I don't think I'm very fond of it. And since it has yet to recieve a name, I'm going with my own nickname for the time being. The hooves-for-ears, just seems ... awkward. I don't mind creatures with long necks, but it ... I want to say the neck is too skinny. It actually isn't in a cartoon sense, but it irks me regardless.
I also agree with Komori that it needs teeth. Otherwise, it gives me the impression of a grandfatherly figure that gums on his food. Meanwhile, this grandfatherly figure has a moehawk. I'd actually like the red shopkeeper pose if they fixed the muzzle and gave it teeth.
*pokes at it* Not really thrilled or anything by it.

It actually does make perfect sense that it's a joke-- an elaborate one, but that's just TNT's style-- that they'd use to throw us off before introducing the April Fool's winner. It can be seen as an amalgamation of several of the pets from that poll, so they'll say the votes were so close that they put them all together in one pet to please everyone. Then they'll release the real thing and everyone will be so relieved that the "pleasing everyone" pet wasn't real, that they won't complain about the fact that their choice wasn't the winner. And, of course, there's precedence. The fake cybunny makeover springs first to mind. I dunno... Shopkeepers and a caption contest? Have they ever been that elaborate? That's what makes it such a great plan. *keeps fingers crossed* |

It's like the creature is pulling the defensive stance of a tiger, and the ear is doing the flailing hooves of a bucking horse. *shrug* Just what I saw when I looked at it, and it stuck. |

*blinks* The first I saw it, it reminded me of my Zafara, or actually his attitude. Can't say I love it, but I don't hate it either. One of those pets that make me shrug...
And seriously, what's with the rapid pet releases? Being the artist-who-draws-for-all-pet-day-Art-Galleries, I shall be very busy in a few years. Some species should really be retired *ponder* That wouldn't be impossible if they gave all owners who have the species the choice of morphing the pet into any other species they want. Just a random idea... *ponders on*
