It actually does make perfect sense that it's a joke-- an elaborate one, but that's just TNT's style-- that they'd use to throw us off before introducing the April Fool's winner. It can be seen as an amalgamation of several of the pets from that poll, so they'll say the votes were so close that they put them all together in one pet to please everyone. Then they'll release the real thing and everyone will be so relieved that the "pleasing everyone" pet wasn't real, that they won't complain about the fact that their choice wasn't the winner. And, of course, there's precedence. The fake cybunny makeover springs first to mind. I dunno... Shopkeepers and a caption contest? Have they ever been that elaborate? That's just the thing-- they have to get a little more elaborate each time in order to keep fooling us. Also, how often do we see caption contests and shopkeepers before the pet itself is uploaded? The only example I can think of is the ruki, and that was removed quickly after people found it, whereas this is rather conspicuously being left up for all to see even though I'm sure TNT knows by now that we have seen it.

I see a bit of cybunny, moehog and kougra... but I don't know which part is Koi.... Retire?? Yeah right! Can you imagine the uproar? Oh gosh. I'd much rather deal with a hundred neopet species than a million complaining neopet players. I think maybe what she means is say no more of certain pets. Make them "restricted" or something. Looks like a Koi/Cybunny/Moehog/Kougra hybrid. I see a bit of cybunny, moehog and kougra... but I don't know which part is Koi.... The fin-like moehawk.

I drew it for the sake of seeing if I could like it any more. Though I think I probably should have done what I did with the Xweetok, where I walked away and had no reference. XP Pretty color version now. =D .... I already submitted it to the AG. If it does come out as a new pet, maybe I'll have a shot at getting one of the first few pics in. I ended up titling it 'Brotherhood of the Rock'. XP *had no idea what to call it*

XP I like the one in the background, not so much the foreground one. I'ma try coloring it now. Not bad at all. See? They kinda look nice when they're drawn in proportion...something Neopets couldn't do. =P

If you look at the URL for the caption contest and shopkeepers, you'll see it doesn't have the pet's name in it, just a number in succession. The reason these were found first was because we don't know the name of it to find the poses first.

I'm scared now. What's going to happen? *doesn't take eyes off of the news* It could attack anytime. *hopes she's having a bad dream*

... *looks at spot and meowth's art* ... I vote we petition to make spot and meowth official TNT artists *raises hand* Yes, yes, meowth is the newest addition to TNT. Horray! I wish. Anyway, both of you're pictures really are cute. Please don't be offended, spot, but I laughed at your title. The pets were namless now, but forsome reason, I thought, How are these creatures related to rocks? The only answer I could come up with is that they are as stupid as one. I'm sorry. I'm horribly against this pet, but I like your versions better. "I want my neoflakes!"

I <3 it. I also like meowth's version, although it wouldn't get accepted because it's more tiger than giraffe.

I have long feared that they would start retiring pets. Fear because the Lenny has almost always been the recipient of the wooden spoon (not counting ltd ed. pets). Sure there's less Rukis, but they've only been around for a little while. Lennies are like, 7 years old, and they only just recently broke a million.
Noooooo! Not my Lennies...
