that there are 50-some pets out there. *shrug*
And from this week's editorial, it sounds like this might not be a joke. They say they have two pets in the plans, not counting Lutari. So this might actually be one of them. Odd.

I saw that in the editorial, too...
I don't know what to think now. *clutches Xweetok for comfort*
Though, I think the editorial means that there's going to be four new pets if you count the Xweetok. Because the Xweetok's already been released, and they say they're working on two more plus the Lutari.
So is the giraffe the something that's quite different, or is it going to be a mutation of the April Fool's pet?

Apparently there will be a fistful on pet days in December and January. The Xweetok was the first one, now the April Fools pet and the giraffe thing bump in and the Lutari should show up soon too. Poor Mr. Chipper is so lonely up there in Terror Mountain >.>
I still don't understand why they have to release so many new pets all of a sudden. Now that the new rules make things complicated with side accounts, they bring out a bunch of new pets. Plus they seem a bit, hrm, rushed. The odd giraffe could really use some elaborating.

I hope they hurry and release the Lutari. Why, we already know about it, so why not? I understand that there is much to be done, but they have had like 3 months to do it. Why not? As for that giraffe thing, I could survive neo without it >.>

But don't you think its funny that they have released about 3 pets that very few people knew about once we found out about the lutari? We found out about Lutaris about the time we found out about Hissis. Now THAT was really long ago!

This is so weird most nobody likes the whatchamajigger lol xD
and non of the artwork on neo looks like Leonardo Davinci work sooo I don't know why
everyone is getting on the poor pet for that when it looks no better and no worst then everything else there x__x

It IS odd that the random theme day was on a Tuesday, rather than the normal Wednesday, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for a new pet on Wednesday... That's been happening quite a bit lately, I've noticed. I'm pretty sure a few other Random theme days have taken place on days other than Wednesday. But maybe that's because pet days took place on those Wednesdays. *shrugs* |

We've just had lots of big events this year so it was scheduled after some of those things. To make up for the wait, we'll let you in on a little secret. There are TWO new Neopets species being released soon! One of which is the April Fools pet, of course. The other is something quite different. These are in addition to the Lutari, which is part of something much bigger that we can't discuss yet.
